@virginmedia Seems OK now. It was Prime Video that was the problem. I think they couldn't handle all the football live streaming very well, and something had to give. Thanks 👍

1. @richardbranson cannot tell you how incensed I am at the poor service I have had since signing up to @virginmedia - no one can help me sort out getting a good and consistent internet signal across the whole house (which @bt_uk could) - amazed how the new technology is worse.

@Aarrontongue1 @primevideosport No. Virgin Media. Not had any issues like this before. Fortunately I'll be at the Leicester v Liverpool game tonight so I won't need to put up with pixelation/buffering. Stupid time for a Boxing Day game though!

@bennmarkpotter @virginmedia Getting a issue of only 2mbps when I’m paying for 200mbps. It’s a joke. I’m gonna move to sky they guarantee 60mbps or your money back. U should do the same 👍

Nearly 2 hours on the phone to #virginmedia no1 wants to help. Getting 2mbps for a 200mbps plan. If I paid 1% of the bill am sure they’d find a issue then! #useless

@virginmedia router not working, of course not your equipment has to be mine. Why have to wait 48 hours to phone again if still not working. It’s arrogant to think we know nothing about IT.

@virginmedia The call back was about a change to package deal following a death. The bereavement team passed me over to the customer service department and the CSR I spoke with promised to call me back after speaking with a manager. That was at about 9.30am this morning.

@virginmedia They've arranged it now, but it really didn't have to take 90 minutes for something which should be straightforward. Also all of the info that your chat bot asks for had to be repeated. Not great service, especially when I work for a telco company myself so know what to expect

@virginmedia No, it's the router. I just reboot and it comes back online. Local service is fine. Think I have a stinker of a router. Is there a way to get it replaced?
-
Marc Burrows

@virginmedia I have it written down on a piece of paper and distinctly remember asking in the phone call if everything was for the 18 months, so you can go through the recorded phone call if need be. I was at least never told it was for anything less than 18 months (either 6 or 12).

@virginmedia been waiting longer than 48 hours for a manager call back, initially was told 24 hours but then I had to chase up and was then told its 48 hours which even that has passed! Shocking customer service!!
