Phoned @virginmedia to see what they can do about a payment holiday since we are forced to remain closed for the foreseeable and obviously not using any of our broadband services. They offered a discount of half a months bill. Wow. The worst company we have spoken to so far 😰

@Annabanana8008 @virginmedia @O2 Good luck to you and don't take any sh*t, you should be fully compensated for the absolute inconvenience. We had a little problem with our provider and they where excellent, understood the issue and before we asked they compensated us.

@virginmedia To be honest the telephone support from call centre was very poor. No answer to my request about customers who are vulnerable and who else I could talk to. Just “wait another 72 hours” .....It was email, Facebook and twitter messages that helped

@virginmedia WiFi across house very slow. The internet access was tested with cable ached to router. Internet speed good but Unable to open 2 government website WiFi signal around house was poor 5 recorded during Speedtests. Restarted Router x2. Turn off PC firewall. Still websites not work

@RiotAngeI Ye virgin media’s been a ***** the last few days 🙈 they’ve released a statement saying that VM customers are using the internet more often than normal with everyone being home due to the lockdown that it’s having problems keeping up to speed, so not much they can do really 👎🏻🤣

@virginmedia Have upgraded the service and in theory should be able to run an official but I've been having problems with my router for weeks. It's not working properly and barely allows me to watch Netflix! I'm a critical worker and this isn't helping. Can't speak to anyone!!

@virginmedia Awful service. Are you actually able to help over Twitter? I phoned on Saturday, told an engineer was booked for 12th Sep, no confirmation. Phoned today, told engineer is now booked for 10th... will I get confirmation? I doubt it. Will I cancel my services if I don't get it? Yes!

@virginmedia No faults are being identified. When I use that link it normally says there’s an issue and to come back in 24 hours to book a technician. There are no different lights, my pc is directly plugged into my router under the desk so these issues shouldn’t be happening.
