  • TheLensman
Mark ODonnell (@TheLensman) reported from Crewe, England

@virginmedia The number used 01455443469 in the UK. They said they had detected problems on our router & wanted to help. They asked me to enter a web site. Having spent almost 40 years in IT I felt it was wrong. The router does have slow moments but I had not reported it.

  • andytideswell
Cook Pass Babtridge (@andytideswell) reported from Stoke-on-Trent, England

@virginmedia absolutely awful service. So much for looking after elderly and vulnerable customers. Trying to sell services that are not needed or wanted.

  • PlumbousSkin
    💻gremlins r us💻 (@PlumbousSkin) reported from Stoke-on-Trent, England

@virginmedia I experience this problem all the time. Our phones dont connect, our internet randomly drops out, this isnt a new problem. Just a frustrating one. Everytime we 'monitor it for a week then check back' nothing is ever fixed. Its just a bad service in general.

  • mbusby993
𝕸𝖆𝖙𝖙🏳️‍🌈 (@mbusby993) reported from Mow Cop, England

Hey @virginmedia, please install fibre lines in Mow Cop (ST7) so I can get rid of PlusNet. Had to change from Virgin Broadband when we moved, and I never had a single issue. Sick of PlusNet outages now.

  • Rocketman_86
    Rocketman_86 (@Rocketman_86) reported from Stoke-on-Trent, England

@virginmedia Yes. No human tone. No customer service. The usual have you tried changing the batteries in your phone, could it be your handset etc ( they bought new ones 6/7 week ago thinking it was them) may be they should ask Virgin Media to reimburse them

  • Andreaeday
Andrea Day (@Andreaeday) reported from Biddulph, England

@virginmedia 2/2 when modem mode was suggest I was just told it “turns off WiFi” - no help on how to fix. VPN is common from domestic WiFi - you should be clear and transparent to customers that you don’t support rather than charging for gadget rescue for something that can’t be fixed.

  • chasplummer1
chas plummer (@chasplummer1) reported from Newcastle-under-Lyme District, England

@virginmedia 2 days intermittent internet service. Website not available to register complaints

  • Laaana_bananaaa
    🍃Lana Banana🍂 (@Laaana_bananaaa) reported from Stoke-on-Trent, England

How ******** can Virgin Media say it's too expensive to connect us with WiFi in this area and would take them years to earn it back, when other people in the smae street have it!!??? 🙃😠

@drummerwhitey @northernsky67 @virginmedia Steve it was a last resort for me but other avenues were fruitless, I ended up getting a visit from an engineer , a booster and a reduction in my tariff after I told them I’d leave , normal customer service is dreadful, keep on pushing them

@virginmedia incredibly poor customer service. Recently purchased a wifi router which has broken and isn't working and the earliest you can send someone out is Wednesday? To then have a customer service agent try and sell me a "priority" booking service for Monday is appalling.
