    @CindyTh3Dog @SkyUK This happened to my Aunt when my Uncle died, they asked for the pin on the account and she said she didn’t have it, so she couldn’t change or cancel the account. I ended up writing to the CEO (at a time I had the word ‘media’ in my work email address) and said that funnily enough, passing on the virgin pin wasn’t top of his bucket list when he was given weeks to live! Took the CEO intervening to finally get it sorted out, bloody ludicrous!

    @SkyHelpTeam Pretty poor service for you to send an engineer to change a disabled 80 year olds router and your engineer refusing and saying they can't change the SSID to match the old router so all her devices would reconnect. Takes 5 mins and would really help her. Shameful.

    @360red_ @SkyHelpTeam Id take the opportunity and CANCEL any subscription with Sky! THE worst company ive ever dealt with! They will pass you around foreign call centres- from the Philippines, to south Africa, and will NEVER answer questions! Im billed £56 per month, yet they say im not a customer!

    @jammierooroo @SkyUK Anyone who pays £110 or £170 a month for sky tv is insane. It’s 2026 not 1999. So many other far better routes. Sky is like any other company. Profit first. BT and British Gas are awful to the elderly. Hope you get it sorted and give them a piece of your mind.

    @jammierooroo @Bawbaw19933241 @SkyUK My 97 year old mother was paying something along the lines of £150 and barely using anything. So my sister phoned up and lied and said she'd gone into a nursing home so they'd cancel it!! They prey on the vulnerable elderly who they know don't understand these things!!
