    Thanks EE. Do you do home broadband cos @virginmedia are shockingly bad and has the WORST #customerservice I’ve had the misfortune to experience. #jobsworths apparently the machine Einstein “won’t let them” send out an engineer to fix the prob they caused.

    @virginmedia I’m afraid you’ve used the new deal trick before and look where we are. I am stuck without internet for a week and paying for a poor and inconsistent service. The server for my postcode M210ZN is down. Yet my wife who was working less than a mile away had no problems.

    After 48+ hours I’m still without any phone service. Despite being in contact with customer support at @virginmedia for over 48 hours. Had to buy a temporary @EE SIM card in the end. Fed up and frustrated to say the least.

    @virginmedia just spoke to, hands down, the rudest child I’ve ever spoke to. Morgan in the cancellations department. Seriously he was lucky we weren’t face to face. Little brat.

    @virginmedia But it keeps happening time after time and it is so difficult to get through to a human being (someone in a call centre in India) & when you do there’s no explanation of why it keeps happening. I run two small businesses and am reliant on a god quality reliable internet service.

    @virginmedia Your ‘efforts at customer service’ don’t appear to be working since I’ve not had a reply to my last tweet or Facebook message. But I am nothing if not persistent so I WILL keep trying until someone at virgin takes responsibility for offering some customer service #virginmedia

    @virginmedia Finally got through. Total loss of service - not expected to be fully back on until 29th of August! That’s nearly a week! Your service is appalling and you have the gall to be charging more. We will be looking at changing suppliers immediately.

    @IanSlaterPhoto1 @libertygal72 Nope, the bank issue you a new PIN, it's not the same as knowing what your old PIN was. The issue isn't do much the post, it's storing passwords in plain text which @virginmedia have repeatedly claimed they don't do.

    @virginmedia Thanks. I’m doing online checks at the moment. There are no problems in the area according to your checks. Just seems to happen a lot. It’s very frustrating and trying to speak to someone takes forever.

    @Matthew99029297 @virginmedia Agreed, its frustrating that a reliable date and time of the fix can't be given (and keeps getting extended). Is this a issue they have not dealt with before ? Understand with cov19, doesn't make things less complicated. Updates have no info on what actual issue or fault is ?

    @Jamescorkhill @virginmedia @WeAreOpenreach You *should* be able to break your contract I read on MoneySavingExpert. We're also over a barrel as we don't even have the infrastructure for anything other than virgin as they never put it in when they built the house :-(

    @virginmedia day 4 of no internet. After trying 4 days in a row your call centre finally spoke to someone who proceeded to give me no answer as to why my net is down. There is no area issue. How am I paying so much for services that go down but with zero help? #virginmediadown
