Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England@virginmedia I was also promised a call back from a manager within 24 hours on a phone call on Friday afternoon. I did not receive this phone call. This is absolutely disgusting and I expect something to be done. I rely on your service for my income as I work from home. (2/3)
-
Mark Armstrong (@mark001282) reported from Manchester, England@virginmedia As I say. I don't like publicly shaming a company that was once good. But your customer service is an absolute disgrace
-
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England@virginmedia Will they help if the Wi-Fi is working at the time I call? Because my issue is that when it is working, your advisors consider their work done despite telling them that it usually doesn’t last. And invariable, it doesn’t.
-
Martyn The Driver (@martyn_driver) reported from Rochdale, England@virginmedia after 26 years as a loyal cable customer it is time to say goodbye. It would seem that loyalty is not rewarded, and you don't want low use customers
-
Scott Moseley (@roslers_vest) reported from Rochdale, England@virginmedia Yes currently showing resolution time of 0230 04/11 this is a really poor service it has been off for the majority of the day
-
Josh B (@JoshuaBurns) reported from Manchester, England@virginmedia on my second week of being a first time customer with you and my connection has been down for nearly 10 hours now. What’s going on?
-
Smyth Harper 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🇺🇦☘️ (@sharper76) reported from Manchester, England@virginmedia No it’s not, and it has now transpired that your customer services agent told me a direct lie that there was a fault in my area when there is not. Someone else has now booked an engineer to come out - next Wednesday. I can’t even have my heating on as that’s controlled vía wifi
-
Scott Moseley (@roslers_vest) reported from Rochdale, England@virginmedia well the woeful service in Heywood continues after “fixing” the fault this morning which resulted in me being unable to work from home the network has dropped again this evening absolutely shocking service
-
Scott Moseley (@roslers_vest) reported from Rochdale, England@bluecitygirl232 @virginmedia I had the same issue with them in December always down not reliable couldn’t WFH so binned them off went to BT and fingers crossed not had an issue to date

Gamepopper (@gamepopper) reported from Salford, England@virginmedia Oh, my bad. Apparently the wiring outside my house has a fault, someone did come last Monday to work on it,and someone was supposed to work on it for Thursday, but it keeps being pushed back (order ref 55230469).
-
Neil Ashton (@NeilAshtonActor) reported from Stockport, England@jimmyoates @virginmedia Same James. Same area and it’s not been working for an hour. It says on their website no issues in the area but not had any service.
-
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England@virginmedia my internet has been down since Friday afternoon. I was told it would be fixed in 24 hours, the time has since changed and is currently at 8pm this evening. I work from home so need my internet back up and running before Monday morning. This is disgraceful
-
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England@virginmedia See thread above, nothing changes except the time of the estimated fix. It must be very localised as not everyone in my area is affected. So if it is damaged cables, I haven’t seen anyone out repairing them over the weekend, it’s a joke
-
Daniel McDermott (@dantheman8t5) reported from Dukinfield, England@virginmedia Not as yet. Just that my postcode seems to be affected when checking service status
-
🦔🦊Johnny1983 🦝🐱 (Big Animal Lover🐕🐶🐁) (@JohnnyDude1983) reported from Bury, England@virginmedia Hi. Is there a difference between cat 5E & cat6 & cat7 ethernet performance wise on your network 🤔. I'm using cat 6 ethernet from my hub 3.0 to your provided powerline booster . Then from powerline booster to my V6 box. I'm using cat7 ethernet from hub 3.0 to V6 🤔
-
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England@virginmedia 2/2 who can I speak to as it was working fine on Friday until the issues that were nothing to do with me happened, so don’t see why I should now pay for a technician
-
Nick Lowden (@nick_lowden) reported from Manchester, England@virginmedia can’t get on service checker as app says it is out of service. Internet has gone down in M20 ?? When should it be fixed?

-
Mr Moanivator (@MrMoanivator) reported@virginmedia My broadband hasn't been working since around 11am today. All week, Virgin has said that work was due to be completed in my area around 11:15am today. It's now saying that the Hub is the problem. I've restarted and reset it, but it's still not working 🤬
-
Gary Adams (@GazzaAdams) reported@virginmedia I need this escalated as a formal complaint regarding fault **F012421201**, because the information Virgin Media is providing has now become demonstrably contradictory. At **08:01 today, 20 August**, Virgin Media told me: “Our engineer is on site and they're working to fix the problem.” The estimated repair time given was **18:00 today**. At **15:27 today**, after I have had intermittent service for most of the day and had to hotspot from my phone to be able to work, Virgin Media has now told me: “We have identified the problem and an engineer is on their way.” The estimated repair time has also been moved to **14:10 tomorrow, 21 August**. These statements cannot both accurately describe the progress of the same fault. An engineer who was already **on site and working on the problem at 08:01** cannot subsequently be **“on their way” at 15:27** without some explanation. I fully understand that a complex network fault may take longer to repair than initially anticipated, and that estimated restoration times can change. That is not my complaint. My complaint is that Virgin Media is repeatedly providing contradictory factual information about the status of the repair, while I remain without the service I am paying for. I consequently have no confidence in the estimated restoration times being provided. Please therefore: 1. **Log this as a formal complaint and provide me with the complaint reference.** 2. Confirm the actual current status of fault **F012421201**, rather than repeating the automated status information. 3. Explain how an engineer could be reported as on site and working at 08:01 but “on their way” at 15:27. 4. Confirm when the outage affecting my service officially began and that the full period of loss of service has been recorded against my account. 5. Confirm what automatic compensation I will be entitled to for the complete loss of service, where applicable. I have retained screenshots of the outage updates and their timestamps. Please respond to the specific points above rather than sending me another automated repair estimate.

Tracy Clarkin (@tracyhunter66) reported@virginmedia I have had no internet or phone service since 10pm on Wednesday , it's now Friday and still no service
-
Kaiser Soothsays (@_SonOfTheDesert) reported@virginmedia No. Because it’ll end up as a hard reset and we’ll lose all our recorded stuff. When are you going to bring out a box that saves content to the cloud? That way, there’d be no issue.
