  • GreggC_CC Gregg 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@GreggC_CC) reported from Newport, Wales

@jackfb22 @btsport @btsportrugby @virginmedia Glad it's on channel 4 too today. Even if it's not so good commentary. Has to be a feed issue somewhere, because the adverts were fine.

  • michaelck1972 Michael (@michaelck1972) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia I shall be raising a complaint yes. No attempt to find out if the router is faulty, just trying to sell more services. You have failed to deliver against your contract and the customer service is shocking. My complaint shall go to OFCOM also @Ofcom

  • michaelck1972 Michael (@michaelck1972) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@preospurs @virginmedia They’re in breach of their contract with the service so I will have a right to cancel.

  • michaelck1972 Michael (@michaelck1972) reported from Cardiff, Wales

Worst customer service in the world. No attempt to diagnose or resolve an issue. Just try to upsell! #awful #broadband #virginmedia

  • michaelck1972 Michael (@michaelck1972) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia It’s supposed to be a 100Mbps service but it’s rarely at that speed. No WiFi in the kitchen (5meters away) and in the bedrooms upstairs. It’s th worst WiFi I’ve had in years. Kids can’t use PS4 in the room directly next to the one with the router in it.

  • michaelck1972 Michael (@michaelck1972) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia It’s always this poor. Just a poor service from you. Completely inconsistent and the WiFi is a joke. A reboot makes no difference.

  • michaelck1972 Michael (@michaelck1972) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia I shared the screen prints of what they said. No attempt was made to diagnose or resolve. Only to sell boosters despite me advising them I have major WiFi issues. I’ve kept all the messages and you did bring but try to con me out of more money. And now you call me a liar!!

  • MJSwindlehurst Matthew Swindlehurst (@MJSwindlehurst) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@jordanjaylam @virginmedia @richardbranson I am experiencing the same problem Jordan. Pay £3 a month extra for boosters that don’t work, as well as WiFi that doesn’t connect to all the rooms, liberty! Hope your problem gets resolved soon.

  • SimonLemons47 Simon Evans (@SimonLemons47) reported from Cardiff, Wales

    @peteclase @btsport @virginmedia Yes it’s awful. Gone to @Channel4 instead. @btsportrugby @btsport aren’t bothered it seems #EDIvMUN

  • EmmaRya61456992 Emma Ryan (@EmmaRya61456992) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia And that’s been the consistent problem, you’re one organisation who fail to talk to your own internal departments! Not what us Customers want! Very poor Customer service 😡@TomMockridgeVM

  • williams_dai Dai Williams (@williams_dai) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia Hi, so pissed of with @virginmedia I’m writing formally to your Customer Services Director. Also talking to BBC Radio 4’s You & Yours consumer programme. So will hope to sort it via one if those routes. @richardbranson

  • pontyboi daniel james lewis (@pontyboi) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@itvMLshow how do I go about getting a refund for a misold contract from @virginmedia I told them I was moving house during contract but they said the area would be covered which its not & have now been charged a cancellation fee of £177. Customer service has been dreadful.

  • SheilaDuers Sheila Duers#GermanyPlus (@SheilaDuers) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia Never watched either and never will.

  • pontyboi daniel james lewis (@pontyboi) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia I have called this number twice but am still awaiting a further call back. It is shocking that a company can charge such high fees especially as I was told when taking the contract moving house would not cause any issues. If you would wish to call me directly please dm me.

  • pimlights Paul Middleton (@pimlights) reported from Newport, Wales

@virginmedia crawling to a halt again. Yesterday evening very slow - 1.5Mb download. Now so low that can’t login to any online services or run Speedtest - latency too low. Virgin Media app says “good service”, but the Help Desk admits it is not going to be fixed until 29th Mar!!!

  • Magadocious82 Camper Than ⛺⛺⛺ (@Magadocious82) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia Shit! I meant to say chewing gum, but I hit the wrong button, because I was walking with my phone!

  • MJSwindlehurst Matthew Swindlehurst (@MJSwindlehurst) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@jordanjaylam @virginmedia @richardbranson 6 engineers out and 2 WiFi box later and still not working Jordan, a quite atrocious customer service

  • Carl_E88 This is Carl (@Carl_E88) reported from Cardiff, Wales

I love how the rain slows my internet down @virginmedia

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • danseantom D T (@danseantom) reported

@no1_hotspur @LanceAntony @virginmedia Can't beat virigin for speed to the router. After that, if you have WiFi speed issues, buy yourself a decent router and put the virgin hub in modem mode. You're right, it's trash hardware unfortunately.

  • PurpleHayesUK Richard Hayes (@PurpleHayesUK) reported

@virginmedia All checks as listed on line. Ps your website is a bit broken distorted picture goes to no picture advice. Wired connection from TiVo box to hub. The signal is of course being delivered via a dedicated coax cable, this is live TV, not a streaming service.

  • SucksVirgin VirginMediaSucks (@SucksVirgin) reported

@virginmedia Told that it is because I have 21 devices connected to the network. A reboot reduce this to 14. 0 improvements in connection speed. Complaint are closed by your team because he has offered his help and I am talking rubbish.

  • macker73 Mark Mc (@macker73) reported

@virginmedia Honestly. No. I don’t want a forum, I want a solution, from a human being, actually talking to me.

  • dobbinaj Dobbin ✌ (@dobbinaj) reported

@virginmedia Well down to you now to provide the goods, Been let down for too long . 😳

  • SucksVirgin VirginMediaSucks (@SucksVirgin) reported

@virginmedia Wired connection. Being told by your team that the router need some 'rest' because it is going through a 'difficult time'. When I dispute this ridiculous claim, I am told I am talking rubbish. What a great support team you have. Really opened my eyes. @Ofcom

  • Reeceeybtw ReeCeeY (@Reeceeybtw) reported

@virginmedia I have had a voicemail from the virgin media team about my complaint - but on my mobile which I get no signal on and I specifically asked for a call on my landline. Can this be rectified?

  • Leo89826702 Leo (@Leo89826702) reported

@virginmedia At what point are you going to advise mobile customers that you have changed from EE network to Vodafone. My migration is tonight after I called customer service and they told me. Now I have been instructed to change all my network details on the APN etc.

  • claire_e91 Claire Ellis (@claire_e91) reported

@virginmedia Hi, I don't think I was given any credits but the equipment was activated on the 26th Feb if that helps. Do I need to call the help centre to find out?
