  • carlroach Carl Roach (@carlroach) reported from Middleton, England

@virginmedia Hopefully. I realise that these things can be complicated and stuff does go wrong. It is the fact that there is no effective way of communicating with you as a customer that upsets me r most. It makes me feel that I am really of no value to you.

  • Cuttsrich rich cutts (@Cuttsrich) reported from Tyldesley, England

Its been a pain in the *** with broadband down all day working from home. But now no Joy of Painting with Bob Ross! It's not the despair that gets me down, it's the hope #virginmedia

  • salfordbeerfest Independent Salford Beer Festival 💙 (@salfordbeerfest) reported from Bolton, England

@johntweedie @frednfrank I've switched the router to Modem to get the signal to the 2nd floor loft. Allied to the self installed mesh network, that works well. The signal isn't now the issue. Being without services from @virginmedia 3 times in just over a week, is.

  • PIL0TPEDR0 Pete Best (Pil0t Pedr0)💙 (@PIL0TPEDR0) reported from Bolton, England

@virginmedia How long before the Internet problem is sorted out in the BL1 area going to take?

  • cooper_jackie jackie cooper (@cooper_jackie) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia unhappy I have to wait until next Thursday for someone to come fix 2 of my 3 tv boxes because of the outage they had on Thursday just gone. Customer service is not very good and nobody seems to listen given the amount of calls I made to them . Not happy

  • DebbieG_EA Debbie Grimshaw 🐝 (@DebbieG_EA) reported from Ashton-under-Lyne, England

@virginmedia what is going on in the M34 postcode? Slow internet speeds and unreliable connection for the past three weeks now. Virtually impossible to work from home 🤯

  • ThatGirlKatie80 Katie Mallon (@ThatGirlKatie80) reported from Salford, England

@virginmedia expect a call from me tomorrow cancelling my service. Third time this week now with the same Network Availability error. Right in the middle of a film. Tired of rebooting. Bye #virginmedia, hello #SKY 👋

  • cooper_jackie jackie cooper (@cooper_jackie) reported from Manchester, England

@lilacjennie @virginmedia Totally agree. Been with them for years and treat customers really bad.they only care about the money. See how they get on when I cancel my direct debit. Bet they will soon be on the phone trying to get payment

  • carlroach Carl Roach (@carlroach) reported from Middleton, England

@virginmedia The problem is not my broadband or home service, it is the mobile signal where I work. I can not use the VM app as this requires data to validate the SIM, how else can I contact customer services directly?

  • carlroach Carl Roach (@carlroach) reported from Middleton, England

@virginmedia I am fully aware of this webpage, if you follow through any of the options to get information or FAQs, but no way to actually connect with VM directly. I recently used the complaint option but just got a vague response that didn't help me with my concerns.

  • salfordbeerfest Independent Salford Beer Festival 💙 (@salfordbeerfest) reported from Bolton, England

@virginmedia Now showing estimated "fix" time of 16:00. 21 hours without "service". This. Is. Not. Funny.

  • salfordbeerfest Independent Salford Beer Festival 💙 (@salfordbeerfest) reported from Bolton, England

@virginmedia ANOTHER outage in BL4 9LR area? Are you kidding me? That's the fourth in just over a week. And the second today!

  • CurryInTurry DJ Nerja (@CurryInTurry) reported from Ashton-under-Lyne, England

@virginmedia @stewartbowie4 I'm afraid this is the new Virgin. Absolutely shocking customer service. I've been lied to and have numerous complaints in at the moment

  • BeefyBlueBanana Beefy Blue Banana (@BeefyBlueBanana) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia I've had someone else helping me on the post and the upstream/downstream/networklog is showing a very noisy line. The BQM looks really bad.

  • salfordbeerfest Independent Salford Beer Festival 💙 (@salfordbeerfest) reported from Bolton, England

@virginmedia If does now. 12:00. That's 17 hours without service.

  • BeefyBlueBanana Beefy Blue Banana (@BeefyBlueBanana) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia No use whatsoever I'm afraid. @virginmedia connection still completely unusable. Virgin contact number still not working. How am I supposed to get this sorted??

  • Cuttsrich rich cutts (@Cuttsrich) reported from Tyldesley, England

In 10+ yrs of having #virginmedia this is only second time TV service has been down. The broadband meanwhile is up n down like a dog at the fair

  • salfordbeerfest Independent Salford Beer Festival 💙 (@salfordbeerfest) reported from Bolton, England

@virginmedia That doesn't tell me anything. Just that the engineers ".. are working hard to fix it....." The service has been down since 7 last night. And no idea when it will be fixed. With zero redress after 4 incidents in a little over a week. Poor.

  • PIL0TPEDR0 Pete Best (Pil0t Pedr0)💙 (@PIL0TPEDR0) reported from Bolton, England

@virginmedia BL1 2NJ Still having problems with disconnecting and connecting, been like this for 4 hours. I have reset my router numerous times

  • salfordbeerfest Independent Salford Beer Festival 💙 (@salfordbeerfest) reported from Bolton, England

@johntweedie @frednfrank @virginmedia It may be 30 years old. Strangely, with BT (Cable), Sky (wired), never had issues.

  • AbheeStasha Stasha Abhee (@AbheeStasha) reported

@virginmedia How can there be no backup options in an emergency? Me getting updates as to when the internet comes back doesn’t address the problem of what can I do to make sure this doesn’t happen on my exam date? I’ll find out the reference number.

  • dianestokes Diane Stokes (@dianestokes) reported

Never fully realised how much @virginmedia rip existing customers off until now! Mums being quoted £140 to keep the same package she’s got now (renewal) which is £42 more than she’s already paying! but if a new customer comes along they can have all this & more for much less!

  • AbheeStasha Stasha Abhee (@AbheeStasha) reported

@virginmedia Yes it says broadband down aka outages - fix estimate: 18.00. What I would like to know is what are my back up options if I lose internet because of a Virgin Media Fault in WiFi? What do I do? Because a dongle is expensive and I’m a student and I already pay an expensive rate.
