I demand as a long standing customer that #Santander remove View Pin from the app. Just saw it and too scared to look at my own pin in case I’m hacked! @santanderuk

  • ThomasC44047913 weeDesbhoy (@ThomasC44047913) reported

@theophilus21C @santanderuk You can access your card pin from the phone app. And yes, anyone who can access or clone your smart phone, IS YOU, to the bank. Don't know if its all banks, but defo Santander. Could tell you a few horror stories about that particular banks ' fraud prevention' decisions.

@MorganBroadcast What a terrible story and a cautionary tale. I’m so sorry and hope @santanderuk do the right thing

  • comebackpaddy Jo Riley (@comebackpaddy) reported

@MorganBroadcast God this is **** - I’m so sorry you’ve had all this stress. Nothing reassuring about anybody’s behaviour here @santanderuk @VirginActiveUK

  • maryglanville1 M.E.G (@maryglanville1) reported

@MorganBroadcast ...with @santanderuk and their notes on disk, you can obtain them via a Subject Access report. They have 28 days to comply. 2/2

  • Littlejems3 💎 Little Jems 💎 (@Littlejems3) reported

@PeterDbrash @MorganBroadcast Interesting that I can’t now get into the app. It’s ‘timed out’. @santanderuk is this an outage?

  • minerva101 s. mary bennett🇺🇦 (@minerva101) reported

@MorganBroadcast Awful. @santanderuk - you really need to address this

  • Kinsal2 sally🌻🇺🇦😷#FBPPE 🇪🇺 (@Kinsal2) reported from Chester-le-Street, England

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk I have just shown her your tweet and she has sensibly decided against an account with @santanderuk . The last thing anyone should feel is that this is the kind of Customer Service that you would recieve if you found yourself the victim of a crime.

  • Ind3pendent7 CJ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴‍☠️ (@Ind3pendent7) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk But to access PIN they’d need your 6 digit security passcode (the banks one) I can’t fathom how they did it. Unless it’s an inside job at virgin they’d have your deets via membership

  • nic_i9876 N.I.C (@nic_i9876) reported

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk @VirginActiveUK Did you have face recognition switched on for your banking app too? If so and they had a way of getting through this, perhaps a pic of you? They could then access your banking app, get your pin from within that, and receive any calls they need to change your banking details
