@virginmedia why does it take so long to get through to your cancellation team or is there that many people getting rid of your services due to the shocking customer service!

  • AChinnick90 Andrew Chinnick (@AChinnick90) reported from Cardiff, Wales

    @RSpencer100 @virginmedia TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • mikeenea Michael Enea (@mikeenea) reported from St. Julians, Wales

@virginmedia down yet again. Last month, the broadband has gone to shite. Very frustrating. Seriously giving thought to switch supplier now (first time in 10 years).

  • IDLLAP Ian Davies 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🇪🇺 🏳️‍🌈 #IDIC 🖖🏻 (@IDLLAP) reported from Cwmbran Central, Wales

@virginmedia after your poor installation at my brother's house, cable running across the hallway, you now want to charge him to put your mistake right. He shouldn't be charged for your engineer leaving a trip hazard

  • EllenParker6 Ellen Parker (@EllenParker6) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia 4 month countdown to get rid of you your customer service is beyond rude. Your technical support is lacking in manners and availability. @SkyUK we are on our way back sorry for leaving biggest mistake ever. We may have saved £20 but not worth the shit service

  • philmonkey Phil Rogers (@philmonkey) reported from Ponthir, Wales

@virginmedia @DannyHackett Be careful with the fob offs Danny - if it’s a connection problem (not your in house WiFi) then Virgin, as with any other cable company, can see your connection status from the modem to their services via DOCSIS and also should be able to see logs too 😉

  • rhysmorgan Rhys Morgan (@rhysmorgan) reported from Cardiff, Wales

I s2g, Virgin Media’s boosters are SO awful

  • philmonkey Phil Rogers (@philmonkey) reported from Ponthir, Wales

@virginmedia @DannyHackett Had a moment around a decade ago where they sent me through the song and dance of rebooting etc. So I cut it short, told them to look at the signal levels. They did. We agreed that it’s not localised to my property, they fixed. No pointless faffing.

  • cardiffsworker Ann-Marie B 🧜🏻‍♀️💃🏻🎓⭐️ (@cardiffsworker) reported from Cardiff, Wales

  • GarethWHeating Gareth Williams (@GarethWHeating) reported from Newport, Wales

@virginmedia I was told there was a problem with the cell that has now been rectified. There was nothing at all wrong with the phone but it cuts out all the time. Always has...

    @AllyMcG4 @virginmedia That’s terrible

  • reddevil1975 Leanne Everest (@reddevil1975) reported from Barry, Wales

@virginmedia Why is my ITV wales signal down yet again. Thank god for Channel 853 or I would be missing my fave #loosewomen

  • jade_steer Jade (@jade_steer) reported from Cardiff, Wales

never normally tweet about this stuff but can’t let this one go. just had the absolute worst customer service experience with @virginmedia. horrendously snappy, rude, and impatient (even sighed at having to deal with our problem!)

  • LouisPMertens Louis Mertens (@LouisPMertens) reported from Cardiff, Wales

1/2 My exp. with @VirginMedia has been a farce involving incorrect contract lengths, engineers insisting my package can't be installed bc customer service sold me a service that doesn't exist, phone calls from Virgin saying the engineers are wrong...

  • philmonkey Phil Rogers (@philmonkey) reported from Ponthir, Wales

@DannyHackett @virginmedia If they’re saying it’s an area fault maybe the signal to the box isn’t within the acceptable conditions so it has to reconnect often. Same problem in Dartford but fixed on their end after several calls...

  • cardiffsworker Ann-Marie B 🧜🏻‍♀️💃🏻🎓⭐️ (@cardiffsworker) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia Needs must 😁but would appreciate virgin sorting the problem asap

  • BeckyyBuzz Becky...xx (@BeckyyBuzz) reported from Newport, Wales

@virginmedia I now know what the issue was. I w contacted by a fake virgin account

  • IAmMartJohn Mart Verallo John (@IAmMartJohn) reported from Cardiff, Wales

I know I'm flogging a dead horse where with this customer service tweets. But I've spent a collective hour and a half on hold trying to cancel @virginmedia as they only let you do it through the phone, but don't actually pick up. Genius idea really

  • apollobarc apollo barcelon (@apollobarc) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia i was promised that my broadband service will be ok today no internet service since friday and i come home today still no service i have been using up all my data on my phone

  • rhysmorgan Rhys Morgan (@rhysmorgan) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia Keep having problems where, every few days or so, the booster loses connectivity with the base unit, resulting in it outputting no internet connection. On top of that, the speeds are less than half that of the main router (350 - 500 Mbps on our Hub vs 150 Mbps from booster)

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • junkie_wannabe josh. (@junkie_wannabe) reported

@virginmedia I've just done this and it says the signal is great, of course this is only after the wifi has come back on. No faults or anything when I'm testing it but it's losing connection constantly and turning the tv on still causes the whole wifi to go off.

  • hayleyc57611078 hayley carey 💙 (@hayleyc57611078) reported

@virginmedia still no service in Cornwall , tried rebooting . Can you advise when this will be back up and running please ?

  • Danjsalt Dan Salt (@Danjsalt) reported

@mk270 @virginmedia Literally bereft where to even start to be honest - I have never dealt with a company that is so dysfunctional

  • HappyMommaWilco Hannah Williamson (@HappyMommaWilco) reported

@virginmedia We have approximately 1/3 of the tv channels we pay £70 a month for, I’ve rung on many occasions to tell you and the lady I actually got through to after calling 7 times, by off chance told me she could see I had a problem, couldn’t refund me though!...

  • DavidRi49970339 David Richardson | Rocksteady Dev (@DavidRi49970339) reported

@virginmedia I have got the oomph bundle for almost a year now and still never recieved the sim card. Its been very frustrating to try and get to talk to someone that can fix this for me. I have managed to talk to someone some months ago but was just told to wait it out again. Stop using bots

  • LisaMRH Lisa Hill (@LisaMRH) reported

@virginmedia am disappointed in the service I received today. Was calling to get a new contract but the offers for existing customers (even with Blue Light Card) are just rubbish. Off to investigate other providers. 😢

  • beccagraham6 Rebecca (@beccagraham6) reported

@virginmedia No I was never able to register for online account as did not have my account number to do so. Other than the box being sent to me I’ve had no other communication from virgin

  • ChrisPinnell2 Chris Pinnell (@ChrisPinnell2) reported

@virginmedia #virginmediadown #CustomerService Virgin services down yet not a mention on Twitter , surely obvious pace to update people! Yet another example of yr appalling service

  • portugamerifinn portugamerifinn (@portugamerifinn) reported

@virginmedia Yes, I do if/when the hub keeps resetting on its own or when all my devices suddenly can't connect to wifi even though the hub claims to still have a signal (usually right before it drops & resets anyway) It works, but the frequency of the hub rebooting on its own is the issue

  • SprintingTaylor Sean Taylor (@SprintingTaylor) reported

@virginmedia can you look at the poor network reliability in NN15 please? Yet again our internet is down. Last Friday the connection was so poor we teathered from a @ThreeUK mobile to GoogleMeet friends as your service was unuseable.
