Truly awful experience at a @Barclays bank branch (Enfield). Looking for an alternative tbh. All big machines, took four attempts to enter for one cheque payment and one EFT. Took almost 30 mins. Hopeless. Dreadful. Looking to switch to @TSB or maybe @MetroBank_Help now.

Letter from @TSB ‘we need to make sure your details are correct.’ 15 minutes to answer the phone. Me: ‘You say you tried to call but I didn’t get a call.’ TSB: ‘We’ve got 07…’ Me: ‘That’s wrong.’ TSB: ‘I can’t change that, you need to call customer services’ 🙄

@TSB @Schultzh Why do you need more information, when problem is the same for majority of customers since Friday morning-verification text codes doesn't arrive!!!! It doesn't matter if you use app or website or whatever. It doesn't come. Just fix it and stop asking the same questions.😡😡

Otherwise I'd expect it to be back up and working tomorrow sometime depending on how many people kept trying because we weren't given good advice. Hope it's sorted for you very soon. @TSB Beverley has to be the worst bank in the town. After refurb looks like a cheap staff Canteen but without any service. Time to move my money to a bank where people are not sat in offices but are helping customers #verypoorservice

When I got through to customer service she said that was the part that wasn't working so they'd switched the system so everyone was getting codes. I think that's what overloaded the system. I did get just two codes this morning from last night - about a 14 hr

@TSB (and those following)… the online payment code issue seems to be fixed here now. I'll be helping my parents switch banks over the next few weeks. The downtime is bad enough but the total lack of (useful) communication is a dealbreaker.
