@virginmedia Unbelievable, you've sent me a dongle to connect a landline too the broadband on the 6th , so the phone line isnt going to work, though not much help on 150 as they abruptly cut you off. Website is also down.

  • NellyOcker
Neil Cocker (@NellyOcker) reported from Urmston, England

@virginmedia I can never get to speak to someone who fully understands me because all your call centres are now sourced overseas.I need a Manager to ring me ASAP please. Not happy whatsoever how I’ve been treated it’s not acceptable to be treated with ill manners 😡

  • Lanky2711
Mike Long (@Lanky2711) reported from Urmston, England

@virginmedia your service is crap 💩 internet down, tv down trying to work! You should pay for my McDonald’s as it’s the only place I can get on line to work.

  • ErHes1997
Emily (@ErHes1997) reported from Timperley, England

How can @virginmedia say "yes there's a problem in your area, we expect it to be fixed on Wednesday"... 5 days is a joke when you'll never see that money returned to you for lack of service provided

  • NellyOcker
Neil Cocker (@NellyOcker) reported from Urmston, England

@virginmedia also since my contract inception May I’ve had no 5G or 4G just 3G which is extremely slow when processing fast is needed. Extremely poor & I’m a long standing loyal customer of Virgin Media for over 20 years when it was called Cable Wireless (NTL)😡

  • NellyOcker
Neil Cocker (@NellyOcker) reported from Urmston, England

@virginmedia so much for Virgin Media to ring me yesterday Friday 6th Aug over three complaints. Phone call from Customer Services never came to fruition .. Not a happy chappie 😳😡

  • twiddlemeister
Dave/Давид 🇺🇦 (@twiddlemeister) reported from Cheadle Hulme, England

@virginmedia FYI, there’s an SK8 outage since approximately 4pm and you’re not reporting it on your outage checker. Multiple reports around here. Please get someone on it.

  • _AdamGardiner
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia You’re not understanding. I do contact when the issue is happening, your advisor then fixes it, but it then happens again within 24 hours. I need a ‘once and for all’ fix. Not this whack a mole approach you’ve had so far.

  • Barber1Paul
Paul Barber (@Barber1Paul) reported from Stockport, England

@virginmedia really upset regards service as a long-standing account holder, had problems for months found out old ntl cable problem connection outside- need to update TiVo boxes and need pods as mentioned by engineers- ring up no help !!!!

  • _Hill_J
Jamie Hill (@_Hill_J) reported from Wilmslow, England

@Defencebrief @virginmedia I, too, am a previous virgin media customer. They put the price up ridiculously. When I asked to renew the contract at the price advertised online, they refused. So I left. At which point I was bombarded with offers. Not a good way of treating customer or doing business.

  • NeilAshtonActor
Neil Ashton (@NeilAshtonActor) reported from Stockport, England

@jimmyoates @virginmedia Same James. Same area and it’s not been working for an hour. It says on their website no issues in the area but not had any service.

  • Samuel_J_Mc
Sam (@Samuel_J_Mc) reported from Timperley, England

@virginmedia customer service is so ****. They just transfer you round to different departments

  • _AdamGardiner
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia It works intermittently. When I speak to an advisor they fix the issue at that moment. Then, the next day it’ll cut out again and the process repeats. It was working when the engineer left, but it didn’t last 24 hours. Intermittent isn’t good enough. I rely on you for work.

  • KerryKez7
Kerry Louise (@KerryKez7) reported from Urmston, England

Don’t ever get Virgin Media internet/WIFI it’s SO garbage & keeps going off especially when your watching something WTF & apparently it’s the most up to date & according to them it’s the best NO it’s not plus it’s expensive for being SO c**p 🤬💷😤

  • ShanRebec94

  • daviesa02
    Alex Davies (@daviesa02) reported

@virginmedia an engineer visited over the weekend to install my broadband, but the external work wasn’t finished. CS booked another engineer for today, but they don’t need them anymore because the roadworks are is being completed today. £25 to cancel myself, can this be sorted?

  • BirchillsBoy
    BirchillsBoy (@BirchillsBoy) reported

It's later this month I can put my notice in with Virgin Media. £40 a month for just broadband is too much. Speed is fast and the service has been good, but I am now running a 5G router alongside from Three at £11 a month rising to £22 next year. Similar speeds. Financial decision.

  • VirginMediaNews
    Virgin Media News (@VirginMediaNews) reported

First-time drug possession may no longer mean prosecution. From today, adults caught with a small amount of drugs for personal use may instead be referred to the HSE for support. They must admit the drugs were for their own use and agree to take part in the scheme. More on Virgin Media PLAY.

Hello I've had no internet for a week now I had a engineer come out on Wednesday the 26 and he said I need a new wire as the one outside was cut by workmen and another engineer came out on Thursday and I've heard nothing since help please @virginmedia

  • William232393
    William (@William232393) reported

I had Virgin Media - for 10 hours, I also had Virgin Money, I will never EVER touch anything at all with Virgin in front of its name.

  • AstonVillaDoge
    Unainstein (@AstonVillaDoge) reported

So done with @virginmedia, live chat is useless, offer you absolutely terrible deals 'Your renewal offer will be £15 a month more than you currently pay, despite above inflation cost increases every April and you will receive nothing extra in return. This is our biggest discount'

  • MarinaRobb
    Marina Robb (@MarinaRobb) reported

@MelJanie @virginmedia Tellingly, the engineer who eventually came out (I'd already cancelled the service) said they still had to fit the back up line as they'd been fined £28 million by the regulator. Appalling customer service though.

  • jdonascimento
    Jenny Do Nascimento (@jdonascimento) reported

I moved house on August 28th and Virgin Media has been unable to connect my internet service. It's terrible service; I've wasted hours talking to them with no results. @Virgin #England

  • GauBan
    GauBan_Penguin 🐧*Audio Description: Blue Tick* (@GauBan) reported

Virgin Media/O2 service event to **** when they started using the same type of call centres that Scammer PayBack would have interest in.

  • Malcolm_Sillick
    Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE Lellani, it's not just EE, it's everyone. Even those on cable (Virgin Media) still have to have the phone plugged into the router. Seems like a good idea, until you get a power cut (which can be supported by a back-up battery, which is NOT given as standard) If the internet goes down, then so does your phone. Great if you have a mobile, but if you live in an area with a poor mobile signal, so reply on 'Wi-Fi calling' in the house, then when the internet goes down, you also have no mobile service. It's called progress!!
