  • StevenNott StevenNott (@StevenNott) reported from Cwmbran Central, Wales

@chloemphoto @virginmedia If it connects to other WiFi networks from the same source ie @virginmedia then the problem is within your router itself and not any device connected to it. Your router is faulty and needs replacing. You said yourself that the router is faulty and goes offline if even moved.

  • MagicSteve28 Steven Williams (@MagicSteve28) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@TheRealHavokHD @virginmedia Not at the moment mate but I'm looking at when BT & Vodaphone hit the area, if its this year then it'll be a switch Also think I'll go around all the neighbours etc telling them about issues etc advise them to do the same. I'll make flyers with my ThinkBroadband trends on 😡

  • StevenNott StevenNott (@StevenNott) reported from Cwmbran Central, Wales

@chloemphoto @virginmedia I'm a customer of yours 👍 and I can categorically prove that the laptop is 100% working correctly using 'my' Virgin Media WiFi connection with no issues. There's an issue with @chloemphoto's router which isn't getting resolved and the easiest solution is to replace it asap.

  • StevenNott StevenNott (@StevenNott) reported from Cwmbran Central, Wales

@chloemphoto @virginmedia The laptop also works off mobile data sharing too so connectivity issues are good. Please sort out this mess because the router is needed to be working properly for laptop work to be done at home. Stop all this buck passing from one dept to another and help these guys PLEASE.

  • StrombolyS Manu (@StrombolyS) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia Hi, please could you give us a hand? We are having daily problems with internet provided by you. Today it’s even worse than normal. We have important training online tomorrow and we need to have good broadband. We don’t want to go to another company but to work

  • StevenNott StevenNott (@StevenNott) reported from Cwmbran Central, Wales

@chloemphoto @virginmedia Even if the ethernet works, the WiFi issues are still there and you need it sorting. It's in the @virginmedia contract to ensure all equipment is working and functioning as it should. Faulty equipment should be replaced and remember, you're paying for the service.

  • cymboi MH 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏳️‍🌈🇪🇺 #yescymru (@cymboi) reported from St. Julians, Wales

@virginmedia down again Cardiff, meant to have a lecture at 7, which isn't looking likely

  • emilyjane73 LauraT 🔶 (@emilyjane73) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia Need to cancel my new order. It wasn’t done correctly and given the total lack of being able to contact you I have lost confidence in VM. Cannot contact anyone to cancel though, what a nightmare. Just taking too much of my time to make switching worthwhile. #painful

  • rancid_insane rancid insane 🤪 (@rancid_insane) reported from Newport, Wales

@virginmedia Still having issues 😪 Its hopefully getting fixed Monday but would really like to speak to your complaints department

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • cstone7200 Chris Stone 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@cstone7200) reported

Virgin media bills going up 14.2% from April. In the small print - every April from 2024 bills are GUARANTEED to increase by RPI +3.9%. As this has been added to the T&C's you will have no right to cancel without penalty due to this annual price rise from 2024 @virginmedia

  • Minky_monkey Minky (@Minky_monkey) reported

@virginmedia @TwoPaddocks 2. We renegotiated our contract, which the 2nd person ignored and then send out an even more expensive deal plus a connection fee. As a customer of 20 years, the whole thing is leaving it feel very sour.

  • GoldBug2000 Ⓜⓤⓩⓩⓐ 🐨🦕🦖🎅 (@GoldBug2000) reported

@backinyerpram @Bobbiburnss PS Virgin Media is owned 50:50 between Liberty Global and Telefónica. So Bobbi is incorrect to say that it's Richard Branson's fault. I've got VB broadband cabling outside my house, but reports (like you two) of poor service have put me off. I'll stick to my current 4G router

  • JeanRussell100 Jean Russell (@JeanRussell100) reported

Nul points @virginmedia when you phone to disconnect a service, the bots are useless, the real people even after they listen, star reading from their scripts about promotional services and 30 day notices, and the transfer just cuts off.

  • theollyolsson Steve Olsson 💎 (@theollyolsson) reported

@virginmedia He transferred me to a contract specialist who sorted it out in 5 mins, and credited me the difference back into myaccount that I had paid, the guy I first talked said they needed to investigate first, did mention he was in Asia and it’s a poor country but thanked Virgin for a job

  • theollyolsson Steve Olsson 💎 (@theollyolsson) reported

@virginmedia Could someone from technical support ring me do you think?

  • JohnRelen1 Badmanners (@JohnRelen1) reported

@virginmedia Emergency line a hospital electrician has checked the equipment and nothing wrong with it

  • kenket1 Kenny Kettings (@kenket1) reported

@virginmedia This is notice that I will be cancelling my service. I'll use the old fashioned method to communicate that to you; by post. By that time I'll have Sky installed

  • Cc83208773 Cc (@Cc83208773) reported

@virginmedia @tommy_por One of your network engineers told me you overload and are over subscribing customers and slowing speeds but charging the same. That was literally from the mouth of a virgin broadband engineer

  • Minky_monkey Minky (@Minky_monkey) reported

@virginmedia @LutzSchueler @virginmedia I cannot explain the level of frustration this diabolical level of customer "service" causes. Why do you persist in overseas call centres who cannot resolve what should be straight forward issue.
