Sam Tempest (@SATempest) reported from Cardiff, Wales
@virginmedia But the team is impossible to contact!!! And when you do get in contact it’s always someone else’s problem, ‘oh I’ll just pass you onto my colleague’ etc. I’ve WhatsApped the help number too and been told it’s a long wait and told I can ‘get on with [my] day’ - absolute joke.

@virginmedia I did that this morning & the person said they were in complaints department..he said I needed to speak to retentions & a manager would call. He raised a complaint Ref:C160622488. Got a call this afternoon where the manager of customer services said there was nothing he could do.
-
Sam Tempest (@SATempest) reported from Cardiff, Wales
@virginmedia Yep. Just been on hold for 1 hour 3 minutes and as soon as I got through it cut off. Sent multiple follow up WhatsApp messages and still nothing. You really need to sort out your customer service because I’ve been waiting 3 weeks just to get back into contact with someone!!!
-
Darren Coomber (@Dazc090861) reported from Cardiff, Wales
@virginmedia I do not want to be with you any more because you are doing my head in!!!! You have turned from being a very good company with good service to being the most disgusting people I have ever had the displeasure of coming in contact with!!!
-
Sam Tempest (@SATempest) reported from Cardiff, Wales
@virginmedia I phoned THREE weeks ago to cancel our contact, there was a dispute over a cancellation fee. A manager was supposed to call me back, I’ve rang 5 times since to check as heard nothing- each time was told ‘within 48hrs’. Move out next Friday, what am I supposed to do????
-
Darren Coomber (@Dazc090861) reported from Cardiff, Wales
@virginmedia can you tell me what has gone wrong with your company!?!? I have been with you for years, without complaint but, since Dec 21, you change my contract, without my say-so & despite constant calls for 6 months, still nobody will take responsibility & sort it out!!! 😠😠
-
Sam Tempest (@SATempest) reported from Cardiff, Wales
@virginmedia hello I’ve supposedly been transferred to the Customer Relations messaging team on WhatsApp but have been waiting since 2pm yesterday for an agent to get back to me, how much longer can I be expected to wait? Thanks
-
Sam Sims (@mantha_1976) reported from Newport, Wales
hey @virginmedia I have a contract that says my price is set to Jan 2023 and I negotiated the deal with customer retention as not the account holder bit authorised to talk on behalf of the account holder and now I've got customer services flat out lying toe on WhatsApp (1)
-
Sam Tempest (@SATempest) reported from Cardiff, Wales
@virginmedia calling takes too long, always on hold for over an hour, and they never deal with the problem, the person on WhatsApp actually dealt with it which is why I was wanting to carry on using WhatsApp?!
-
Darren Coomber (@Dazc090861) reported from Cardiff, Wales
@virginmedia In Dec, you sent an email thanking me for making changes & what I'd get from now on & it'd cost over twice as much as I was paying. I never asked for any changes & in one of the many, calls I've made, I was told that your Oomph bundle department had shut around the same time.

damian Kerlin 🏳️🌈 (@damianKerlin) reported from Cardiff, Wales
@virginmedia Yes, and it is a different issue every time. How, in a capital city, is this happening everyday, with your engineers unable to do anything to improve the situation. …and what about that refund, as we are paying for internet which we are not getting?
-
Brody (@brodyanderson_) reported from Cardiff, Wales
@virginmedia Yeah have already called. Reports no service issues in my location despite online reporting intermittent issues this morning. Ability to book an engineer has disappeared. Help appreciated - now over 24h without connection
-
Samantha (@Samanth82113398) reported from Cardiff, Wales
@virginmedia Hi can someone help me I'm trying to log in to my account but keeps saying there's a problem at your end
-
Darren Coomber (@Dazc090861) reported from Cardiff, Wales
@virginmedia My original package wasn't due to end until July 22. I've spoken to every department you have, over & over again...I go over the same old explanation with your people every single time & still, nobody in your company will help...I've spoken to over 3 managers & still nothing!!

Darren Coomber (@Dazc090861) reported from Cardiff, Wales
@virginmedia I'm now waiting on a call from the retentions department (I missed one earlier)! I know exactly what they will say because I've spoken to them on a number of occasions...they will offer me a new contract & raise a complaint about the messing about you've given me!!!
-
Darren Coomber (@Dazc090861) reported from Cardiff, Wales
@virginmedia Firstly a refund of £351 for the Mobile part of the Oomph bundle as it was stopped a couple of months after starting the contract..still not paid to me! The Media part..nothing has been done at all..no solution..just continual pestering to pay by debt collectors or cut service!

Lee Smith 🌻 (@djleekee) reported from Cardiff, Wales
@virginmedia The channel 4 one seems a bit flakey too. The opening sting on each service plays and then some ads but on both the programmes never play so I give up and use the smart TV apps instead. I've assumed it's a bandwidth issue but I suppose if ads are playing the progs should too.

@virginmedia The funny thing is it's been like this for ages. Yet, no sign of any improvement at all, even after all the complaints you receive. All we get in return is a **** service and inflated prices. Dd will be cancelled. See how quick yous act then.

Tony Aloysius Amis esq. Not M.P. (@mezzaninedoor) reported
@virginmedia Are you listening, I keep being dropped off 150 calls, that’s part of the f£4king problem. The onus seems to be on me to chase this all up, all the while. Why can’t Virgin just get things right. I’m still being charged for a 2nd line that I requested removed in November!!!
-
Colin Cunningham (@Twenty2Zero8Ten) reported
@virginmedia Is this fault at customer services having a knock effect with your engineer visits? I was suppose to have an engineer visit between 8 & 12. No show! Waited in all morning. Will Virgin Media be compensating me for my wasted time?
-
Bill Adams (@theworstbill) reported
@virginmedia your customer service staff on the phone just told me that they're deliberately cutting off calls after putting people on hold to stop people cancelling their contracts. Maybe @WhichUK and @BBCNews would be interested?
