Word of warning avoid @virginmedia 4 wifi like the plague. I rarely get even 20% of advertised speeds & the CS team are next 2 useless. Paying 4 daily disappointment that upsets the kids. Will never go back 2 them ever. Worst service I ave ever received @EE was so much better

  • gillih
Gill Harrison (@gillih) reported from Portishead and North Weston, England

@virginmedia Nothing on there - just a lot of people with same issue! I’ve changed my password, run a security scan and still not getting emails or able to send. What do you suggest I do now please?? @VirginMediaCorp @virginmedia

NATALIE BALL 🛡️ (@Natalieball1984) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia hi, over a month ago now I was told that I would receive a cheque through the post with my refund! A refund I should of got 3months ago! Virgin Media's customer service is the worst I've ever experienced!

  • djleekee
Lee Smith/DJ Leekee (@djleekee) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia I think it was more a BBC source issue rather than VM wide. The lip sync is just every so slightly out but seemed very put on strictly last night

  • Samanth82113398
Samantha (@Samanth82113398) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia Hi can someone help me I'm trying to log in to my account but keeps saying there's a problem at your end

  • SewScandalous
Katieeeeeeeeeeeee 👻 (@SewScandalous) reported from Newport, Wales

Oh, looks like @virginmedia have disconnected my service 7 days before they were meant to 🙄 Absolute rubbish.

  • RedhillsAnnie
Pauline Lomax (@RedhillsAnnie) reported from Cardiff, Wales

Alleluia @virginmedia Just taken one month to have most issues resolved. Feedback: less silos in customer service so they can see all issues and be more helpful.

  • j_bettany
Jacob (@j_bettany) reported from Clevedon, England

So many scammers calling from '@VirginMedia Technical Support' at the moment. 5 in 24 hours. I've taken to suggesting they might think about getting a different job but heartbreaking to get the response, 'can you give me one?' It's basically #organisedcrime built on #poverty

  • BackOnTrack__
Right Direction (@BackOnTrack__) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia still waiting since 7.30 am for the engineer to come to sort out the problems we are having, he’s 25 minutes to get here ( we were given 7.30-13 slot) still no tv since Thursday!

  • gillih
Gill Harrison (@gillih) reported from Portishead and North Weston, England

@virginmedia I have got this sorted with your team now. Helpful person. But I suggest changing your auto system to give callers an idea of wait time. Better customer service.

  • SATempest
Sam Tempest (@SATempest) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia Can I just ask why it is that you can respond within minutes on social media (where the public can see your actions) but then in private you are ignoring your customers and taking three weeks to deal with issues? If you have agents manning twitter why can’t you pick up the phone?

  • benj8min
Benjamin Hartrey (@benj8min) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia It doesn't. No changes made. I had major problems setting this up, it went through someone in your complaints department and they had to do something manual to set the package I was on up. Clearly, even they are incapable. I've had TV for a few months, then it's just gone off.

  • jonny_ex9

Imagine my shock that @virginmedia is down AGAIN. Please fix it

  • MaartenSleeckx
MaartenX. (@MaartenSleeckx) reported from Victoria, Wales

@virginmedia Clearly not as the issue keeps coming back after multiple engineer fixes outside AND in my home. You're lying through your teeth and leaving me in the dark literally. Stop hiding behind "standard business" replies, be human and help me.

  • Paulyb65
Paul Burnell (@Paulyb65) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia really frustrating morning. First day back from the holidays, stacks to do and internet has been down from minute I signed in!! Really need this back up ASAP!!

  • welshcuriosity
Jordan (@welshcuriosity) reported from Cardiff, Wales

Upgrading to gigabit broadband meant getting a new router from VirginMedia, so took the opportunity to tidy up and remove old cabling and extension leads. Didn't realise just how much unused crap I still had plugged in/taking up space

  • NobbyD27
Rob Downer (@NobbyD27) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@syeporter180 @virginmedia I’m on virgin and it’s not that great Sye, I was going to sky before I renewed but had the same problem as you because I’d of had to wait months for BT to install a cable so just stuck to the devil I know in the end

  • BackOnTrack__
Right Direction (@BackOnTrack__) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia you absolutely SUCK! Sick to death of the poor service you are providing. No TV at all and having to wait 3 days fir a technician and yet you will still charge us, I’m FUMING!

  • BackOnTrack__
Right Direction (@BackOnTrack__) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia I’m fuming! We were lied to by their customer service , promised an engineer this an no one turned up now been told by customer service that we won’t have one until tomorrow #nithoodenough

@virginmedia You should be compensating 33% of daily contract price per day of outage. If not maybe if enough customers group together and approach CISAS then they’ll force you to compensate for loss of service plus interest.
