Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Inverbervie, Scotland

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Inverbervie and nearby locations:

  • danielmcavoy Daniel McAvoy (@danielmcavoy) reported from Stonehaven, Scotland

@virginmedia There's nothing wrong on my end. I've definitely noticed since switching to Virgin Mobile I've had much less 4G signal than when I was on EE. If I wasn't tied in with my Broadband contract I'd have switched back by now.

  • badassscotsman Jim Auld (@badassscotsman) reported from Montrose, Scotland

@virginmedia @libertyglobal This has to be the number 1 worst Internet and TV provider I have ever dealt with. Disgusting customer service they fix nothing do nothing yet they still want paid. Now the have this 28 day wait to sort out a complaint.

  • AlanDougla5 Alan Douglas (@AlanDougla5) reported from Saint Cyrus, Scotland

@CatrionaShearer @virginmedia Dump them asap. I had a horrendous time with Virgin and they eventually apologised and cancelled an alleged "debt" after I lodged an official complaint. I'm now with Plusnet and the difference is amazing. They are superb.

  • badassscotsman Jim Auld (@badassscotsman) reported from Montrose, Scotland

@libertyglobal sort your uk based @virginmedia out. The customer service is a complete and utter joke they don't listen they don't sort anything out. But still want payments. Just check the twitter and Facebook reviews on @virginmedia and see for yourself

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • PromisesRust Promises Rust (@PromisesRust) reported

@virginmedia Anyway, would you tell me the correct contact details to escalate this to an official complaint as I asked three times in the whataspp thread and no-one gave us the info? I think the log of this thread needs to go to the regulator to see how bad it was.

  • PromisesRust Promises Rust (@PromisesRust) reported

@virginmedia Cancellation could take a few seconds (a cancel button on virginmedia account page), a couple of minutes (an email address) so the fact that cancellation is such a long, expensive and painful process is a deliberate choice by Virgin. So they need to be stopped.

  • pxzpazpxz p a z (@pxzpazpxz) reported

@virginmedia actually no, you shouldn’t be asking, it’s none of your business but since we’re here already: I can’t hear. gonna help me cancel it now?

  • EdwardcB1968 Edward Blunt (@EdwardcB1968) reported

@SueSuezep @virginmedia ..? Poor customer services..?absolutely no loyalty to existing customers especially ones of 30 years.. new customers massive monthly savings on broadband, old customers pay full price

  • PromisesRust Promises Rust (@PromisesRust) reported

@virginmedia .@ofcom must surely be aware how difficult Virgin make cancellation. All they need to do is require internet providers to have cancel button on website like almost all online subscription companies do. I can't even escalate to .@ofcom as Virgin refuse to start complaint process.

  • PromisesRust Promises Rust (@PromisesRust) reported

@virginmedia Sure, we went through that for 5 hours, pinged between the same person more than once, security checked successfully multiple times until the final person decided we had failed the latest check and terminate the thread.

  • PaddyV4 Gerard Barden (@PaddyV4) reported

@virginmedia Thank you - i appreciate the reply. Nonetheless there has been an intermittent issue for weeks, if not months. Given inability to fix this over that time, I’m honestly pretty low on confidence and you have this in hand.

  • fay_jon_ 🍃⭕️protector of frogs🍃 (@fay_jon_) reported

@virginmedia had your customer retention team literally hang up on me when they said they put me through to the cancellation team? Spent an hour trying to get through, and now I have no way of actually cancelling my contract. Feel like I’m being mugged

  • Shogunduckula vincent ruscoe (@Shogunduckula) reported

@virginmedia No error message, the app just closed down on all devices

  • ImogeenCooper 𝕴𝖒𝖔𝖌𝖊𝖓 (@ImogeenCooper) reported

@virginmedia This happens at least once a week and nothing has been done. We have made phone calls etc. We want out of the contract if you are not providing us with the service we were promised by signing an agreement with you.
