@virginmedia I spoke to your customer service team on 2nd January who advised all issues had been resolved and my sim card was being sent out by royal mail delivery. Even with any postal delays out of your control it seems odd that it hasn't arrived.

  • MCR_ADM
Adam🍺 (@MCR_ADM) reported from Stockport, England

@virginmedia No they’re helping. But it’s VERYYYY slow. But almost there.

🦔🦊Johnny1983 🦝🐱 (Big Animal Lover🐕🐶🐁) (@JohnnyDude1983) reported from Bury, England

@bazza141 @virginhelp @virginmedia Join the club. I spent over 1hr 30 mins trying to get a issue resolved . I kept getting through to their over-seas call centres . It took almost 20 call re-tries to get through to a young lady over in Newcastle 😳😞. It's rediculous that they got call centres in 17 countries.

Been on a live chat to Virgin Media since 9:30. WFH joys. Not much work has been done. But got my bill down. #CozzieLivs.

  • ChrisFoxRacing
Christopher Fox (@ChrisFoxRacing) reported from Bolton, England

@virginmedia Already reported the broadband issues, and it's an issue where estimated fix times keep getting pushed back. With regards to mobile issues, this has been around the same length of time. The only way I've been able to get any connection at all is by switching to 3G

  • mark001282
Mark Armstrong (@mark001282) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia As I say. I don't like publicly shaming a company that was once good. But your customer service is an absolute disgrace

  • jimmysteamboat

@virginmedia Can you confirm if service is down in the M4 Manchester postcode? Us and Neighbours wifi not working when we are WFH!

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia Can you check that I will be receiving a credit on my next bill as it has been down since Friday afternoon and I don’t think it will be fixed by 12pm today, I think that time will get changed again.

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia I looked and that says it’s from the day I registered the total loss of service which was yesterday but really it should be from Friday afternoon when I did the online chat. If I DM you can you check?

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia I first informed Virgin Media that my internet was down via online chat on Friday afternoon. Will this have automatically been the time when my loss of service was registered as at the time the advisor said it would be fixed in 24 hours?

  • gamepopper
Gamepopper (@gamepopper) reported from Salford, England

@virginmedia Oh, my bad. Apparently the wiring outside my house has a fault, someone did come last Monday to work on it,and someone was supposed to work on it for Thursday, but it keeps being pushed back (order ref 55230469).

@virginmedia Well you find I'm cancelling my contract with yourselves, hope you go bust, your customer service team is a shambolic embarrasment. Loyalty works both ways.

  • _AdamGardiner

@virginmedia I also don’t need to monitor the quality of my broadband, I already know it’s awful. I don’t understand how that would help.

  • Rayzor74
Ray Morgan. NHS💙🇺🇦 (@Rayzor74) reported from Stockport, England

Good start to the day with @virginmedia informing me my monthly bill is increasing by £15/month and I have until the 17th of April to decide on my options. That is £180 annually. Having been firstly a Nynex customer and a Virgin customer since the takeover think it may be time

@virginmedia @carefreeleon PPV is down for everyone

  • SerenitySoloDev
    Serenity Solo Studios (@SerenitySoloDev) reported

Virgin Media may have the best broadband speeds for me, but lying salesmen and Virgins policies really has me thinking about cancelling during this cooldown period. I was told 1000mbps was the maximum speed here. I found out it was 2000mbps. I tried to change as I was unaware of this at the time, due to what the saleman told me, but they wanted to charge me £88 per month or so for the 2gb package when the 1gb only costs £33 per month. Even though the website says £55 per month for the 2gb package. I then asked about the upload spped matching the download speed. At first, I was told this was a different package, not an addon, so it would cost £88 per month in total. What? I then threatened to leave and rejoin with a new package as I was in the cooling off period. I was then told this was an addon for £6 per month. They can't change anything on my package though apparently. It now has to be sent to another team to check through this and I have to wait 5-10 days. This is the most confusing company I have ever dealt with. When joining Sky, I could change my package at any time and still be given the in contract discount. Sky may have slower speeds, but @Virgin have to have to the worst policies that kind of makes me regret changing over. If they say I still have to pay almost triple the cost, I may just take the loss of the broadband speed and move back over to Sky. Virgin are trying to rip me off as their sales representative who came to the door and sold me the package never gave the full information to me and said 1gb was their highest package they had for my area.

@VirginMedia 2/2 I have done everything available to me as a customer, yet these emails continue to arrive. At what point does the provider step in and improve the filtering? Can somebody please investigate why these messages keep getting through?

@virginmedia I’m completely disgusted. You hounded my 80-year-old mother with repeated calls until she cancelled her existing contract, only to then refuse to provide the new service. Why were no checks done upfront? You’ve now left her with no contract. Completely unacceptable.
