-
John Bennett (@chinashouse) reported from Ashford, England@virginmedia Not being rude but I have explained it more than once to various people at Virgin media, who really can't come up with a solution and I feel that they're not really interested in doing so either, I feel as if I'm just another customer who is just not getting what I'm paying for😩
-
sarah aldridge (@sarahaldridge73) reported from Sittingbourne, England@virginmedia awful customer service in my experience. Been trying to cancel contract since yesterday with no success! On line chat refer to team but they don’t respond and phone lines cut you off after 55 minutes of holding on!
-
Braxton hix (@chinwah33) reported from Ashford, EnglandWell laters #virginmedia I will be off to sky when the contracts up next month. Terrible service, no TV again today and yet you still call me everyday to get me to take out another contract.
-
Jonathan Goodwin (@mrjcgoodwin) reported from Ashford, England@virginmedia Just wondered if I’ve waited long enough yet for anyone @virginmedia to care enough to respond to me? Still no forum response. Still not complaint response. Still line issues. Just lies from your SM team.
-
David Williams (@TheTestingMuse) reported from Ashford, England@virginmedia Having just looked at model photos it's the Hub 4 I have, set to Modem Mode. The connection drop problem is with the Hub itself (the solid white ring light then starts glowing to show it is "connecting"), so the connection drop affects both wired and wireless connections.
-
Martin Holme (@Chataranga) reported from Kennington, England@virginmedia what has happened to your customer service? I have been waiting since Wednesday evening for someone to reply ‘ as soon as possible’ about a fault. Currently on hold as usual on the phone. Is there anyone there at all!?
-
Jonathan Goodwin (@mrjcgoodwin) reported from Ashford, England@virginmedia Still keeps going off. Has been like this for months now. Has gone off twice this evening. Can’t get hold of anyone. Self service goes in circles. Just need to speak to someone who will listen to the issue. It has to be network level. 2 engineers have confirmed our setup is fine.
-
Gill Leighton (@GillLeightonNHS) reported from Kennington, EnglandWorking from home over the past few days has been so tricky, our expensive M100 fibre broadband has been so slow that I had to resort to using my 4 G , tonight is 5 th evening in a row on hold for over an hour #virginmedia please can you help ? -
Jonathan Goodwin (@mrjcgoodwin) reported from Ashford, England@virginmedia Your agent told me 72hrs. But then I was also told if I post on the forum I will get support. But we can all see how that has panned out. Just. Fix. The. Problem. Why is this so difficult? I guess copy/paste apologies are just cheaper than dealing with the real issues.
-
SarahJay (@IamSarahJayJay) reported from Canterbury, England2. @virginmedia @VMHelpDesk no idea how to get into the account and claim it!! Can't seem to find my own account under either of my usual emails. Obvs I would like the credit as cash as I no longer hold a virgin media account so hoping customer service can help me locate it
-
Jonathan Goodwin (@mrjcgoodwin) reported from Ashford, England@virginmedia I get that. But several people on there have logged issues. I haven’t used that tool but try it. But issue is defo at your end as between outages speed/latency is brilliant and other people have same issue on street. That’s why I’m so keen to fix not leave as usually gr8 service.
-
Jonathan Goodwin (@mrjcgoodwin) reported from Ashford, England@virginmedia so am missing the football again - about the third time now in about 6 weeks. Engineers have replaced all cables and router but refuse to accept it’s a network issue. How do I actually progress this or speak to someone who cares?
-
JannerJo 🦠💉💥 (@JoTreCanterbury) reported from Canterbury, England@tryingattimes @virginmedia 100% correct took ages to cancel my 80yo mum's service when my dad got vascular dementia. They sent me all sorts of patronising messages on here. All designed to extract money from vulnerable people. STEER WELL CLEAR!
-
Dennis C Chansa ( Dee-Lo) (@HiDee_Lo) reported from Ashford, England@virginmedia is this the kind of bad service we now have to pay for? Charging us fibre prices but getting slow speed, can’t call the contact centre. Internet as slow as a sloth in TN233JA area This is very bad service
-
Jonathan Goodwin (@mrjcgoodwin) reported from Ashford, England@virginmedia This is the exact problem. Your agents deny there is an issue in the area. A recent social media post revealed many people in our neighbourhood have the same issue. All your agents want to do is ‘send signals’ to our router and restart our router. Nobody taking issue seriously.

johngunn (@johngunn2) reported@virginmedia @CliveR39 The last time I checked a couple of days ago it gave an estimated fix of 28th August. Which considering it’s been at least a week since it went down is a considerable length of time to not receive the service we’re paying for.
-
Virgin Media News (@VirginMediaNews) reportedPrince Harry, Elton John and five others have been ordered to pay an initial £9.5 million to the publisher of Britain’s Daily Mail following their failed privacy case. The group had accused the publisher of unlawful information gathering - claims it denied. The judge found there was insufficient evidence to support the claims and said there was a possibility the reporting came from legitimate sources. The £9.5 million payment must be made by August 28. -
Anand Gupta (@anandcheam) reported@virginmedia can you spend some money on customer care so they can answer calls / chats and LISTEN when they do ? You guys sent me 2016 router box when the agreement was to send the latest and now no one is licking up the phone, is that joke? @Ofcom British regulators need to penalise where it starts hurting the service company. Like they do in the USA, 100s of millions of pounds or billions. Not peanuts.
-
football sufferer (@user702937) reported@virginmedia the WiFi is down across burley. Please fix
-
