  • tibbo133no David Tibbs (@tibbo133no) reported from Cardiff, Wales

  • JeffHopkinsCDF Jeff Hopkins Cardiff (@JeffHopkinsCDF) reported from Cardiff, Wales

  • CraigAllan5 Craig Allan (@CraigAllan5) reported from Clevedon, England

@virginmedia shocking service so far. Ordered our broadband a month in advance of our house move as is essential because we’re both working from home. Been in a week and had delivery of my hub but still not able to connect. Advice is always just to wait and it will come online.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Minky_monkey Minky (@Minky_monkey) reported

@virginmedia @LutzSchueler shocking level of staff competence. Any customer service that results in my partner having an anxiety attack cannot be good. Shame, we've always had good service in the last 20 years.

  • Forman5Craig Craig Forman (@Forman5Craig) reported

@virginmedia Im at a loss to understand why Virgin Media added Netflix to my account without my authorisation yet claim only Netflix can cancel it. I already have an existing contract with Netflix. Lots of hassle and expense I can do without purely down to an error from Virgin Media

  • rykyuby Rykyuby (@rykyuby) reported

@virginmedia so we spoke to one of your staff and stated that we're being charged too much and being undercut for service you promised 125mbps but we were getting 90mbps and they just hung up on us we were being respectable and this is how we get treated? this is unacceptable

  • DannyCosmos5 Danny (@DannyCosmos5) reported

@virginmedia @50cent @lionsgateplusuk I’m still receiving updates via text from you on an outage. I’ve already told you this is illegal and I don’t want to receive them. If you don’t remove my number immediately I will be reporting you to the ICO

  • jackaroberts95 Jack Roberts (@jackaroberts95) reported

@skytv agree to match another provider for my contract renewal, only to then up the price two weeks later to more than what I was paying before. What are my rights to cancel? Might be worth looking @virginmedia after all…

  • Forman5Craig Craig Forman (@Forman5Craig) reported

@virginmedia I made a service call on 9th January as there was a technical issue. This was the date Netflix was added, without any discussion at all about Netflix. Why would I add a service I already pay for? Doesn’t make sense

  • Kevin_OHara76 Kevin O'Hara (@Kevin_OHara76) reported

  • madiave0 Angela Atherton (@madiave0) reported

@virginmedia No, just states I live in a busy area and to bear with you as you are aware. This has been an issue for months and quite frankly I don't want to bear with you any longer. I'm paying for a service that is unavailable. I had better coverage in Paris a few weeks ago!

  • Grmbles Graham Smith (@Grmbles) reported

have really enjoyed how often @virginmedia have called me as a valued customer to ask if i want to pay more (almost twice as much) for my internet connection than a new customer. really makes me feel very valued.
