@VirginMENA @virginmobileusa @VirginMediaNews @VirginMediaIE @vmbusiness @VirginMediaCorp @VMSolutions_ @virginmedialife Once again I must congratulate @virginmedia on the ability of UK customer service to completely ignore my request. I’ve only been waiting since 18 March.

  • daly_manus
Manus Daly (@daly_manus) reported from Foyle Hill, Northern Ireland

@queenchristina_ @virginmedia I bet you would have a problem if you wanted to upgrade

  • davy_gallagher
David Gallagher (@davy_gallagher) reported from Eglinton, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia So you are now suggesting that I make a complaint about a complaint I’ve already made in Dec 2020. Recently I have been accused by your contractor of being dishonest I certainly hope that he has proof of his allegation. @BBCWatchdog

  • lordflamegx
Blake McCarthy (@lordflamegx) reported from Derry, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia is there a current outage going in NI? Lost our connection atm

  • karldbradley
Karl (@karldbradley) reported from Derry, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Internet speed has been terrible for over a week, to the point I have to use my 4G at home. Have had constant problems with it since sign up.

  • Kevin__Harley
Kevin Harley (@Kevin__Harley) reported from Culmore, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia All sorted guys. My bad. There was a router software update going through and I didn’t see the lights flashing.

  • davy_gallagher
David Gallagher (@davy_gallagher) reported from Eglinton, Northern Ireland

@DMFotoNI @virginmedia The reason I ask is I changed completely to VM about a year ago and I find it good with two exceptions 1. Mobile coverage is poor. I’ve just changed to Sky which piggybacks the O2 network. 2. If you have an issue VM customer service is diabolical.

  • davy_gallagher
David Gallagher (@davy_gallagher) reported from Derry, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia I have emailed this morning and like many other times I have not received a reply. My recent dates of contact are 11/3, 25/3, 30/3, 31/3, 1/4 and 12/4. My email today outlines my intention to escalate my complaint and instigate legal action for the damage to my garden.

  • davy_gallagher
David Gallagher (@davy_gallagher) reported from Eglinton, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Right I’ve just wasted another hour and a half waiting to speak to one of your agents and once again I’ve been fobbed off with the old line “I understand your grievance and I’ll look into it” if I’m to believe that there must be a lot of VM staff looking into my problem.

  • JasonMcIntosh88
Jason McIntosh (@JasonMcIntosh88) reported from Derry, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Nope, apparently there’s nothing any of the eight of your colleagues can do. I’ve been advised I should phone the engineer who did the original installation directly to see if he can help. Sounds ridiculous, right...?!

  • karldbradley
Karl (@karldbradley) reported from Derry, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Issue is over my WiFi, had a look and everything seems to be ok using my post code on that link.

  • davy_gallagher
David Gallagher (@davy_gallagher) reported from Eglinton, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia @BBCWatchdog Once again I must compliment VM customer services on their ability to ignore my messages for 10 consecutive days. I have received an auto response first thing in the morning asking if I still needed help but alas that’s where the contact ends.

  • JasonMcIntosh88
Jason McIntosh (@JasonMcIntosh88) reported from Derry, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Apparently Covid means you’re limiting engineer visits where possible! So now I’m paying for services I can’t use, and nobody in your call centres will help at all.

  • davy_gallagher
David Gallagher (@davy_gallagher) reported from Eglinton, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia That’s very good but it’s not a reflection of your (non) customer service.

  • davy_gallagher
David Gallagher (@davy_gallagher) reported from Eglinton, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia @BBCWatchdog Well what can I say, the level of customer service from VM has once again excelled all expectations but I would be telling lies just like VM do. Despite numerous verbal and written promises you have failed to resolve the issue.

  • jennysinead
Jenny (@jennysinead) reported from Derry, Northern Ireland

I ordered @virginmedia 10 days ago. I’ve had 4 points of contact since. And not once was I told that my address wasn’t able to get broadband. They even had engineers out to check, but never bothered to let me know, until today, installation day.

  • davy_gallagher
David Gallagher (@davy_gallagher) reported from Eglinton, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Once again trying to contact your customer service takes me 51 minutes then a further 14 minutes to be given the same excuse/response/answer again.

  • jennysinead
Jenny (@jennysinead) reported from Derry, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia On 3 occasions I wasn’t made aware of the issues with my street, and was lead to believe there was no problems, never mind received promotional leaflets to my address. Now I have no internet with two babies. But thanks for the pathetic apology @virginmedia

  • davy_gallagher
David Gallagher (@davy_gallagher) reported from Eglinton, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Firstly I noticed you removed @BBCWatchdog from your reply. My initial request was 2/12/20, this was followed up by several messages, my complaint was made on 7/1/21 and the reply stated it would be addressed within 28 days. During this time I sent 2 reminder emails.

  • PeterCa35536841
    Peter Carr (@PeterCa35536841) reported

@djspeedy34 @virginmedia Don't, I did it 2 months ago & now lose wifi every night from 10pm until 6am. 4 engineers checked the issues, still there

  • sharonmariahall
    Sharon Hall (@sharonmariahall) reported

@virginmedia i emailed a complaint on your webform on 3 April. Why have i never received a reply? Please dont ask me to send you a direct message. I have and again, not received a response. Your customer service is non existent.

@virginmedia & @O2 are the two worst companies ever to deal with. Absolutely shocking service.!! 🖕🖕

  • M1Rioja
    🇬🇧 Rioja😺Chianti😽 Dracula🐱Chablis🌈 (@M1Rioja) reported

@virginmedia (p2) He signed me up. Two days later I went into your O2 Store to cancel the phone part, took an hour, yet you still took £18.70 from my account and only refunded £17.40. I still haven't had a cancellation email for a broadband I did not take up. Fraudulent Underhand
