After calling Linksys, it was 45 mins on the phone with @virginmedia with the agent arguing with me that they can’t help with my hub if it’s in modem mode only for them to pass it on to someone else who changes a setting and asks me to reset. 30 wait for results now.

@virginmedia I’ve said this more than once before on here and I’ll say it again. VM broadband is crap!! Their Wi-fi is shi., keeps cutting out yet they promise it is better and stronger. Don’t believe it!! The old router was far better than this rubbish!!!

@virginmedia I pay £40 a month JUST for WiFi!!!! it’s horrendous. Slow, can’t handle streaming a simple Amazon Prime video, and I’m getting charged DOUBLE what I paid originally a few years back! I’ll be phoning to leave Monday morning, £40 is terrible, let alone for poor service

@virginmedia No it’s not an “outage” but he said they had quite a lot of customers affected following a DOCSIS upgrade? Some form of timeline on a fix would be good as it’s pretty much unusable. Cheers.

@Ofcom @virginmedia Thanks @Ofcom. Virgin media continues to charge a full amount of subscription without living up to the agreed speed. Every household in my neighbourhood has the same problem. They suggested I pay extra for a booster to get the service I should be getting by default.

@virginmedia Services are still down and I expect them to be down all weekend. I keep getting told via your web site that an engineer is working on the case and that it will be resolved by 3pm that same day, nothing happens. I'm giving up and will cancel my subscription.
