Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Bonnyrigg, Scotland
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Bonnyrigg and nearby locations:
-
Acky (@lexo6647) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia We have tried to problem solve ourselves and need help. A replacement box or an engineer, not a link to a forum. Do you have a link to a customer complaints department? Maybe I will get somewhere with them.
-
Neil Sneddon (@EdinburghNJS) reported from Edinburgh, ScotlandGot to say. Been a customer of @virginmedia since Dec 10th 1999. First problem I've ever had this week, and service, ability to contact and understanding of my problem is absolutely woeful. Luckily still in cooling off period for new deal. Dreadful.
-
Toughers🇳🇱🏴 (@toughers1872) reported from Dalkeith, ScotlandVirgin Media never fail to disappoint🙃
-
gio (@dazza606) reported from Bonnyrigg, Scotland@virginmedia hi, unable to send emails when attached to WiFi Is there a known problem?
-
Peter Tuffy (@bigtoodle) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia Yes I have phoned yet again this morning so I think your organisation are considering some sort of compensation for the five weeks I have been without the service. No doubt it will be a paltry sum in comparison to what I pay every month.
-
Lesley Neilan (@lesley_neilan) reported from Edinburgh, ScotlandHi @virginmedia I am trying unsuccessfully to contact you about my current contract. I don’t have WhatsApp and your online help link doesn’t help. My old fashioned ‘telephone’ call ended with ‘there was a fault’. Are there any humans around?
-
Tullia (@thelifeoftul) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia @virginmedia now your service status is saying there are no issues in the EH7 area yet we’ve received a text that we won’t have wifi yet again till tomorrow morning? Please can you communicate what is going on?
-
seldomseenkid (@seldomseenkid) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@vmbusiness Down for the second time in a week. Poor
-
victoria carolina (@vcash78) reported from Edinburgh, ScotlandTrying to downgrade/cancel your @virginmedia is made harder than it ought to be! Perhaps of your customer service was better then I wouldn’t have made this request after all these years. Diabolical and shoddy! There was a time when I’d have only recommended them over competitors!
-
upgrade completed (@etjorgensen) reported from Edinburgh, ScotlandThat's virgin media back down to £30 a month from £53, all because of one call. If energy prices are going up just tell everyone you can't afford them any more and they'll soon offer a discount!
-
Peter Tuffy (@bigtoodle) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia more problems with Virgin, their internet and phone service in EH 14 has had problems for two weeks, no refund for the loss of service though. I was cut off today after their call handler could not answer the simplest of questions on an overcharged bill.
-
liam finn (@lfinn777) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia Is this in progress? I haven't seen any resolution?
-
lynette higgins (@lynettehiggins3) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia Yes it is telling me there are no issues in my area and that I should have registered re issue - I did yesterday and today, do your departments or records not get joined up, completely shocking service
-
Effie Fenton (@effiefenton) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia With respect, that just takes you to a forum on your own website to tuck this away out of public view. I'll let you know here if I get any response. Emergency response phone lines should be treated as a priority by all telecoms companies.
-
Roddy Elliott (@galleonskip) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia No known service issues ‘though
-
Scott Brownridge (@ScottBrownridge) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia any idea why my internet keeps dropping off. No issues that I can see in the area. Been doing it for two days now.
-
James Smith 🏴🇮🇹🇿🇦 (@SobukweScozia) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia BTW. It’s not an ‘intermittent’ issue - I’ve had no service at all for 18 hours, and what exactly does ‘taking us a little longer than usual’ to fix actually mean?
-
Lesley Neilan (@lesley_neilan) reported from Edinburgh, ScotlandHi @virginmedia it seems channel 160 is no longer authorised? (for me). Called 150, got text with link to check, advice? Call after 8am tomorrow. Any info on the issue much appreciated thanks
-
bruce findlay 🟢 power to the people ✌ (@brucerisk) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@kaniep @virginmedia There are no issues and I am sure it is a scam. It's quite uncanny how many 'scam/ fraudulent ' calls I get to both my landline and mobile phones ...strange days indeed !
-
Philippa Wright (@philippawrightt) reported from Edinburgh, Scotland@virginmedia Read my tweet. I have been sent a “resolution” already. Which advised to return the box/speak to online chat if further issues. As I have pointed out multiple times I have already returned the box. This is absolutely infuriating at this point.
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Colin Fenn (@ColinFenn45) reported@virginmedia Hi, poor signal strength is wifi only, if I am streaming on my laptop it becomes unusable, with a msg not enough bandwidth, and will last for about 15mins. The signal strength notification struggles to make any bars, and eventually clears.
-
Hibernian (@EmbrayHotay) reportedVirgin Media shyte TV is a joke. You'd be convinced the issue was Elon Musk, and not the beheading.
-
Ania Sowinski (@AniaSowinski) reported@epwhamilton @virginmedia I am having the same issue! It’s nothing to do with my hub and @virginmedia refusing to acknowledge this
-
Mrs c (@w47carr) reported@virginmedia The reason I need to cancel is because we ad a bad thunderstorm and my tv hdmi ports are all broken so I can't watch the tivo box
-
Joe Parkinson (@Joeparki) reported@virginmedia can you confirm if broadband is down in WN3 area?
-

-
Youya (@MindOfYouya) reported@virginmedia this has become a weekly thing with your spotty internet connection! Please fix it, i am paying £40+ a month and having to deal with this nonsense!!!!
-
John Hawkes (@JohnHawkes2001) reported@Starlink I switched to Starlink and I absolutely love it. The performance has been incredible compared to the UK ISPs I’ve used. I was with Virgin Media, and Starlink beats it hands down for gaming and streaming. The connection is fast, reliable, and far more consistent than I expected from a satellite service. Another big advantage is that I no longer have to deal with the rip-off pricing and policies of many UK ISPs. And if you’ve ever tried leaving Virgin Media, you’ll know exactly what I mean, it can be an absolute nightmare. With Starlink, the whole experience feels much more straightforward and customer-friendly.
-
John O’Brennan (@JohnOBrennan2) reported@wattzez @ConorGallaghe_r @IrishTimes That is completely untrue. I was on Virgin Media TV Tuesday talking about the issue. Just before that programme RTE’s Prime Time did a segment. It is being very widely discussed.
