  • Karamonkey1
Weirdly even older fan (@Karamonkey1) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia And the sum total of welcome texts I received during my 7 night stay in Jamaica was 189. I never moved from the same hotel. I often got 4-8 texts whilst sat at the same restaurant table or in my room. @virginmedia get your act together

  • Samuel_J_Mc
Sam (@Samuel_J_Mc) reported from Timperley, England

@virginmedia customer service is so ****. They just transfer you round to different departments

  • TTPhoebe
Phoebe (@TTPhoebe) reported from Manchester, England

Anyone available at @virginmedia please? Your website is shocking for trying to get in touch with customer services / live chat. Thanks

  • he_tompkins
Hannah Tompkins (@he_tompkins) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia my broadband was “delivered” today by Yodel but the package is no where to be seen and wasn’t attempted (I’ve been in all day waiting). I can’t get any help from them, please help!! 😭

  • essers
Esjay (@essers) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia You’ve just told me you can’t chat until 1.30 tomorrow. But I don’t need a chat. There’s nothing to discuss. You have shut down my services in error, and I need them restored. Hopefully before 5.30 when the people I need to speak to finish for the day.

  • _AdamGardiner
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia It’s everything connected via Wi-Fi. I don’t have the connect app. I check for service status on your website and it usually says there isn’t an issue, but that doesn’t reflect my service.

  • Tiffers1973
Tiffers (@Tiffers1973) reported from Ashton-under-Lyne, England

@virginmedia I'm trying to cancel but when that seems impossible

  • Rayzor74
Ray Morgan. NHS💙🇺🇦 (@Rayzor74) reported from Stockport, England

Good start to the day with @virginmedia informing me my monthly bill is increasing by £15/month and I have until the 17th of April to decide on my options. That is £180 annually. Having been firstly a Nynex customer and a Virgin customer since the takeover think it may be time

  • barrys59
Barry Slater (@barrys59) reported from Barton upon Irwell, England

@virginmedia still no service M27. 4th hour! Rubbish!

  • gamepopper
Gamepopper (@gamepopper) reported from Salford, England

@virginmedia Oh, my bad. Apparently the wiring outside my house has a fault, someone did come last Monday to work on it,and someone was supposed to work on it for Thursday, but it keeps being pushed back (order ref 55230469).

  • _AdamGardiner
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia Will they help if the Wi-Fi is working at the time I call? Because my issue is that when it is working, your advisors consider their work done despite telling them that it usually doesn’t last. And invariable, it doesn’t.

  • SiManM20
Simon Manning 🇪🇺 #FBPE (@SiManM20) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia Will do. That was your cue to step in and offer some ‘customer service’ btw.

  • SurrealPaulT
Paul Terry (@SurrealPaulT) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia hi Virgin. We had an outage of broadband and TV services beginning 23rd Sept which lasted for 4 days. At the time we were told we would be compensated for this loss. As it hasn't come off our latest bill, how do we claim?

  • SimpaticoGem
Gemma ≅ (@SimpaticoGem) reported from Walkden, England

Tell me why with my @virginmedia wifi and my @O2 phone contract, MY WIFI CUTS OUT CONSTANTLY AND I HAVE NO SIGNAL ANYWHERE I GO?! Thought being a customer of you both was supposed to reap massive benefits for me?

  • johnsonhomes2
johnsonhomes (@johnsonhomes2) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia Her phone like works at the moment because she has power but not in a power cut. This is one of the issues set out in the email which VM requested I send on Wednesday

  • Hasbullins
Hazbullins (@Hasbullins) reported from Salford, England

@virginmedia New call of duty released today and your Internet service is down. Are you taking the full piss out of me here? Wankers

  • SeanKeyes
Sean (@SeanKeyes) reported from Manchester, England

Same old @virginhelp @virginmedia more important for them to send a driver to personally collect an old Virgin Hub than send the promised engineer to install the new one and optimise the Wi-Fi signal as had been sold to us. 🤷

  • SiManM20
Simon Manning 🇪🇺 - SiManM20@mstdn.uk (@SiManM20) reported from Manchester, England

@nrgloz @virginmedia Your paying 75% of what we are for 35% of the d/speed there. Neighbour has just switched to Brsk - it’s full #fttp so 1Gb both up/down rather than the 52Mb UL Virgin offer via DOCSIS. £40pm

  • Jo8Pink
Joanne Fallon (@Jo8Pink) reported from Macclesfield, England

@virginmedia My wifi is continually really poor. Been reporting it for ages. Nothing gets done. Called and the 5th person, said I had low connectivity to all my devices and put me onto someone else who said he’d completed some upgrades and it would improve. Said he’d call to check, still not

  • sharper76
Smyth Harper 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🇺🇦☘️ (@sharper76) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia In the orders and appointments section it says there are none. The text I have received confirming the appointment and threatening me with a £25 fine is different to the one offered to me by your customer services.

@virginmedia Simply not true @virginmedia you know it’s defective amplifier issues that you are not willing to fix because of your archaic structure and current network deals. Lazy liars

  • JustinBarker77
    Justin Barker (@JustinBarker77) reported

@virginmedia fibre issue in OL15. Speeds have dropped to at least half what’s expected. Are you aware? How do I actually get it logged without your automated system bouncing between issue and no issue without the 24 hour clock restarting

  • marksy316
    Marks (@marksy316) reported

@Simon_Whale @virginmedia Almost as bad as @EE having me wait 4 months to connect

  • fitzhanhan

@DeviateDefiant @virginmedia @MoneySupermkt Nah, cancel. I’ve done it after being with them for 5 years paid £75+ as I had TVPackage as well. Went with Community Fibre 1Gbps. £27 p/m. No dramas

  • sparkly_sand
    banofi (@sparkly_sand) reported

@virginmedia you need to cater for people who work from home. I’m losing earnings due to bad internet. Apparently I can’t have business broadband and have a tv package! 🤬😭

  • AsTrubludru

@ZDangermouse @virginmedia If you have a decent data plan, you can use your phone as a hot spot for your smart tv. I’ve done it for an Xbox a few times when my internet went out. Games are a little slow, but Netflix and other streaming services were good when I did it.
