New @bt_uk #fttp been in for a few days... what have I noticed so far, no drop outs, Wi-fi calling working decent internet speeds and general decent service unlike @virginmedia

Hello @bt_uk broadband goodbye @virginmedia. BT fibre being installed today! Finally virgin media have got some competition in the area. I can see everyone in the area switching in the coming months due to the poor service you’ve provided everyone in Currie.

@virginmedia Yes but she wanted me to stay on the phone while she filled in a form despite me telling her I can’t as I should be working. She only seemed interested in closing the complaint without me being happy with the resolution

@stevegoodman @bt_uk @virginmedia I’ve given up on VM they’ve been the only fibre in the area for years and their service has gone from ok to bad to worse. Working from home was proving challenging. Teams would always say poor network quality

@virginmedia Hello! No, sadly not. It says that I can add my subscription to my Virgin Media bill but I really don’t want to do that especially when I have been accessing Netflix via my TiVo box with no issues for the last 2 years!!

@MakeDigitalWork @virginmedia I feel your pain! They provide such a poor service, with poor equipment and poor support. Holding them in breach of contract now as they are not providing what I am paying them for, cancelling and getting fttp with @bt_uk installed in 2 weeks

@virginmedia That says it all.... “higher call volume than usual” they have confirmed an issue in the area. But seems this issue has been lingering around for over a year now. I appreciate there will be issues, but you seem to have more bad days than good days with your internet service

@virginmedia Can you please assist? Your connection cuts out every hour, and it's getting ridiculous! I get no internet for a couple of minutes and then it goes back to normal only for it to cut out again later. I tried ethernet connection but it still cuts out. Any ideas?
