    @virginmedia I tried texting that number and got no answer. I just tried calling the helpline, was on hold for about 20 minutes, was asked for all my contact details and then your operator told me her system is down and I should call back in 2 hours!!

    @virginmedia @DannyHackett Had a moment around a decade ago where they sent me through the song and dance of rebooting etc. So I cut it short, told them to look at the signal levels. They did. We agreed that it’s not localised to my property, they fixed. No pointless faffing.

    @virginmedia @DannyHackett Be careful with the fob offs Danny - if it’s a connection problem (not your in house WiFi) then Virgin, as with any other cable company, can see your connection status from the modem to their services via DOCSIS and also should be able to see logs too 😉

    @virginmedia No, I didn’t get any estimates. Just a generic “we’re sorry you’re still having issues, our engineers are currently working on it but it’s taking longer than expected” (something along those lines at least).

    @DannyHackett @virginmedia If they’re saying it’s an area fault maybe the signal to the box isn’t within the acceptable conditions so it has to reconnect often. Same problem in Dartford but fixed on their end after several calls...

    @virginmedia Keep having problems where, every few days or so, the booster loses connectivity with the base unit, resulting in it outputting no internet connection. On top of that, the speeds are less than half that of the main router (350 - 500 Mbps on our Hub vs 150 Mbps from booster)

    @virginmedia come on virgin! My TiVo HD has gone. Been trying to get hold of “customer service” since Friday. Spending over an hour on hold 2 or 3 times a day. Website fault area sends me back to the same place. Absolute joke! Any deals available @SkyUK ???

    @virginmedia Listen I paid for the HD option, meaning I couldn't change channels to see if the other version was working, added to I shouldn't have needed to try another channel. Yes it went without issue for the main fight, but I couldnt watch any undercard fight but this was impossible

    @virginmedia This had nothing to do with the Joshua fight, it’s all the regular channels, all my @SkySports channels affected by it too. Every single day I have these problems. And when i do FINALLY get through to someone, it never fixes the problem. Horrendous service from a big company!

    @virginmedia Appalling customer service. I've been on the phone for 5 hours this week and cut off each time. My Wifi is unusable but can't speak to a technician, or customer service rep. Online chat is even worse with no response after 5 days.
