@virginmedia why are your fibre upload speeds so slow? 10mbps upload on a 109mbps download speed? Sky and BT and others offer 20mbps download speed on their 67mbps download speeds. Please review this as when 2 people are working from home on video calls 10mbps up isn't fast enough

@virginmedia Internet is down. Your hotlines say there’s a “complex issue in SK4 area” and always say “should be back online soon”. It’s been 2 whole days! #whatsgoingon

@harrisonmp They wrote to me about my complaint saying they’d been trying to contact me, they haven’t unless they’re still using the wrong mobile number which I’ve informed them about. We’ll ignore the fact that my landline is with them. I just wish someone @virginmedia would take ownership

@virginmedia Thank you. This is the 4th fault in as many days. I’m sure it will come back soon, but repeated loss of service is incredibly disruptive when we’re all trying to work from home during the new lockdown.

@virginmedia finally after 1:10 mins on the phone. We have a possible resolution. Whilst the tech on the line was very apologetic and helpful, the waiting, lack of response and overall service is appalling.

Hey @virginmedia - third long-term outage in as many days in my area. What is going on and why is it impossible to talk to someone? Each time you triumphantly announced it’s fixed, something else breaks? This is unacceptable and your comms with customers is poor. #virginmediadown

@virginmedia I've tried the customer service number 15 times this morning and it isn't connecting. The call just ends. I'm also worried you'll say you can't speak to me. I have a letter of authority but I can't be in my friend's house to call you while he's there due to Covid restrictions

Virgin Media fixed the phone issue, a local fault, so I rang Royal Mail to get my money back. The phone went out again during the call. If I was a person with anxiety and depression issues this might be a major problem. Oh wait, I am a person.....

@virginmedia Hi, I found a status checker link in another reply and have confirmed there is a known issue in our area and I’ve registered that we have no service and for text updates. Sounds like there is a widespread issue across London, possibly the UK, based on the level of tweets.
