Got this text today as I was being told that Openreach had disconnected my broadband line. TalkTalk are lying to me "Hello, We've sent an engineer to fix a problem with your line and we're now monitoring it. Your connection might take a few days to adjust. Your TalkTalk team"

I had openreach in yesterday to install fibre cable, now got a shiny new box in the garage and another shiny new box in the study, with fibre cable between them. OK @TalkTalk it still doesn't work, 35 days now without broadband or landline, does anyone actually care?

@dancludlow @TalkTalk After 21 hours of no internet @TalkTalk have at least now agreed to use only 1 excuse, "there is a fault at the exchange and they are working on it". When asked for an estimate on a fix, not a chance, hours, days, no one will say, just wait for the fix

@timfprice @annembee @virginmedia I have a similar problem with TalkTalk, I have had no broadband or landlines since 17th Feb, they disconnected me because I was upgrading to their fibre to the house, except that got delayed but they still disconnected my normal service. Their web chat service is a joke

@dancludlow @margatesunsets BT are offering a similar package to the 1 I had chosen from TalkTalk except they are £12 per month more expensive, I might decide it is worth it if the service is going to be better

@TalkTalk Just do you know Andy, I have spent almost 5 hours in 4 web chats, 3 were disconnected just after the hour mark and the 4th went on for almost 2 hours without resolution, it was obvious they were following a script and could do nothing when the problem was off script

@dancludlow @TalkTalk I have requested that they fulfill the original complaint in the original 3 to 5 day timescale which would end tomorrow what they want to do is add another 5 days, I'm not impressed

@TalkTalk The main problem has always been that the front line staff have been apologising and saying sorry since the 18th Feb, but they obviously cannot do anything about the problem and the people they are passing the problem to are doing nothing

@AngelcityIain Im a TalkTalk customer but Openreach came to put fibre to my house, they disconnected my copper line then found a blockage in the pipe they were going to feed the fibre down. They say they can't restore my copper line and the fibre won't be in until the 15th march, I'm pissed

Today I chatted with @TalkTalk and got lots of apologies and cheerful noises and then told I would have to wait another 5-10 days for someone to look into this, no mention of a fix timeframe.
