  • pillbo01
kevin.james (@pillbo01) reported from Bolton, England

@virginmedia That number is a automated response not a customer service agent and an utter waste of time

  • StevomacMUFC
Stephen Mackenzie (@StevomacMUFC) reported from Ashton-under-Lyne, England

@virginmedia Hi, I’m trying to raise a complaint online but I’m not receiving any acknowledgment. Is there another way I can raise my complaint? Thanks

  • SiManM20
Simon Manning 🇪🇺 #FBPE (@SiManM20) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia Will do. That was your cue to step in and offer some ‘customer service’ btw.

  • _AdamGardiner
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia I was also promised a call back from a manager within 24 hours on a phone call on Friday afternoon. I did not receive this phone call. This is absolutely disgusting and I expect something to be done. I rely on your service for my income as I work from home. (2/3)

  • GoaterBilly
Billy Goater (@GoaterBilly) reported from Strines, England

@virginmedia well done, after over 10 years with you, Virgin Media have sunk to the their lowest level of service and support ever. Roll on November and the end of my contract. Appalling, ignorant, clueless, almost as bad as BT.

  • roslers_vest
Scott Moseley (@roslers_vest) reported from Rochdale, England

@virginmedia Submitting a complaint will probably result in an apology at best. Given I pay £1k per annum for an unreliable service it’s time to look for an alternative provider who can offer a more satisfactory customer experience

  • anttaylor23
Anthony Taylor (@anttaylor23) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia The what's app line is fine, your advisers don't seem like they want to keep me as a customer. Well not for a decent price anyway 👀

  • Tiffers1973
Tiffers (@Tiffers1973) reported from Ashton-under-Lyne, England

Wow @virginmedia your services have gone off thu no fault of mine yet I have to wait 6 days for you to fix your faulty equipment!! Cancellation pending due to total lack of customer service! I have been a customer since day one and never have I exp such a lack of cust care

  • Aldehulme
David (@Aldehulme) reported from Oldham, England

@virginmedia I need to speak to somebody regarding a broadband problem without you running a check that will cut me off the internet. How do I get past this to speak to a person?

  • _AdamGardiner
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia It works intermittently. When I speak to an advisor they fix the issue at that moment. Then, the next day it’ll cut out again and the process repeats. It was working when the engineer left, but it didn’t last 24 hours. Intermittent isn’t good enough. I rely on you for work.

  • birdflu_7
officially Gaynor Austin 💙 (@birdflu_7) reported from Manchester, England

@MartinSLewis I'm not sure if you can help me but here goes , in August I ended my contract with @virginmedia & to cut a long story short they still owe me £87 .+ They sent me a cheque in my maiden name so I returned it with a second copy of my marriage cert same as in 2015 1.

  • bigdave22003388
Dave (@bigdave22003388) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia im guessing technical support ain’t working ? Got no tv and can’t get any help

  • SurrealPaulT
Paul Terry (@SurrealPaulT) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia hi Virgin. We had an outage of broadband and TV services beginning 23rd Sept which lasted for 4 days. At the time we were told we would be compensated for this loss. As it hasn't come off our latest bill, how do we claim?

  • Karamonkey1
Weirdly even older fan (@Karamonkey1) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia And the sum total of welcome texts I received during my 7 night stay in Jamaica was 189. I never moved from the same hotel. I often got 4-8 texts whilst sat at the same restaurant table or in my room. @virginmedia get your act together

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia See thread above, nothing changes except the time of the estimated fix. It must be very localised as not everyone in my area is affected. So if it is damaged cables, I haven’t seen anyone out repairing them over the weekend, it’s a joke

  • gbmcfc
GLENN (@gbmcfc) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia Well you find I'm cancelling my contract with yourselves, hope you go bust, your customer service team is a shambolic embarrasment. Loyalty works both ways.

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia Can you check that I will be receiving a credit on my next bill as it has been down since Friday afternoon and I don’t think it will be fixed by 12pm today, I think that time will get changed again.

  • SiManM20
Simon Manning 🇪🇺 - SiManM20@mstdn.uk (@SiManM20) reported from Manchester, England

@nrgloz @virginmedia Your paying 75% of what we are for 35% of the d/speed there. Neighbour has just switched to Brsk - it’s full #fttp so 1Gb both up/down rather than the 52Mb UL Virgin offer via DOCSIS. £40pm

  • johnjoeoregan
JJ (@johnjoeoregan) reported from Manchester, England

@stetopping Remember you did the piece late last year about Virgin Media Broadband being out for a day? It's now been down for six days in some parts of Manchester. Six full days and not a word from the company except automated messages.

  • jimmysteamboat
jimmy (@jimmysteamboat) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia Can you confirm if service is down in the M4 Manchester postcode? Us and Neighbours wifi not working when we are WFH!

  • Bigg_F_
    BigF (@Bigg_F_) reported

@virginmedia my broadband has been intermittent (mostly off) for the last 4 days. Can’t get through on phone. AI chat only suggests factory reset of hub. Each time I do a status check it says intermittent signal in your area check back in 24 hours. It’s now been 4 DAYS.

  • entrustTMF
    entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported

Day 4 of poor followed by NO broadband service from good old @virginmedia. Fix now predicted to be by 29/4/26😡 Worryingly, none of their previous predictions have proved accurate Shocking and unacceptable performance #GetItSorted

  • entrustTMF
    entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported

@virginmedia Hello. Broadband/internet has been down for a while this morning(three separate devices not working since mid morning). Is there a general outage or is this likely to be a local, to me, issue? In Scotland Thanks for any assistance you can give

  • Neek49
    Monique Bissell (@Neek49) reported

@entrustTMF @status_is_down @virginmedia Ours has been over a week, and they have just extended their estimated fix time to the 27th. That’s another 5 days, during a tube strike and I can’t work from home.

  • KevinDNash
    Kevin Nash (@KevinDNash) reported

@virginmedia @keithapearson Virgin media should not be able to trade in UK, horrid company, I don't miss speaking to India, South Africa to name but two.

  • NetZeroWatch
    Net Zero Watch (@NetZeroWatch) reported

Mobile network operators have warned they could be forced to ration phone signal access to combat soaring energy prices triggered by the war in Iran. In a stark warning to the Government, telecoms giants including VodafoneThree, Virgin Media O2 and EE said they were drawing up emergency contingency plans after being excluded from Rachel Reeves’s energy support scheme.
