@Raphaelite_Girl Just been through same with TalkTalk. I proved that it wasn't the router but they refused to call openreach as I refused to pay if they couldn't find a fault...for an intermittent problem. I ended up with ftth from BT for only a marginal increase in price. That told em.

@TalkTalk I don’t know, because I haven’t tried it when I’m on a call. I just say it’s a bad line, end the call & redial. I’m more concerned about it dropping out frequently when I’m using the internet or on my mobile. I live in an old farmhouse in rural Cornwall, which doesn’t help. 1/2

@TalkTalk absolutely shocking service from you. Waiting 40 days to have internet. Sold wrong product, issues with listening, failure in calling back when promising call backs. The kicker is you’ve already taken money from me! #outraged is an understatement

@TalkTalk Openreach have changed everything in our house for new, they replaced an obsolete cable from the house to the pole that I had to fight tooth and nail for you to get done, our land line crackles so bad we can’t even make a telephone call.

@PaddyMcCrossan4 @TalkTalk had the misfortune to sign up some years ago presumably when Dido was in charge customer services was in India & no one knew anything presumption was it was your fault not sure there is an ethical broadband the 'market' is a cartel a public good for profit - ppl accept it

@yourolly Openreach then leases these cables to other service providers like EE, PlusNet, Vodafone, TalkTalk, Sky etc, who can then also either pay to use OR’s kit in the exchange or rent space to house their own kit (LLU or Local Loop Unbundling)

@TalkTalk I'm beyond annoyed now all I'm trying to do is cancel my account which is in my right in the 14 day period and I have been put on hold hung up on or left in dead space for over an hour and a half today its a joke! Dont buy talktalk! #disgusting

@yourolly Then, some ISPs own their own core networks between exchanges (TalkTalk do this), others piggyback on Openreach’s. Virgin own their own Docsis cable network (bought off NTL, which was Telewest, which also bought the infra off Cable and Wireless)

@BBCWatchdog @TalkTalk @MartinSLewis no internet for the day since Talk Talk we t down , i gave had conversations by text with two people one for over an hour and still not fixed, they just want the same stuff all the time , bloody useless

Great work @TalkTalk not! I checked if my router would work with Fibre 35 but surprise surprise no! Then kept in a queue to speak to someone for 25 mins before being told you are now closed and cut off. Very poor service!
