    @virginmedia This is the exact type of poor service I received when I called customer service. The package I am currently on is £89 for a new customer, but £129 for a loyal customer. The response back was “that’s all I can do”. Your response is almost as bad “don’t like it, raise a complaint”

    @virginmedia So me as a customer who don’t know this information, and searches your customer number after you don’t provide your services, been kept 40mins on phone line and then get phone put down from your staff. Brilliant!!!

    @virginmedia I don’t. When I submitted the complaint (2nd) I chose the telephone call option, using my home number. I haven’t received any call to date!!

    @virginmedia Thank you for your response. I have submitted a complaint, although I’ve no response to that either. Our internet is shocking and we’ve got a temp fix outside which needs to be made permanent from 4 wks ago. Paying a lot for nothing currently

    @virginmedia I get the same result hard wired with Ethernet too. It’s not a wifi issue. Also I’m not sure how wifi would decide to ignore an increase in speed and decide to limit itself to the old speed coincidentally. Someone on your end hasn’t enabled the faster speed to my property.

    @immihepburn @virginmedia I few for you, same happened to me as well. After 40 mins on the phone , charging me £8 to call customer number, their staff put the phone down on me . TERRIBLE SERVICE

    @nickleeland @virginmedia I asked to speak to someone that could help and got “my supervisor is on 14 day isolation”. Ok put him on the phone as I’m guessing he can work from home? Computer says no! Poor poor service!

    @virginmedia The text messaging team that says it aims to respond within 4 hours but hasn’t responded to me since 11am yesterday? Basically I have no option now but to sit on hold in a queue for 30+ mins to fix a problem you’ve created by not upgrading me. Your customer service is awful.

    @virginmedia There’s no known issues. I shouldn’t have to spend 30 mins on hold trying to get through to you to have an issue corrected that hasn’t been done as part of my contract agreement. Shouldn’t you be able to call customers when you have an agent free who can make outgoing calls?

    Great work from @virginmedia, your contract has expired, we want you to stay as a customer, we’ll give you the best deal out there! Give them a call, sorry can’t help, you’re on the best package, but we want to charge you £40 a month more than a new customer! #shitshow

    Nearly a week after signing up to a new contract with @virginmedia they’ve still not upgraded my speed to what we agreed to. Their Twitter support refuses to acknowledge the issue and my complaint hasn’t been picked up yet. I guess they don’t care once a contract is agreed.

    Truly appalling customer service from @virginmedia. Due an engineer visit today: he’s just rung to say your call centre raised the job incorrectly and he’s not coming as they don’t carry the stock any more. No apology, no lifeline, no empathy. Shocking.

    @virginmedia Hi. I'd like to know why you think its acceptable to make us wait 3 weeks to check our cables when our WiFi has lost connection, then continue to take payment, then not turn up on the 15th as scheduled. Absolutely terrible service. Once it's sorted I'll be leaving.

    @virginmedia I had broadband services installed on 11th of October and decided to cancel them on the very next day 12th of October, using my 14 days cooling off period rights. Instead I recieved a £121 bill. Made a complaint, but recieved an email it has been closed. What a joke!

    @virginmedia I have just bumped into the engineer sent out to investigate the fault in the area. He is the only person from Virgin who has been honest about the problem & why the fix date keeps getting pushed back. If only you & every other virgin rep I have had contact with ...1/2
