    @virginmedia Yes, I understand that issues happen, but it would be nice to know more than just “we’re currently having issues”. If someone told me “a bolt of lightning from that thunderstorm you had hit the cabinet and fried it” or something, we’d probably be a lot more understanding.

    @virginmedia We had a 6 day internet outage at the end of July. I’ve just got the bill for next month and there are no credits on it to account for the outage - we’re still being charged the same amount.

    As my @virginmedia bill is now creeping up towads 130pcm I called to cancel or negotiate. A small discount was offered. I was surprised how little effort was made to retain a customer. (‘OK, thank you for calling’). So I’ll have to switch.

    @virginmedia Both wired and not, advised to turn off and back on, diagnostics checked at your end, engineer visit, resulted in all new v6 boxes (x2) and a new internet hub also internal wiring checked and re-connected. Issue seemed to be resolved for a while but after then goes off altogether

    @virginmedia It’s been going on for months, I have had all new boxes and hub but it still goes down. I have been told to keep my local engineer up to date. There is nothing the help desk can do we have tried everything

    @virginmedia Yes, I understand that. But after signing up to SMS updates four times via two methods, I’d expect to at least be receiving texts telling me that the fix times have been pushed back.

    This morning @virginmedia message, announcing new bot to help me. New bot 'destined for can't read older messages, new bot won't put me in touch with human, new but asks me to reframe message, new bot then seems to shut down, no response for 20+ minutes.

    @virginmedia Thanks for reply. I’ve had continued bad performance for weeks when using Audio on zoom. Other use ok but not great generally but certainly not getting 350 mbps. Wired - yes, ok with Ethernet cable but that’s only practical for devices next to router that are Ethernet capable

    @virginmedia They have changed the hub and asked me to monitor which i've done but my net keeps disconnecting for few seconds and then comes back on. The engineer gave me his number and said i should contact him which i did but he never came back.poor poor service
