How about this for a whopper from @santanderuk #mortgage #brokers.... BTL app submitted a month ago, down val, so max loan reduced... requested today to take max available... sorry, that's 'a material change' so new calcs = £140k not £240k 🤯

@will_hulse @santanderuk Not untypical for a complicated IT issue. Doesn’t mean it is a malware attack specifically. Could be as simple as a database problem, and they’re doing everything necessary to bring it back. Unless HCL are involved and they’re trying to mobilise knowledge from onshore IT
