@virginmedia When the VOD indicator on the TiVo box is lit, the broadband springs back into life. When VOD fails then so does the broadband. The two are linked but you're status page maintains otherwise. Why say a service is fine when it clearly isn't?

@virginmedia all I would like is that you update my mum (of 80) ‘s information on the web interface. I won’t go into the farce of the last few months but I do think it would be nice before you cut her off AGAIN to update the information so I can action the problem. #cantcomplain

@Buffel140 @virginmedia @richardbranson Seriously though I think that the system needs a overhall. Help the operators with more staff training. Many of those I spoke to tried really hard to help but there is no continuity between calls or departments. Maybe each operator could have a specific customers to follow up.

@virginmedia the worst customer service I have ever experienced! Lied to by staff and internet install date moved with out consent. Then laughed at my customer service team. Now left with no internet while working from home. #virginmedia

@virginmedia My Mum lives in GL51 and her TV and Internet have cut out 3 times in the last hour, it just cuts out then says ‘waking up’ is there an issue? Nothing online but there must be as 3 times so far in an hour is a lot!

Well what a surprise @virginmedia had no internet for 2 days now so can’t even watch sky tv properly or do anything without using 4g. Told it would be fixed by 12 today and it’s still down. Been like this for months. Sort it out

@virginmedia I have yes and no area faults are showing (though the last ones were not showing but it was confirmed by tech support you had them) now have a third engineer coming out for a third visit

@virginmedia Yes there are no problems listed on your page. We spoke to someone on the phone who said it would be sorted by 12. We have rebooted the system, turned it off all night unplugged everything. Done reset etc still nothing.

@virginmedia Called the number as instructed and they didn’t issue any discounts because they couldn’t see the fault that you mentioned on twitter. Issue is still ongoing with no internet access for a few days now.
