After calling Linksys, it was 45 mins on the phone with @virginmedia with the agent arguing with me that they can’t help with my hub if it’s in modem mode only for them to pass it on to someone else who changes a setting and asks me to reset. 30 wait for results now.

@virginmedia I have, in fact I’ve done this so many times today ( 6 ) I can no longer re run any more diagnostics. All it shows is no known issues. We had an issues our area some weeks ago which was then resolved and since then the internet has been shocking
