  • CallyRaven
Carol Rowles (@CallyRaven) reported from Westhoughton, England

@virginmedia And our Internet is down again this morning! So because its intermittent we don't get compensation, tried to call, can't get through (have to do it on mobile, our 'landline' is now internet reliant!)

  • EdwinDa18453545
Edwin Daniel (@EdwinDa18453545) reported from Stockport, England

@virginmedia @richardbranson @VirginMediaCC unethical practice & worst cust serv.after 50 days of total loss of service and no resolution and taking 52 pounds for that period from me now they are denying compensation as well as refund of monies taken.

  • _AdamGardiner
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia It’s everything connected via Wi-Fi. I don’t have the connect app. I check for service status on your website and it usually says there isn’t an issue, but that doesn’t reflect my service.

  • _AdamGardiner
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia I was also promised a call back from a manager within 24 hours on a phone call on Friday afternoon. I did not receive this phone call. This is absolutely disgusting and I expect something to be done. I rely on your service for my income as I work from home. (2/3)

  • mark001282
Mark Armstrong (@mark001282) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia As I say. I don't like publicly shaming a company that was once good. But your customer service is an absolute disgrace

  • ChrisFoxRacing
Christopher Fox (@ChrisFoxRacing) reported from Bolton, England

@virginmedia Already reported the broadband issues, and it's an issue where estimated fix times keep getting pushed back. With regards to mobile issues, this has been around the same length of time. The only way I've been able to get any connection at all is by switching to 3G

  • PaulRegent1
Paul Regent (@PaulRegent1) reported from Bolton, England

@virginmedia no internet available in Bolton - must be an outage as, although coverage is very poor, it isn’t usually this poor!!

  • Miniboom2
Rach (legacy fan) (@Miniboom2) reported from Salford, England

Ah @virginmedia with this up and down service today you are really spoiling us!

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia See thread above, nothing changes except the time of the estimated fix. It must be very localised as not everyone in my area is affected. So if it is damaged cables, I haven’t seen anyone out repairing them over the weekend, it’s a joke

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia my internet has been down since Friday afternoon. I was told it would be fixed in 24 hours, the time has since changed and is currently at 8pm this evening. I work from home so need my internet back up and running before Monday morning. This is disgraceful

  • MCR_ADM
Adam🍺 (@MCR_ADM) reported from Stockport, England

Been on a live chat to Virgin Media since 9:30. WFH joys. Not much work has been done. But got my bill down. #CozzieLivs.

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia 2/2 who can I speak to as it was working fine on Friday until the issues that were nothing to do with me happened, so don’t see why I should now pay for a technician

  • mark001282
Mark Armstrong (@mark001282) reported from Manchester, England

Every time speak to @virginmedia @Virgin customer service I die a little bit inside #emogirl

Nadeem (@nadeem030986) reported from Rochdale, England

@virginmedia we having issues with our phone line at home called @virginmedia to book an engineer for a home visit after 1hr 20min @virginmedia put the phone down thank you 🤬😡😡😡

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia I looked and that says it’s from the day I registered the total loss of service which was yesterday but really it should be from Friday afternoon when I did the online chat. If I DM you can you check?

  • SiManM20
Simon Manning 🇪🇺 #FBPE (@SiManM20) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia Will do. That was your cue to step in and offer some ‘customer service’ btw.

  • HollowayAlec
Alec Holloway (@HollowayAlec) reported from Stretford, England

@virginmedia is unbelievable that our Internet is so poor, trying to contact someone via phone on numerous occasions waiting for over 45 minutes to speak with someone. Still haven't been able to get through to anyone.

  • Rik_Ashton
Richard Ashton 💙🇺🇦 (@Rik_Ashton) reported from Ashton-under-Lyne, England

@SkyUK My Sky package is slowly edging up. Some new customer deals from a couple of years ago have worsened discounts but... I'm still around £30 a month better off than when I was with Virgin Media. Never going back.

  • pillbo01
kevin.james (@pillbo01) reported from Bolton, England

I have virgin media but they don’t have a Customer service that you can speak to. Or email I’ve had a problem for over a month since an engineer messed about in the box in the street. Picture on tv keeps pixilated.

  • _AdamGardiner
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia Have you just stopped responding now? Having some system issues?

  • cymroglyn
    CymroGlyn 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏉🍾♿️ (@cymroglyn) reported

@virginmedia You should be keeping an eye out for this sort of criminal activity, creates profiles for most large UK companies so they can reply to any complaints and get the customer to download software so they can compensation…and rob them. Report them to X

  • entrustTMF
    entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported

@robert_mackley @virginmedia Thanks for that. Need to do some serious thinking about whether to stay with @virginmedia at end of this contract as this experience has been very, very poor indeed. Communications have been awful (apart from one person that at least appeared to empathise). Been with them years

  • Ca1vin1saac
    Calvin Isaac (@Ca1vin1saac) reported

Hi @virginmedia — there’s no internet at my home in Derby,UK. I’ve already restarted the router but still no connection. Can you please check if there’s an outage or help resolve this ASAP? Thanks!

  • pepetideo
CrankyGeek (@pepetideo) reported from Oxford, England

@virginmedia @FuzziePieRat Yes.. And how ****** up is it that you treat your existing paying customers so badly they have to attempt to do these hacks to get what you are freely giving away to new customers?

  • rabtaylor1981
    Robert Taylor (@rabtaylor1981) reported

@virginmedia any idea why it has to be so difficult to actually speak to anyone? Both TV boxes no longer work right, received an email saying a new box was coming but only got a remote for a box I don't even have! Can anyone help??

  • djspeedy34
    Hussey FM (@djspeedy34) reported

@virginmedia Dont say i gotta pay more, I been a loyal customer with you for years

  • NetZeroWatch
    Net Zero Watch (@NetZeroWatch) reported

Mobile network operators have warned they could be forced to ration phone signal access to combat soaring energy prices triggered by the war in Iran. In a stark warning to the Government, telecoms giants including VodafoneThree, Virgin Media O2 and EE said they were drawing up emergency contingency plans after being excluded from Rachel Reeves’s energy support scheme. More Net Zero issues for consumers. #CostOfNetZero

  • PHILROOKS
    just me (@PHILROOKS) reported

@virginmedia @keithapearson I wouldn't bother returning but support the online informing if others about their #customerservice they as a company and the bosses should be ashamed
