Benjamin Hartrey (@benj8min) reported from Cardiff, Wales@virginmedia It doesn't. No changes made. I had major problems setting this up, it went through someone in your complaints department and they had to do something manual to set the package I was on up. Clearly, even they are incapable. I've had TV for a few months, then it's just gone off.

johntleberry (@hassinator) reportedlove this. all that capitalist guff about 'the consumer is king' it's just another lie. we are marks and the tories let us get shaken down by brands. glad to see those rats at @virginmedia held to account but they should be paying compensation too.
-
SAVE LAMMAS PARK (@SharonBewley) reported@virginmedia No thanks - I have supplied all the information you require to address the issue
-
Vicky 💙 (@deadstar37) reported@virginmedia help! We have 2 boxes on 2 different tvs in two rooms. They’re not in sync with each other. So if we’re watching the same channel have the kitchen door open the tv in there is delayed to the one in the front room (not much fun if you’re watching quizzes.
-
Adrian Oso (@AdrianOso7) reported@virginmedia I've sent private messages and they just ask me to call VM and get an engineer in. The engineer's conclusion seems to be that it's not worth the effort to extend the network by 10 metres, via a footpath which I own. And that's bang in the centre of a village right outside London.
-
m (@RamsbottomMark) reported@cxdi55 @skytv @SkyHelpTeam got the same with virgin media ..needs a regulation like with car insurance where they have to offer you the same deal as a new customer

(Re)Search & Destroy (@TruthAsylum121) reportedTHREAD 8 — THE DEVICES Connectivity is only useful if people have something to connect. This takes us to Solidaritech in Bradford. The organisation was established in 2017 to refurbish unwanted technology and provide it to refugees and asylum seekers. It works with laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphones. The cumulative figure is now more than 5,000 devices since 2017. But that isn’t simply historical. Solidaritech is still operating. In 2025, Bechtle partnered with Solidaritech to repurpose 857 devices, including phones, laptops, PCs and tablets, which were donated to asylum seekers and refugees. Then there is Migrant Help. Through Community Calling, smartphones and free data have been provided specifically for asylum seekers and survivors of trafficking and modern slavery. Virgin Media O2 reported that Migrant Help had received 1,250 devices and free data, with a further 5,000 devices planned. Screen Share UK also received funding to provide devices, connectivity and repair training to refugees and asylum seekers. Its trainees then repaired and redistributed devices to other refugees. The device itself has therefore become part of an ongoing system. Technology is collected. It is refurbished. It is connected. It is distributed. And sometimes the recipient is taught how to repair the next device.

Simone-Lee Deal (@StiffNips2) reported@JimMooreJourno CEO is too busy counting his £1 mil package to give a ****, and Burnham shows no interest in dealing with it. Amazing that it's a merry-go-round of useless bastards buggering up companies; he used to be at British Gas, equal only to Virgin Media for dissatisfied customers.
