    I cannot believe that our @virginmedia internet is down AGAIN. (Same issue last week) Working from home is made nearly impossible by these jokers and not a wird of apology. With a holiday coming up I have a lot to do, @virginmedia are doing their best to increase this work load.

    @virginmedia your customer service is appalling! I need to cancel my contract as moving and nobody is answering the phones. I used the text number and went through a long exchange of messages only to be told I needed to phone!! I have been trying to get through for the past month

    @rabbiton @virginmedia We had such trouble with them too. 3 times we were let down. One chap claimed he couldn’t climb up a ladder for H&S reasons but knew a chap who would for an extra £50. We had to complain multiple times. Hope they offer you some compensation.

    @EE @nick_pope You are penalised for loyalty. Service providers will always try everything to keep you, but it will often be once you’ve made the decision to move. I had no less than. 5 calls from @virginmedia when I cancelled my contract. That. Ship. Sailed!

    @virginmedia The person I spoke with was very arrogant on the phone and was reading off a script. No help just said there was no record. We have problems with our internet daily and I try to work from home but I always end up in a local coffee shop using their internet that is #btinternet

    2/3 @virginmedia I have now requested to speak to a human on numerous occasions since Monday to no avail. I have no issue with waiting and being allocated a time to resolve this due to the current situation but the lack of care for customers of 20 years + sums up the robot era!

    1/3 I’ve never come across such appalling ‘customer service’ & disregard for its customers than that of @virginmedia currently trying to help my 78 & 92 year old parents navigate a series of dead end automated lines rerouted to generic links that don’t cover the issue

    @virginmedia I followed the steps there is nothing wrong with the equipment and it doesn't list anything wrong in the area however at the times it goes down other people with virgin in the area who I know also experience the same issues

    @virginmedia There are known area issues but apparently i have specific issues too. The engineer won’t phone me or visit. I know you will just go through a set dialogue of tweets which will eventually ask me to text or call customer service, which then ends up with me getting ignored again.

    @virginmedia What reference number??? I got told there was never a complaint made. When there actually was but @virginmedia being @virginmedia there's no paper chase or even a engineer that seemly never came out. Very very strange.

    @virginmedia Define the difference between outage and loss of service. You are a fault full service with no ownership or accountability. You can’t take the money and not provide the service. It’s basic economics. Currently you’re the only ones winning.
