    @virginmedia we have been trying to arrange our virgin services to be moved to our new house since 23/11/20. We were supposed to get a call back from one of your guys yesterday to help with a self install - no joy. Since yesterday I’ve spent over 3 hours on hold, been.......1/4

    @virginmedia Bet you anything they won’t I’m sorry to say. Never known a change in contract to take a week. Normally done there and then on the phone. The lady didn’t mention anything about this being the case. What now? I’m not waiting a week I’m afraid.

    @virginmedia The hold times aren’t the issue. I’d wait happily if I got an answer at the end. The issue is being hung up on after an hour then having a call answered only to have to listen to dead air for over 30 minutes while whoever is supposed to be helping has forgotten to logout ....1/2

    @virginmedia ....before going to lunch. Your system is set to terminate unanswered calls after just over an hour. This is much more enraging than having to wait in a queue. We’re British, it’s what we do. We DO NOT HANG UP on people. It is beyond rude. #rude #virginmediasuck #stillnointernet

    @virginmedia I don’t. When I submitted the complaint (2nd) I chose the telephone call option, using my home number. I haven’t received any call to date!!

    Anyone else who gave their details to track and trace suddenly being spammed with fake email accounts, and bombarded with phone calls from fake VirginMedia/BT claiming broadband speeds are up and down?

    @immihepburn @virginmedia I few for you, same happened to me as well. After 40 mins on the phone , charging me £8 to call customer number, their staff put the phone down on me . TERRIBLE SERVICE

    @virginmedia So me as a customer who don’t know this information, and searches your customer number after you don’t provide your services, been kept 40mins on phone line and then get phone put down from your staff. Brilliant!!!

    @virginmedia This is the exact type of poor service I received when I called customer service. The package I am currently on is £89 for a new customer, but £129 for a loyal customer. The response back was “that’s all I can do”. Your response is almost as bad “don’t like it, raise a complaint”

    @nickleeland @virginmedia I asked to speak to someone that could help and got “my supervisor is on 14 day isolation”. Ok put him on the phone as I’m guessing he can work from home? Computer says no! Poor poor service!

    @virginmedia Hi John. Still no resolution I’m afraid. It’s getting closer to next bill date. Which BTW I’ve received two bills for. One at £27.49 and the other £113.00 and a double bill request which is laughable! I still don’t get why the next gen box is influencing my request. Today please

    @virginmedia Another issue is if I were to get a phone call in a weeks time I cannot just stop the job I do to answer it. Where will we be then? Having worked for Virgin I know exactly what’s going to happen. This won’t get sorted until my new bill gets paid for services I don’t want ....

    Great work from @virginmedia, your contract has expired, we want you to stay as a customer, we’ll give you the best deal out there! Give them a call, sorry can’t help, you’re on the best package, but we want to charge you £40 a month more than a new customer! #shitshow

    @virginmedia Thank you for your response. I have submitted a complaint, although I’ve no response to that either. Our internet is shocking and we’ve got a temp fix outside which needs to be made permanent from 4 wks ago. Paying a lot for nothing currently

    Truly appalling customer service from @virginmedia. Due an engineer visit today: he’s just rung to say your call centre raised the job incorrectly and he’s not coming as they don’t carry the stock any more. No apology, no lifeline, no empathy. Shocking.

    @virginmedia Having problems with wifi finally got through on the phone but could not understand the agents accent. Respectfully asked to speak to someone else but told that was not possible unfortunately I had to hang up as it became impossible to communicate.

    @virginmedia I have rang and rang to cancel my virgin media with you and set a cancellation date. The calls are well over two hours each and every time I’m told “I will transfer you to the disconnection service” I sit and wait over an hour for them to hang up. Disgusting sort it!

    @virginmedia Hi, we have your "Superfast broadband with average download speeds of 108Mbps", but it is massively below this. One moment it can be up to 25mbps, but then seconds later it'll drop down to 3.4kbps. It makes working from home and trying to play online games... (1/2)

    @callummarkie @virginmedia Thats so mad, we can't get @virginmedia down here, but after that I probably wouldn't even think of them . Is worth trying to cancel what you haven't got and try someone else?
