Sam Tempest (@SATempest) reported from Cardiff, Wales@virginmedia Can I just ask why it is that you can respond within minutes on social media (where the public can see your actions) but then in private you are ignoring your customers and taking three weeks to deal with issues? If you have agents manning twitter why can’t you pick up the phone?

-
andy lanyon (@andylance1977) reported from Newport, WalesProperly for the best part of a yr doesn't seem a problem to yourselves but your quite happy to take out monthly payment for a service we're paying for but you're not providing & seem to be in no hurry to provide it. Disgraceful service @virginmedia
-
Darren Coomber (@Dazc090861) reported from Cardiff, Wales@virginmedia Firstly a refund of £351 for the Mobile part of the Oomph bundle as it was stopped a couple of months after starting the contract..still not paid to me! -
Monkenstien. (@3_monk) reported from Beechwood, Wales@virginmedia I get your bills, that is how I realised as a loyal customer I am paying £40 plus a month for Internet access only. Fortunately for me and not for you BT Openreach have been installing fibre to home allowing me greater negotiating power as tou have no respect for loyalty.

-
Sam Tempest (@SATempest) reported from Cardiff, Wales@virginmedia But the team is impossible to contact!!! And when you do get in contact it’s always someone else’s problem, ‘oh I’ll just pass you onto my colleague’ etc. I’ve WhatsApped the help number too and been told it’s a long wait and told I can ‘get on with [my] day’ - absolute joke.
-
Trudi Foster (@MsWhippet1) reported from St. Julians, Wales@virginmedia I was told to wait in this morning between 8am - 12pm for an engineer to fix my broadband. It's now 2pm and no sign of an engineer. I was told I'd be charged £25 if I missed the appointment. I think I should charge you for having to hang around for 6 hours waiting.
-
MaartenX. (@MaartenSleeckx) reported from Victoria, Wales@virginmedia Clearly not as the issue keeps coming back after multiple engineer fixes outside AND in my home. You're lying through your teeth and leaving me in the dark literally. Stop hiding behind "standard business" replies, be human and help me.
-
𝗣S. (@philscully) reported from Cardiff, Wales@virginmedia But im asking what would be different to the other times where ive just wasted hours of my day for nothing to change? We have called numerous times only to be told there is no problem or to reset. No other assitance is ever offered
-
Sam Tempest (@SATempest) reported from Cardiff, Wales@virginmedia hello I’ve supposedly been transferred to the Customer Relations messaging team on WhatsApp but have been waiting since 2pm yesterday for an agent to get back to me, how much longer can I be expected to wait? Thanks

-
A.Brown (@_DundeePerfect_) reported@timtam1888 @heid_the_baw_ @virginmedia The problem many have with connection Speeds in other Rooms has partly nothing to do with the size of the Router, it is down to using wifi and not wired by Cable. All rooms for best results need wired, my own wifi I can't even get sat outside my own House never mind game with it.
-
Craig Sutton (@CraigSu66242369) reported@virginmedia @alexand979677 Customers shouldn't have to compromise. We have all paid for a service which we are currently not getting. It's a disgrace really considering the cost. Maybe time for a change.
-
Meersham (@Schmuley_Schlo) reported@heid_the_baw_ @virginmedia I chose plusnet because their customer service is good, never had much trouble been with them for years now after switching every couple of years
-

Lisa (@LisaPatten2) reported@virginmedia nearly 24 hours with no TV channels and the fix time is 28th August. What am i supposed to do for the next 8 days? What exactly am I paying 150 quid a month for?
-
Gary Adams (@GazzaAdams) reported@virginmedia I need this escalated as a formal complaint regarding fault **F012421201**, because the information Virgin Media is providing has now become demonstrably contradictory. At **08:01 today, 20 August**, Virgin Media told me: “Our engineer is on site and they're working to fix the problem.” The estimated repair time given was **18:00 today**. At **15:27 today**, after I have been without service for most of the day, Virgin Media has now told me: “We have identified the problem and an engineer is on their way.” The estimated repair time has also been moved to **14:10 tomorrow, 21 August**. These statements cannot both accurately describe the progress of the same fault. An engineer who was already **on site and working on the problem at 08:01** cannot subsequently be **“on their way” at 15:27** without some explanation. I fully understand that a complex network fault may take longer to repair than initially anticipated, and that estimated restoration times can change. That is not my complaint. My complaint is that Virgin Media is repeatedly providing contradictory factual information about the status of the repair, while I remain without the service I am paying for. I consequently have no confidence in the estimated restoration times being provided. Please therefore: 1. **Log this as a formal complaint and provide me with the complaint reference.** 2. Confirm the actual current status of fault **F012421201**, rather than repeating the automated status information. 3. Explain how an engineer could be reported as on site and working at 08:01 but “on their way” at 15:27. 4. Confirm when the outage affecting my service officially began and that the full period of loss of service has been recorded against my account. 5. Confirm what automatic compensation I will be entitled to for the complete loss of service, where applicable. I have retained screenshots of the outage updates and their timestamps. Please respond to the specific points above rather than sending me another automated repair estimate.

Paddy Stavros (@PaddyStavros69) reported@Carolestfc1 @virginmedia Bang on Carole, unacceptably poor from @virginmedia. Ditch the standard robotic replies, either sort it out for Carole pronto or sort out a refund AND a goodwill financial gesture. 👊🏼
