  • EllenParker6 Ellen Parker (@EllenParker6) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia 4 month countdown to get rid of you your customer service is beyond rude. Your technical support is lacking in manners and availability. @SkyUK we are on our way back sorry for leaving biggest mistake ever. We may have saved £20 but not worth the shit service

  • AChinnick90 Andrew Chinnick (@AChinnick90) reported from Cardiff, Wales

    @RSpencer100 @virginmedia TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • IDLLAP Ian Davies 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🇪🇺 🏳️‍🌈 #IDIC 🖖🏻 (@IDLLAP) reported from Cwmbran Central, Wales

@virginmedia after your poor installation at my brother's house, cable running across the hallway, you now want to charge him to put your mistake right. He shouldn't be charged for your engineer leaving a trip hazard

  • hannahughes Hannah Hughes (@hannahughes) reported from Cardiff, Wales

It is beginning to look like @virginmedia have fraudulently sold us a package that was not available to me due to the many reasons that your various customer service team members mentioned before they hung up by putting me on “hold” and made me ring back...

  • reddevil1975 Leanne Everest (@reddevil1975) reported from Barry, Wales

@virginmedia Why is my ITV wales signal down yet again. Thank god for Channel 853 or I would be missing my fave #loosewomen

  • Dumbo7713 Dumbo (@Dumbo7713) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@garycymro @virginmedia Try TB home hub I'm with virgin there shit

  • philmonkey Phil Rogers (@philmonkey) reported from Ponthir, Wales

@DannyHackett @virginmedia If they’re saying it’s an area fault maybe the signal to the box isn’t within the acceptable conditions so it has to reconnect often. Same problem in Dartford but fixed on their end after several calls...

  • LouisPMertens Louis Mertens (@LouisPMertens) reported from Cardiff, Wales

1/2 My exp. with @VirginMedia has been a farce involving incorrect contract lengths, engineers insisting my package can't be installed bc customer service sold me a service that doesn't exist, phone calls from Virgin saying the engineers are wrong...

  • cardiffsworker Ann-Marie B 🧜🏻‍♀️💃🏻🎓⭐️ (@cardiffsworker) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia omg going to miss @C4Gogglebox no C4 on virgin media #help

  • tonyboyXV Anthony Malfatti (@tonyboyXV) reported from Barry, Wales

    @AllyMcG4 @virginmedia That’s terrible

  • rhysmorgan Rhys Morgan (@rhysmorgan) reported from Cardiff, Wales

I s2g, Virgin Media’s boosters are SO awful

  • IAmMartJohn Mart Verallo John (@IAmMartJohn) reported from Cardiff, Wales

I know I'm flogging a dead horse where with this customer service tweets. But I've spent a collective hour and a half on hold trying to cancel @virginmedia as they only let you do it through the phone, but don't actually pick up. Genius idea really

  • rhysmorgan Rhys Morgan (@rhysmorgan) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia Keep having problems where, every few days or so, the booster loses connectivity with the base unit, resulting in it outputting no internet connection. On top of that, the speeds are less than half that of the main router (350 - 500 Mbps on our Hub vs 150 Mbps from booster)

  • mikeenea Michael Enea (@mikeenea) reported from St. Julians, Wales

@virginmedia down yet again. Last month, the broadband has gone to shite. Very frustrating. Seriously giving thought to switch supplier now (first time in 10 years).

  • philmonkey Phil Rogers (@philmonkey) reported from Ponthir, Wales

@virginmedia @DannyHackett Be careful with the fob offs Danny - if it’s a connection problem (not your in house WiFi) then Virgin, as with any other cable company, can see your connection status from the modem to their services via DOCSIS and also should be able to see logs too 😉

  • philmonkey Phil Rogers (@philmonkey) reported from Ponthir, Wales

@virginmedia @DannyHackett Had a moment around a decade ago where they sent me through the song and dance of rebooting etc. So I cut it short, told them to look at the signal levels. They did. We agreed that it’s not localised to my property, they fixed. No pointless faffing.

  • jade_steer Jade (@jade_steer) reported from Cardiff, Wales

never normally tweet about this stuff but can’t let this one go. just had the absolute worst customer service experience with @virginmedia. horrendously snappy, rude, and impatient (even sighed at having to deal with our problem!)

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Danielson_1991 Daniel Thompson (@Danielson_1991) reported

@virginmedia I've been through all this before, I've spent over an hour with the tech team, even had an engineer out. All I want is a pod to boost the signal of the WiFi upstairs

  • apisol1 Apisol (@apisol1) reported

@virginmedia @simon_goodyear Also, make sure to note when you made the complaint and if they don't respond within 28 days, escalate the complaint to CISAS.

  • lauriejanewest LJ (@lauriejanewest) reported

@virginmedia I have an engineer at the premises now hoping to resolve all issues 🤞

  • apisol1 Apisol (@apisol1) reported

@TaskinChowdhury @virginmedia Register a complaint and ask for compensation due to the lack of service provision - if they don't respond within 28 days then escalate to CISAS.

  • chrisypoop chris (@chrisypoop) reported

@virginmedia laughable service, no one able to advise me why a technician was cancelled, why my broadband is down, offer 'inconvenience payments or wait until after the issue is resolved to have a 'deadlock letter' - to top it off a manger then hangs up on you...

  • dont_be_hasty 🅹🅴🅽🅽🆈 (@dont_be_hasty) reported

@virginmedia my Internet isnt working. I have green flashing arrows on my router. Rebooted 4 times still the same. What do I do know. I'm working from home and relying on your service.

  • sheena900 Sheena Raichura (@sheena900) reported

@virginmedia Via both. Its just very slow and I have intermittent connectivity.

  • simon_goodyear Simon Goodyear (@simon_goodyear) reported

@virginmedia So, you want £215 disconnection charge because I can’t get Virgin services at my new property? I don’t think so! RIP OFF! Plus how can anyone give 30 days notice when moving? I’ve had poor broadband service for 12 months. Now this!

  • apisol1 Apisol (@apisol1) reported

@virginmedia @Serena_Durrant0 You don't contact complaints back and hope it becomes more trouble than it's worth to continue. CISAS will give £50-200 for inconvenience but it costs more in labour time to get it due to Virgin intentionally ignoring complaints.

  • tappinator Nick Tapper (@tappinator) reported

@virginmedia We’re still having issues locally. Even the TV has been cutting out. Internet is on / off / on / off. Very, very frustrating as I am working from home.
