@GillibrandPeter Virgin Media are - by a significant margin - the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of having to deal with. I literally don't think there's anything in the world that could ever convince me to go back to them.

@virginmedia I get your bills, that is how I realised as a loyal customer I am paying £40 plus a month for Internet access only. Fortunately for me and not for you BT Openreach have been installing fibre to home allowing me greater negotiating power as tou have no respect for loyalty.

@virginmedia Both those lights should be green. Any red lights mean there is a network fault either on a cable or on the box to which the cable screws into. Now please tell me, what is so difficult to send someone out to investigate that??

  • welshcuriosity

Upgrading to gigabit broadband meant getting a new router from VirginMedia, so took the opportunity to tidy up and remove old cabling and extension leads. Didn't realise just how much unused crap I still had plugged in/taking up space

  • FindlayEquality
Graham Findlay FRSA 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇪🇺 (@FindlayEquality) reported from Cathays, Wales

@rwilliams1947 @virginmedia It seems VM are also messing up landlines too. They now need to connect the phone cable to the Wi-Fi hub . Which means lots of trouble in my house and many other properties across the UK. And good luck with trying to discontinue their contract - they make it very difficult.

Do @EE have any actual humans, other than those on commission in sales, working for them? Almost as bad as Virgin Media, certainly worse than @BT who seemed to have taken the worst from both companies and merged. Are there no good comms companies out there?

  • ravipal1214
    Ravi Pal (@ravipal1214) reported

@virginmedia This was supposed to be an escalation, which turned out to be another utter waste of time. The team handling social doesn’t even check basics/fundamentals (like there is already a WiFi pod issued that doesn’t work) and in the end – outcome nothing – you have already logged a complaint therefore wait – you as a customer are not important to us, your situation doesn’t matter. I wonder if there was another choice of good broadband in this area why would anyone ever go with @Virgin.
