    @virginmedia Nope... back home after being out since 7am. And guess what... no virgin broadband... Still. I can't work. I can't stream. I can't log into the EA/STEAM apps to play games on my pc. Thanks for putting my costs up and dropping the service @virginmedia

    @virginmedia The number used 01455443469 in the UK. They said they had detected problems on our router & wanted to help. They asked me to enter a web site. Having spent almost 40 years in IT I felt it was wrong. The router does have slow moments but I had not reported it.

    @virginmedia why was I not informed of changes to my package. I’ve got the full house package which included kids tv. Name changed to maxit and now no kids Tv. Thank god we have amazon and Netflix which has kids stuff on. Don’t watch either on Virgin as it’s so slow.

    @Ofcom how the hell can @virginmedia seriously refuse to allow customers to raise a complaint??? This is bloody awful!!!!!!! Two calls and both calls refuse to allow me to raise a formal complaint!!! Both call takers clearly in a different country and have issues understanding

    @virginmedia I am not stupid I get that! However, the text I received said welcome to Greece you can use your phone exactly the same as if in the uk so I had absolutely no reason to switch roaming off when I never left the resort. I have kept the texts which state exactly that

    @sephiroth17181 @virginmedia The actual faults were both properties (70 miles apart!) bad power amplifiers along the cable itself underground to the cabinet which required senior network engineers to come out & replace them. Haven’t used them since (2010 was last time) because they dragged feet for so long.

    @ZDangermouse @virginmedia If you have a decent data plan, you can use your phone as a hot spot for your smart tv. I’ve done it for an Xbox a few times when my internet went out. Games are a little slow, but Netflix and other streaming services were good when I did it.

    @itsuu___ yeah its a DNS or routing issue on virgin media's end. because the VPN connection is working all traffic is routed through that on the virgin media side. so to them they are connecting you to vpn, then it's the vpn that's connecting you to twitter.
