Upgrading to gigabit broadband meant getting a new router from VirginMedia, so took the opportunity to tidy up and remove old cabling and extension leads. Didn't realise just how much unused crap I still had plugged in/taking up space

@virginmedia The channel 4 one seems a bit flakey too. The opening sting on each service plays and then some ads but on both the programmes never play so I give up and use the smart TV apps instead. I've assumed it's a bandwidth issue but I suppose if ads are playing the progs should too.

@virginmedia No. According to the service status, there is nothing wrong, but an engineer who visited yesterday confirmed that there is no power in the cable between our house and the cabinet. Another engineer was supposedly prioritised to come to us today to fix it, but hasn’t shown up. 😡

@PaulHos93404413 @virginmedia I’d cancel. Had a total loss of service since 11:30pm on Wednesday night. Engineer due to attend today between 8am-1pm and they haven’t shown. Trying to phone them is a joke. Complete and utter crap customer service. Worst I’ve experienced.
