@virginmedia Yes absolutely, soon as we landed I got the message saying I was in Greece and could use my mobile exactly the same as in the UK. At no point did it say to check for other countries in case they stole my network! I had been on the same network all week from 26th August

  • HibbsA
Anthony Hibbs (@HibbsA) reported from Newcastle-under-Lyme District, England

@Paulout @BT @virginmedia I can’t believe how bad BT have been over this. Advisors just seem to want to keep you talking even after taking 20+ mins to get through and then do nothing for you. Proper fed up 🙁

  • AndyType2
Andy (@AndyType2) reported from Newcastle-under-Lyme District, England

@virginmedia Wanted to thank the lady that helped me today. The call ended and it was not me, and I really wanted to thank her. Hopefully you will pass it on, she hung on to the bitter death to help.

@virginmedia I have been trying to sort out the issue off my password not working and the internet dropping out for over a week. I am getting passed around in circles. Please can you tell me how much notice I need give to leave and also give me an email for complaints please

  • LesChaplin
Les Chaplin (@LesChaplin) reported from Stoke-on-Trent, England

@virginmedia I am not stupid I get that! However, the text I received said welcome to Greece you can use your phone exactly the same as if in the uk so I had absolutely no reason to switch roaming off when I never left the resort. I have kept the texts which state exactly that

  • Andreaeday
Andrea Day (@Andreaeday) reported from Biddulph, England

@virginmedia 2/2 when modem mode was suggest I was just told it “turns off WiFi” - no help on how to fix. VPN is common from domestic WiFi - you should be clear and transparent to customers that you don’t support rather than charging for gadget rescue for something that can’t be fixed.

  • whipblue
Julie Leech (@whipblue) reported from Newcastle-under-Lyme District, England

Matt Harrison (@paramattharri84) reported from Stoke-on-Trent, England

@virginmedia No! I'm not a customer its @KezMH who you need to apologise to. Seemingly your lack of ability to even read this thread properly emphasises your lack of ability to provide acceptable customer service
