@chloemphoto @virginmedia I'm a customer of yours 👍 and I can categorically prove that the laptop is 100% working correctly using 'my' Virgin Media WiFi connection with no issues. There's an issue with @chloemphoto's router which isn't getting resolved and the easiest solution is to replace it asap.

@virginmedia wow your customer services aren't geared up for this at all are they? Almost a year on in virtual service, no phone service, only web chat. It took from 2pm yesterday to 9am today to get a response from customer services who couldn't help anyhow! Bang goes retention!

@chloemphoto @virginmedia If it connects to other WiFi networks from the same source ie @virginmedia then the problem is within your router itself and not any device connected to it. Your router is faulty and needs replacing. You said yourself that the router is faulty and goes offline if even moved.

Hi @virginmedia - can you DM me? Waited weeks 4 no reply, phoned 38m wait & the 1 time I get through I got cut off, no1 phones back,trying to cancel. Website is awful for contact. Would actually like to resolve issues if poss - just need some1 to call me! Thank you in advance.

@chloemphoto @virginmedia Even if the ethernet works, the WiFi issues are still there and you need it sorting. It's in the @virginmedia contract to ensure all equipment is working and functioning as it should. Faulty equipment should be replaced and remember, you're paying for the service.

@virginmedia Need to cancel my new order. It wasn’t done correctly and given the total lack of being able to contact you I have lost confidence in VM. Cannot contact anyone to cancel though, what a nightmare. Just taking too much of my time to make switching worthwhile. #painful

@chloemphoto @virginmedia The laptop also works off mobile data sharing too so connectivity issues are good. Please sort out this mess because the router is needed to be working properly for laptop work to be done at home. Stop all this buck passing from one dept to another and help these guys PLEASE.

@virginmedia how can you justify levying £25.00 charges if fail to cancel a "now resolved" tech visit but you fail to reciprocate the gesture when YOU cancel a visit and fail to notify the customer with the cancellation being due to an "outage" at your end? Shambolic&insulting

@virginmedia My issue is bband been down since Thursday night and Friday a tech visit for this morning between 8 and 12. Due to an outage at your end, the visit was incorrectly cancelled as your records showed as "now fixed". We didn't find this until contacting yourselves after 12 today

@virginmedia Service status says no area issues but the online test said intermittent signals. The broadband keeps dropping every couple of minutes and the TV is blocky with intermittent sound.

@nsandihelp @virginmedia Yes. Tried that but after 20 minutes still wasn’t put through to a person and couldn’t wait any longer. I see from a Google search that this is a known fault and the mobile provider needs to fix the tones the phone makes so they can be recognised. No help from mobile provider tho

@virginmedia Called, got sent a link, link said connection issues, ran link again saying still issues call in 21 hours if not resolved. There are 2 of us WFH 🫤 on WiFi but have IP phone plugged directly in having same issues, tv connected with a wire. Can you advise if this is an area issue?
