@virginmedia is there a problem in the CF23 area ... no WiFi??

  • FindlayEquality
Graham Findlay FRSA 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇪🇺 (@FindlayEquality) reported from Cathays, Wales

@rwilliams1947 @virginmedia It seems VM are also messing up landlines too. They now need to connect the phone cable to the Wi-Fi hub . Which means lots of trouble in my house and many other properties across the UK. And good luck with trying to discontinue their contract - they make it very difficult.

  • djleekee
Lee Smith 🌻 (@djleekee) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia The channel 4 one seems a bit flakey too. The opening sting on each service plays and then some ads but on both the programmes never play so I give up and use the smart TV apps instead. I've assumed it's a bandwidth issue but I suppose if ads are playing the progs should too.

  • RedhillsAnnie
Pauline Lomax (@RedhillsAnnie) reported from Cardiff, Wales

Alleluia @virginmedia Just taken one month to have most issues resolved. Feedback: less silos in customer service so they can see all issues and be more helpful.

  • George66Steve
Steve George🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@George66Steve) reported from Cathays, Wales

    @virginmedia It's not intermittent, it's completely down in CF23.

  • andylance1977
andy lanyon (@andylance1977) reported from Newport, Wales

@virginmedia It works intermittently. This has been discussed over a series of phone calls through 12 months. A booster box has been sent too and its still poor. We're paying for a service we can't use when we want to. The TV box is next to the WiFi box downstairs & is still poor.

  • paulo1927
Paul 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@paulo1927) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia as a former TV customer, now just broadband, I want to reconnect a TV package. I already have 3 boxes in my house can they not be just reconnected instead of sending my out a box?

  • SATempest
Sam Tempest (@SATempest) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia Yep. Just been on hold for 1 hour 3 minutes and as soon as I got through it cut off. Sent multiple follow up WhatsApp messages and still nothing. You really need to sort out your customer service because I’ve been waiting 3 weeks just to get back into contact with someone!!!

  • CharlBalcombe
Charl Balcombe (@CharlBalcombe) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia Having serious disconnection issues with my WiFi (CF24) - is there anything that can be done? Can you help? WFH this week has been painful

  • Dazc090861
Darren Coomber (@Dazc090861) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia In Dec, you sent an email thanking me for making changes & what I'd get from now on & it'd cost over twice as much as I was paying. I never asked for any changes & in one of the many, calls I've made, I was told that your Oomph bundle department had shut around the same time.

  • lou_dare
Louise Dare (@lou_dare) reported from Ringland, Wales

@virginmedia we are having issues NP19 we’ve rebooted and checked wires.. been on and off now for few weeks. What’s going on please ??

  • thelee_x_w
lee williams (@thelee_x_w) reported from Cwmbran Central, Wales

Word of warning avoid @virginmedia 4 wifi like the plague. I rarely get even 20% of advertised speeds & the CS team are next 2 useless. Paying 4 daily disappointment that upsets the kids. Will never go back 2 them ever. Worst service I ave ever received @EE was so much better

  • cymboi
MH 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏳️‍🌈🇪🇺 #yescymru (@cymboi) reported from St. Julians, Wales

@virginmedia On hard wired, approx 250mbs out of 350mbs. It’s a hub 4 with new connectors added and bits of cable, but again I’m having to call support to see why our intellipods aren’t working.

  • Carl_E88
This is Carl🏳️‍🌈😺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🍕 (@Carl_E88) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia any chance of supporting existing customers, currently paying £32 a month but your offering new customers 25 a month. Helpline said nothing I can do as existing customer.

  • SATempest
Sam Tempest (@SATempest) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia But the team is impossible to contact!!! And when you do get in contact it’s always someone else’s problem, ‘oh I’ll just pass you onto my colleague’ etc. I’ve WhatsApped the help number too and been told it’s a long wait and told I can ‘get on with [my] day’ - absolute joke.

  • SteveMowat4
Steve Mowat (@SteveMowat4) reported from Weston-super-Mare, England

@bristolbluegas @virginmedia @HiveHelper If someone could own a problem it would help. The engineer that came out today said, I just install hubs mate, I’m not authorised to lift man hole covers. Virgin told me yesterday this would be their “priority technician” that could fix everything. What a joke

  • cherylockerby
cheryl (@cherylockerby) reported from Barry, Wales

@virginmedia I have an issue with some of my emails being returned undelivered and saying they are spam. This is causing me an issue. Can you help?

  • damianKerlin
damian Kerlin 🏳️‍🌈 (@damianKerlin) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia Yes, and it is a different issue every time. How, in a capital city, is this happening everyday, with your engineers unable to do anything to improve the situation. …and what about that refund, as we are paying for internet which we are not getting?

  • SATempest
Sam Tempest (@SATempest) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia I phoned THREE weeks ago to cancel our contact, there was a dispute over a cancellation fee. A manager was supposed to call me back, I’ve rang 5 times since to check as heard nothing- each time was told ‘within 48hrs’. Move out next Friday, what am I supposed to do????

  • welsh1lad
Rob Weaver (@welsh1lad) reported from Barry, Wales

@virginmedia Define active, if you mean do I have Service’s no , do I still use my email account yes.

@virginmedia your customer service is appalling. Keep being given the run around and no action. Hate to do it this way.

  • RogerGreen2009
    Roger Green (@RogerGreen2009) reported

@entrustTMF @virginmedia I got a ‘3’5g router that pulls down the 5g signal, it was as fast as my Virgin Media 200+gbps and more reliable. £25/month. If you’ve no 5g coverage starlink is offering £35 a month.

  • debbsno1
    LovelifeLoveLowe (@debbsno1) reported

@TheGriftReport Virgin media have been ringing me a lot, I dont answer, as I can NEVER understand the call handler, theyre also very impatient and rude. I pay my bill via direct debit on time, everytime, so , unless I've a problem to report I simply dont put myself through it, too stressful.

  • AaronHardy1994
    Aaron Hardy (@AaronHardy1994) reported

@whooithVT I pay that for half of that, damn virgin media

  • JustRusty
    Rusty Spoons (@JustRusty) reported

@virginmedia How vile. There is no amount outstanding on my account. It has been paid. The response I got from the credit file amendments team was to contact the credit file amendments team. So I'll just go to CISAS. You're even horrible on social media. No wonder your trust pilot is so low.

  • bish_limbu
    Bish Limbu (@bish_limbu) reported

Thank you Virgin Media for upgrading my hub … for spotting issues with my old one unilaterally, and doing all for free!

  • BryMillan
    Bryan Millan (@BryMillan) reported

Every Wednesday without fail from about 8:30pm we have an intermittent signal issue with @virginmedia, we pay enough not to have these issues every week. Get it sorted!

    Asa McGrath (@amcgrath1uk) reported

Well done @virginmedia . No internet or TV all day. Gone from saying it’s a known problem to saying it’s an issue our end. Nope. Bet the engineer who’s coming Wednesday won’t be needed as it’ll be miraculously fixed by then

  • newman_gareth
    Gareth Newman (@newman_gareth) reported

@virginmedia why is your broadband constantly so slow? Even in same room as router! Constant poor service
