Got to love @virginmedia, having spent 1 hour 15 minutes on the phone waiting to speak to someone in their technical service, finally get through to be told they close in 15 minutes nothing they can do 😳 on the WiFi black spots better off getting something from Amazon 🤬🤯

@bluebirdchapo @WezTucker @virginmedia Don’t try Bt worst in the world for internet I’ve had it twice when I moved. Internet wouldn’t pull your hat off absolute shite they actually gave me compensation. plus all these newish companies offering great deals are shite as they all use Bt lines.

@virginmedia The Wi-fi is rubbish, slow and crap service up stairs. Often I have to connect to extenders. It’s a two story average house. Your routers are rubbish. The older ones were much better!!

@virginmedia No service issues and my other half has said the ping test hard wired by an Ethernet cable is coming back with 0.11’s 0.3 0.5 0.31. The house we are in is a small 2 up 2 down and devices drop out intermittently, it’s really annoying.

Well after many many years of being a @virginmedia customer today I finally cancelled my contract. It’s totally disgusting how much they charge. ie £115 a month & saying it was going to go up another £5

@virginmedia I followed the steps there is nothing wrong with the equipment and it doesn't list anything wrong in the area however at the times it goes down other people with virgin in the area who I know also experience the same issues

If you can get @Hyperoptic switch to them, been hearing great things about there broadband, shame they not in my area otherwise I would have switched yrs ago

@virginmedia If this is your most reliable then it must have been crap before. I have to use my data when I'm sat 2 mts away from the router!! Terrible product, no customer service either, all online chat who take a day or so to reply so you miss the message.

@jeg1972 @ryanmbrammer @virginmedia Yea a lot of people say run your own router, but we shouldn’t have to considering they advertise that they have great Wi-Fi which they don’t, I understand your happy with what you pay but I bet you any money when you come to renew they will charge you more then a new customer

@virginmedia I had 10 years of good service, but now when I need it most, the speeds are appalling. Paying a premium for 200Mbit and often getting 5-10mbit, which is not making work or play easy. Out of contract now and looking at other suppliers seriously for the first time.

@Matt65786661 @MichaelMaltby14 @virginmedia I've been with them for near on 20yrs and I agree with you, I've always been happy with them.....until NOW. Maybe it's the increased in demand with the pandemic, but WiFi has been awful over the last 6 months and can't speak to anyone....very frustrating!
