  @MartinSLewis @GMB I’m being forced to pay over £2,000 by @santanderuk to exit a mortgage that only has 3 months to run to term. I’ve sent letters but they refuse to even drop the amount and I’m at my wits end. Can you help me please because they seem not to care at all

  @MorganBroadcast @santanderuk @VirginActiveUK And I hope the police can help you and that Santander and Virgin get their acts together & are held accountable. Also, ask for all of the recordings of your phone calls to be passed to the police, then you can prove that they acted negligently with regards to the old number etc

  @chaosprimeZ @santanderuk I can imagine! Their customer service for me was non existant. On the other hand, although I havent suffered fraud since, Nationwides branch staff have virtually fell over themselves to help with other queries.

  @santanderuk This continued for a further 24 hrs with over 35 new accts being opened. I, therefore, had to call to explain the situation. The call handler was helpful and said he would close the new accts but I was staggered that as a customer facing employee he was not aware of the situation

  Why is it so difficult to get past automated bank systems? I want to make a payment which is outside the parameters of the app, but getting out of the doom loop of “did you know you can do this on the app” is almost impossible. Thanks (not) @santanderuk .

  @PixelPrincessRG @santanderuk Im just so annoyed ya know, this will impact my next 2 months now. £1k might not be a lot for some but its what im budgeting especially with the schools opening next week. Its hit heavier this month and having that money returned i didnt spend would help a lot.
