@virginmedia is it normal practice when a call is made to you about problems with the tivo box (3rd time this year) that you're then on a call for over an hr at at the end of it promised an upgrade, go thro all the protocols only to be told actually you can't have that

@virginmedia still waiting since 7.30 am for the engineer to come to sort out the problems we are having, he’s 25 minutes to get here ( we were given 7.30-13 slot) still no tv since Thursday!

@virginmedia It doesn't. No changes made. I had major problems setting this up, it went through someone in your complaints department and they had to do something manual to set the package I was on up. Clearly, even they are incapable. I've had TV for a few months, then it's just gone off.

Properly for the best part of a yr doesn't seem a problem to yourselves but your quite happy to take out monthly payment for a service we're paying for but you're not providing & seem to be in no hurry to provide it. Disgraceful service @virginmedia

@virginmedia A laughable statement in all honesty you're known for terrible service, demonstrated by the line "Package changes". Who said package changes? I have a TV package, I signed up for, have a contract for and have been using since June. It's disappeared your end, I have the docs.

@syeporter180 @virginmedia I’m on virgin and it’s not that great Sye, I was going to sky before I renewed but had the same problem as you because I’d of had to wait months for BT to install a cable so just stuck to the devil I know in the end

@virginmedia Rubbish! You've systems with customer details in, once a service in a geographical area has been identified as failing and there are subscribers you could then text those affected. Your almost there listen to the recordings, it checks you then reports, close the gap proactively

@virginmedia I'd done that and it said no problem in the area. That page never logs problems until after 100s of customers have reported them. The tech test said there was a tech problem with the test! That's why I tweeted. Broadband back now. Maybe there was a human in the process somewhere.

@virginmedia Your password acceptance criteria for MyAccount is dangerous. Having any account set up with 10 characters (no more, no less) and limited to upper+lower case with numbers only would be adorable for a first-year Security project - but not for customer-facing data...
