Poe{t}ech (@Poetech3) reported from Bollington, England
@virginmedia No, because complaining won’t get the b/b installed and faster. Install supposed to be happening tomorrow after letting us down on 7 Dec and all the talking etc in between. Feel there’s a absolutely no point complaining. We just want b/b and don’t want to go to Sky.

Poe{t}ech (@Poetech3) reported from Bollington, England
@virginmedia Yes, someone to tell me what happens when there’s no cable to pull (your website said service was available). Waited in, engineer just drove off without any explanation. Had to spend hours at call centre. Want install to happen but can’t understand process & no one will explain.
-
Jacqui Riley (@cajriley51) reported from Stoke-on-Trent, England
@virginmedia Why cant someone just ring me so I can actually explain what the problem is. When I try and light in it does not recognize my mothers maiden name and I'm sure I have got that right so then I cant get any further

@virginmedia It might be best if you send a DM - we had a phone call from people who said they were virgin support. We have a phone number but the call felt wrong
-
BG (@benj_greenhalgh) reported from Wilmslow, England
@virginmedia Please could you provide an update as to why there’s no internet in the Wilmslow area again? I rely greatly on broadband to carry out my job, it’s unacceptable for this to happen without warning, time and time again, with no idea of when the service will resume.
-
Steve Bland (@blandsteve) reported from Knutsford, England
@virginmedia Yes. No issues identified.
-
SBJ💙 (@SharonJukes) reported from Stoke-on-Trent, England
Two days have now passed and they have heard nothing. They have no phone or internet and Dad is 80. Please can someone contact me and I will provide further details by DM. This is poor service for what you class as a vulnerable age group. I have tried to call you #virginmedia
-
Poe{t}ech (@Poetech3) reported from Bollington, England
@virginmedia Have been texting that no since 09:30 - this is after countless message threads, call centres, live chats and everyone says what you are saying and passes me on. No offence, and I appreciate you’re trying to help, but I can’t have another hours-long thread or multi-day live chat.

-
Richard Shuttleworth (@shuttsi77) reported from Wilmslow, England
@virginmedia as a loyal customer for years I diligently upgraded broadband to improve it throughout my home. In a small home there are black spots that I am told I need to pay extra for to get boosters. So I need to pay even more to get your service to work? Hmmm...? CICAS @Ofcom
-
Mark ODonnell (@TheLensman) reported from Crewe, England
@virginmedia The number used 01455443469 in the UK. They said they had detected problems on our router & wanted to help. They asked me to enter a web site. Having spent almost 40 years in IT I felt it was wrong. The router does have slow moments but I had not reported it.

Chris Russell (@Chris_M_Russell) reported
@virginmedia Would love to, but I've cut off 6 times, passed around 6 people and nobody seems to be able to fix anything for me. I don't have 3 hours to spend trying to sort this out on the phone being passed back and forth. And I get told I have to pay £90 to cancel? Cannot believe the cheek
-
Hubrishunter (@hubrishunter) reported
@virginmedia it is disgraceful you have someone on a chat for 12 hours trying to leave your service and then the next day instead of movers you have me on to a retentions team. Plus another security check (3) with the same company on the same chat #virginmedia
-
Mental health journey (@Mentalhealthjo5) reported
I actually hate being on @virginmedia. The worst service in my area. A top day of sport planned and work but I can’t do either. Could accept this if it was a one off outage but this is the 6th over summer and all conveniently fixed before they can compensate for loss of service
-
James Hulley (@jedhulley) reported
@virginmedia I can't get someone to help with my query through WhatsApp. I have been through the whole process several times now
-
Stu Hill (@CanaryStu) reported

-
katie felix (@terrykatiefelix) reported
@virginmedia Hi there, Since Monday 22 August the tv service pixelated and the broad band kept dropping out. We were advised it was an outage issue that the virgin engineers were working to resolve by 1st September. Since 1st of September the tv and broadband stopped working entirely.
-
Jess Adams (@JessLeighA) reported from Ketteringham, England
@Jake_BHughes @virginmedia apparently we have a blockage where they need to connect us, which is what we would need fixing by thursday. being that unreliable we decided to cancel everything with them fully. a shame because what they offered was great. customer service department is not easy to get round 😭
-
O.W.L.A (one world libertarian anarchism) (@LydonJC) reported
@virginmedia Is that why you've shut my broadband down?
-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England
@virginmedia Telling me an engineer will come next week now, not good enough. Waited in all morning for one that never came and still no service.
-
