    @virginmedia I’ve just connected a new router for faster speeds and it isn’t working. I’ve called up and your customer services person who told me contradictory information, put me on hold and then hung up on me.

    @virginmedia If that was the only issue than yes that would be the logical next step. But as you’ll see from the previous tweets and email sent on Wednesday it isn’t. All the issues need dealing with in the round or otherwise I’ll have to cancel and go back to sky.

    @bazza141 @virginhelp @virginmedia Join the club. I spent over 1hr 30 mins trying to get a issue resolved . I kept getting through to their over-seas call centres . It took almost 20 call re-tries to get through to a young lady over in Newcastle 😳😞. It's rediculous that they got call centres in 17 countries.

    @virginmedia Yes, tried last night and your service status page was actually down. Today I checked and it showed no issues, I run the diagnostic and no issues either. Came back up late this afternoon.

    @virginmedia is unbelievable that our Internet is so poor, trying to contact someone via phone on numerous occasions waiting for over 45 minutes to speak with someone. Still haven't been able to get through to anyone.

    @stetopping Remember you did the piece late last year about Virgin Media Broadband being out for a day? It's now been down for six days in some parts of Manchester. Six full days and not a word from the company except automated messages.

    @virginmedia I wascharged for non return of property apparently even when I had made arrangements for collection . Received a cheque but in my maiden name .sent another proof of marriage a covering letter and returned the cheque , this was from August!made complaint still no cheque

    @virginmedia Already reported the broadband issues, and it's an issue where estimated fix times keep getting pushed back. With regards to mobile issues, this has been around the same length of time. The only way I've been able to get any connection at all is by switching to 3G

    @virginmedia No I’m aware of the power outage so all I want to do is watch tv which is fine. There’s no internet yet, it’s the message constantly flashing up on the screen that’s annoying. Once u have seen it once, u shouldn’t need to see it again, but every 10 seconds it’s there

    @_kerryking_ @AndrewPittman2 @virginmedia Mine has just been fixed if you have a splitter (big white box) check the power plug there should be a green light on it if not thats the problem (which i had) if you dont have a splitter box i aint got a clue

    @Benleo I think these big comp that operate in the uk should be banned from using overseas call centres,I left virgin because their customer service was atrocious joined youfibre only to find out they have been bought out by virgin media and now I’m sure they use the same call centres.

    @Benleo @virginmedia Avoid like the plague, if you move house before your contract is up & they don’t supply their service in your new area, they expect you to keep paying for receiving nothing, often 18 - 24 month contracts & they don’t make this clear. Sketchy service with sketchy coverage

    @Benleo @virginmedia Sky are no better, impossible to get to speak with anyone from their call centre that actually speaks clear English. I admit I've put the phone down several times because I cannot understand a word they say.

    @Benleo @ChrisSleven @virginmedia I concur......Virgin are crap...and I moved to Sky at the earliest chance I could....but can also say Sky aren't much better - and they both make it as difficult as possible to actually talk to someone if you have a problem - I would say though that Virgin are the worst
