@virginmedia Hi. Is there a difference between cat 5E & cat6 & cat7 ethernet performance wise on your network 🤔. I'm using cat 6 ethernet from my hub 3.0 to your provided powerline booster . Then from powerline booster to my V6 box. I'm using cat7 ethernet from hub 3.0 to V6 🤔

@virginmedia you have left my 71 year old mother without internet and TV since 18th July due to a “problem in the area” and now you’re saying it won’t be fixed until 31st July? Two whole weeks you’ve left an elderly person completely isolated with no form of entertainment.

  • ScouseBouncy
Scouse House Bouncy Music (@ScouseBouncy) reported

@virginmedia Not my account so I can speak you about it. What happens though is, you start a stream and then it corrupts, goes to a black screen and goes to a “Error code: COMPO” then closes. This is not network related, it’s not a box issue. It is an issue with authentication

@Benleo Ben bring up your hub on virgin media I guarantee you it’s been hacked and you get a warning. This is happening all over London and I can’t get anybody to help me with it. Bring up your own Virgin media hub and you will see what I mean.

  • PariPassu_Rx
    Pari Passu Newsletter (@PariPassu_Rx) reported

Telefónica and Liberty Global are looking at ways to bring down the £22bn debt pile at Virgin Media O2, their UK joint venture, after a sharp sell-off in the company's bonds. A roughly $925mn unsecured note fell to as low as 57 cents on the dollar this week, down from about 78 at the start of July, and even the senior secured paper slipped. The measures under discussion include cutting the expected £200mn dividend, pulling back capex, and reducing headcount.
