-
Les Chaplin (@LesChaplin) reported from Stoke-on-Trent, England
@virginmedia I am not stupid I get that! However, the text I received said welcome to Greece you can use your phone exactly the same as if in the uk so I had absolutely no reason to switch roaming off when I never left the resort. I have kept the texts which state exactly that
-

Hey @virginmedia, please install fibre lines in Mow Cop (ST7) so I can get rid of PlusNet. Had to change from Virgin Broadband when we moved, and I never had a single issue. Sick of PlusNet outages now.

Adam Bocca (@adam_bocca) reported from Stoke-on-Trent, England
@virginmedia I signed up and got my install on Saturday the 2nd. I was trying to login to my account via the App and through a webpage with me not hearing anything regarding my first billing process And it's not letting me do so I just get an error message saying that my user does not exist.
-
Matt (@shent) reported from Stoke-on-Trent, England
@virginmedia Unfortunately not, I even gave two phone numbers and an email, just want to know if there is an issue local to me or if it’s a network issue, I can deal with downtime but drop outs and high latency really are frustrating, can’t really have another half a day off work...
-
Les Chaplin (@LesChaplin) reported from Stoke-on-Trent, England
@McGiff @virginmedia I am having exactly the same problem over roaming charges for a country I’ve not been anywhere near a, appalling service and been told tough pay or they take me to court! At my wits end!

-
Andy Picken (@andyvic7) reported from Stoke-on-Trent, England
@virginmedia I’m sick of resetting that hub it’s supposed to be 100mb fibre I had less trouble with my dial up! Do you supply boosters as you can take it out before I spend money to make up for your awful service
-
Tiny Tog (@Tiny_Tog) reported from Stoke-on-Trent, England

-
Les Chaplin (@LesChaplin) reported from Stoke-on-Trent, England
@virginmedia Yes absolutely, soon as we landed I got the message saying I was in Greece and could use my mobile exactly the same as in the UK. At no point did it say to check for other countries in case they stole my network! I had been on the same network all week from 26th August
-
Anthony Hibbs (@HibbsA) reported from Newcastle-under-Lyme District, England
@Paulout @BT @virginmedia I can’t believe how bad BT have been over this. Advisors just seem to want to keep you talking even after taking 20+ mins to get through and then do nothing for you. Proper fed up 🙁
-
Tiny Tog (@Tiny_Tog) reported from Stoke-on-Trent, England
@virginmedia @virginmedia I’m glad it sorted itself out as the customer service woman said id need a new hub which she said she’d order and would arrive Tuesday (6/8/19). Which it hasn’t. I’m glad I didn’t need it #virginmedia

@virginmedia our 18 month contract was up and went from £26 to £35 a month.. ever since this, our service has been rubbish. So we are now paying more than we were before and new customers.. for a worse service? How does this work.
-
Sir Ellen 💙🐝🇺🇦 (@ellen_mac3) reported
@virginmedia Thanks that worked. Spoke to someone about it yesterday and the fix isn’t due to be completed until 5/9. I need the internet for work, is there anything I can do to speed this up? I’m having to use mobile data while paying for something that doesn’t work.
-
Tannice (@Tannice_) reported
Hey @virginmedia I really need to speak to a human being to explain my issue with my wifi dropping out all the time but this is not possible. I have called your phone lines, done all the troubleshooting and am now at a loss and struggling because I am working from home.

@virginmedia hi. I want to cancel my broadband contract but have been unable to get through on the phone line/ you don't have an email/ don't allow this over live chat. You gave an address for me to write to, which I did, and it has been returned to sender.
-
martydrury (@martydrury) reported
@virginmedia are you doing work in Cardiff area? My broadband down since midnight. Your website says work is happening in my area but I wasn’t told and the link on your website goes to an error page.
-
Karrie H-R 🏳️🌈 (@KarrieH_R) reported
@virginmedia one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. 1. Messed up my set up date. 2. Assured me my current house connections were ok and I didn’t need an engineer - they’re not. 3. Almost impossible to speak to customer service, repeatedly passed to another person… 1/2
-
Liam Daly (@liamdaly) reported
@virginmedia i tried to text to change my direct debit and never got a response. I was told I could change it online if I made a payment, this was a lie and I couldn’t. Now I’ve been charged twice this month. It is RIDICULOUS you can’t change DD date online in 2022.
