@virginmedia I need these services back today. I needed them this morning, when I was not receiving emails that I needed to respond to. I needed to know that you were going to do this, and when it was happening. I am under monumental stress and you’ve just cut out account off, for no reason.

@virginmedia I was heavily sold a renewal based on an engineer installing+configuring everything as we are meant to have the fastest Wi-Fi possible.I installed it and no sign of an engineer,no follow up from Virgin. As per usual.Was also sold some ‘VIP service’ line that’s never been shared!

@virginmedia I’ve explained my issue. I don’t see how being on a queue on the phone is going to be any improvement. I just don’t see it as acceptable that there is no customer support available online until tomorrow. It’s not like I have anything to discuss. I just want my services back on.

@virginmedia Is there a problem with your phone system? My Mum has been trying to call for 24 hours on numerous occasions to change package but gets cut off every single time. Your mentions suggest this is happening to lots of others too. Can somebody arrange a callback please?

@virginmedia This should have been simply and readily resolved, as soon as your error was brought to your attention. Just because I can’t afford to pay for the top tier of services doesn’t mean I don’t matter as a customer. A very long term, loyal customer, I would note.

@virginmedia I have an auditory processing disorder that can make dealing with things over the phone difficult. I am using your WhatsApp service as this was recommended to me by yourselves to avoid being ******* in long queues in the phone. I just want my services back on. That’s it.

Same old @virginhelp @virginmedia more important for them to send a driver to personally collect an old Virgin Hub than send the promised engineer to install the new one and optimise the Wi-Fi signal as had been sold to us. 🤷

@virginmedia You’ve just told me you can’t chat until 1.30 tomorrow. But I don’t need a chat. There’s nothing to discuss. You have shut down my services in error, and I need them restored. Hopefully before 5.30 when the people I need to speak to finish for the day.

@EE Why are you advising everyone who is affected by this outage they can use wifi calling? I can't and it dropped out the moment your services dropped out at around 13:10 today!! My wifi is fine and all in the green via Virgin Media. Check your facts!

@virginmedia I have posted on there and looks at some threads regarding this issue. Apparently Virgin are aware of it and have been for atleast 3 months no resolution. So currently paying for services I'm not recieving?If Virgin cannot uphold their end of the contract cancel it Free of charge

I think building up a social media following is to give themselves a larger profile - presumably with the intent to monetise this down the line. This diverts time and focus away from journalism and more towards actavism.

@virginmedia Ok, they’re sending out an engineer next Tuesday. Am I expected to wait until then for a possible fix? I say possible because even he couldn’t assure me that they would be able to fix it. I WFH every day, I can’t tether data until then
