So a @TalkTalk update. They have been charging my gran £30 for broadband a month, when she has never used the internet or been given a router. She received a phone call saying it was her fault, as she agreed to the contract! They have taken the broadband charge off 1/2

Hi @TalkTalk can someone please get in touch- we are trying to cancel our fathers account as he is no longer living independently. He doesn’t know his account name anymore as he has dementia. We called your agents last week and they were not very helpful

@FooWhiter Got Sky broadband and never had a problem with it. We used to have TalkTalk and had the same problem you described. Seems to be a lottery with these things.

@virginmedia I've spoken to your retention team and they wouldn't offer anything near what new customer would get. @SkyUK and @TalkTalk seem more than willing to offer existing customers out of contact the same deals as new.
