    @virginmedia It’s been going on for months, I have had all new boxes and hub but it still goes down. I have been told to keep my local engineer up to date. There is nothing the help desk can do we have tried everything

    @virginmedia Yes, I understand that. But after signing up to SMS updates four times via two methods, I’d expect to at least be receiving texts telling me that the fix times have been pushed back.

    @virginmedia Yes, I understand that issues happen, but it would be nice to know more than just “we’re currently having issues”. If someone told me “a bolt of lightning from that thunderstorm you had hit the cabinet and fried it” or something, we’d probably be a lot more understanding.

    @virginmedia new broadband routers now working, speeds dropped massively when I can get internet, tried for 14 minutes to get through to your customer service (being charged thanks for that) and can’t get access to my account as your team registered my email address wrong. Help!

    As my @virginmedia bill is now creeping up towads 130pcm I called to cancel or negotiate. A small discount was offered. I was surprised how little effort was made to retain a customer. (‘OK, thank you for calling’). So I’ll have to switch.

    @virginmedia We had a 6 day internet outage at the end of July. I’ve just got the bill for next month and there are no credits on it to account for the outage - we’re still being charged the same amount.

    @virginmedia Both wired and not, advised to turn off and back on, diagnostics checked at your end, engineer visit, resulted in all new v6 boxes (x2) and a new internet hub also internal wiring checked and re-connected. Issue seemed to be resolved for a while but after then goes off altogether

    @virginmedia Our internet has been down completely since early this morning (not intermittently like the automated message is suggesting) and I still don’t know if it’s a problem in the area, or just our own property.

    @BBCTech And when you do get through to their broadband support the response is absolutely useless as their automatic system 'fixes it' at times then hangs up. If not fixed you can only enter the loop again. @virginmedia

    @virginmedia No. at times total drop out, green light flashing on the router. Been through this many times, same questions, never fixed. I was asked for specific info some time ago. I provided it and never heard from you again.

    @virginmedia I have been getting intermittent loss of WiFi occasionally, rarer than it was but maybe I just haven't noticed. I have had "sending a signal to your router" a couple of times, an engineer moved my router once, but not improved. Nobody else can provide fast broadband here though

    @drapes15 @virginmedia Nah never knew you had their box for the telly, they increase the broadband duration and reduce it cutting out and that. You’d still need the tv box from Virgin but if you have any bother with your signal in the garden go for them

    @virginmedia Is there an outage in the EN2 area? Flashing green power light on router and constant green WiFi light. All connections are fine. Been down for over 2 hours now.
