@virginmedia Thanks! But it’s really not just me - there must be others - at this difficult time - who will be having to pay more for just the same service!

@Annabanana8008 @virginmedia @O2 Good luck to you and don't take any sh*t, you should be fully compensated for the absolute inconvenience. We had a little problem with our provider and they where excellent, understood the issue and before we asked they compensated us.

  • PhilippaWillia1 Philippa Williams (@PhilippaWillia1) reported from Penarth, Wales

@virginmedia To be honest the telephone support from call centre was very poor. No answer to my request about customers who are vulnerable and who else I could talk to. Just “wait another 72 hours” .....It was email, Facebook and twitter messages that helped

  • BigDogWrestler Big Dog (@BigDogWrestler) reported from Newport, Wales

@Annabanana8008 @virginmedia I feel for you, if @O2 and @virginmedia do merge, I'm leaving at the earliest opportunity. @virginmedia leave me a little cold and with no confidence as a customer.

  • SAULYD_ saul (@SAULYD_) reported from Newport, Wales

@virginmedia I cannot stress how ****** bollox your internet is. Honestly 1G would be 10x faster than your ****

  • Thelansdownepub The Lansdowne (@Thelansdownepub) reported from Cardiff, Wales

Phoned @virginmedia to see what they can do about a payment holiday since we are forced to remain closed for the foreseeable and obviously not using any of our broadband services. They offered a discount of half a months bill. Wow. The worst company we have spoken to so far 😰

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • polkadotnemo Nemo Francis (@polkadotnemo) reported

@virginmedia Update. Still zero Internet, landline or TV. Had to go with a new provider.. Your representatives aren't allowing us to cancel. As it stands we're owed over £600 compensation, and we were told we could leave without penalty... But strangely there seems to be no record

  • SnapJem SnakeHips (@SnapJem) reported

@virginmedia How about YOU do something about it and find out who pays the bills at these numbers and get them closed down @virginmedia

  • Tokssalaam Toks salaam (@Tokssalaam) reported

@virginmedia I signed up for broadband on the 7th of March, given a connection date 2 weeks later. I have since had 2 cancellations the day before connection. I now have no service at all and have to work from home. The level of service has been shocking.

  • dipti_pandya Dipti Pandya (@dipti_pandya) reported

@virginmedia To note also that’s it’s not the end of contract vs mid term contract issue it’s that he was on the same expensive package for years & nothing proactive was done from your end even when you had opportunity to review his account as his phone line was damaged. Onus was on him only

  • dipti_pandya Dipti Pandya (@dipti_pandya) reported

@virginmedia You do but you also make it v. difficult for customers to contact you. Phone is esp. bewildering for #time #poor #carers. Not just @virginmedia -across the board & the auto renewals are a huge income generator. Can you review customer service from user perspective & ease of use?

  • oliverkennedypt Oliver Kennedy PT (@oliverkennedypt) reported

@virginmedia I have asked multiple times for somebody to confirm in writing that Virgin Media are denying responsibility for these transactions in order that the bank can refund me, this has been promised several times but the email never comes through.

  • kya_sokyo Kya 🌺 (@kya_sokyo) reported

Why am I paying £42 a month for the wireless connection to just decide it doesn't want to work whenever? I literally cannot watch tv without the internet @virginmedia what a joke. I want my discounts back considering I've been a loyal customer for 7 years

  • seanangeloo seanㅤ (@seanangeloo) reported

    @virginmedia FIX YOUR **** SMFH

  • oliverkennedypt Oliver Kennedy PT (@oliverkennedypt) reported

@virginmedia I have telephoned ‘the team’ 13 times. It is naïve to believe that calling them for a 14th time will bring about a positive resolution.

  • christineyeo Christine Yeo (@christineyeo) reported

@virginmedia @ltrbrooks An engineer should have already fixed it on 21Apr as originally promised. Why is he still “on his way”? Is an issue affecting large swathes of customers in east London not a priority enough and the issue needs to be dragged on for apparently 6 weeks and ongoing?
