@virginmedia It was affecting the wireless connection on and off for over 6 hrs to the point where I switched wifi off on my phone! I'll not hold my breath for today but I'll certainly be in touch if this problem Carrie's on today!

@virginmedia And another issue. Must be that time of the year when I seem to have numerous problems in a short time span. Now it’s saying incorrect password when trying to join the WiFi network (password hasn’t changed), or it’ll say there’s a connection problem to internet and a red button.

@virginmedia Just finished a phone call. No engineer until tomorrow which leaves my vulnerable mum without a phone. Completely unacceptable service. Spoke to a manager who wouldn't allow me to take this further.

@virginmedia That’s not the point, I don’t want credit. I want a reliable service. And this isn’t reliable. My 4G service on my phone is more reliable than my home broadband. That’s not good.

@virginmedia I don’t have a landline or a Virgin phone, I don’t want to rack up a huge phonebill calling you to sort out an issue on your side. I’ve now performed a factory reset and still not working. So I’ve ran the broadband test from my Virgin Media page and it says the equipment is off.

@virginmedia But the package I have is old now it doesn't exist. I don't have HD channel for itv2. And pay so much basic phone line and Internet so pay over odds. Price increases on an outdated package. You think 10 years as a customer I could upgrade my package to a current TV one

@virginmedia No they wont.... I was on hold for over 3o minutes before someone answered and when he did he said he'd give me a default Password and then he hung up.... wtf. Your customer service and service full stop is an absolute joke!

@virginmedia Yes I did however, I’ve now received a text that the service visit has been put on hold. I am still not getting service and it appears no engineer will show up on Friday. The booking reference is 26249684. I just need good internet service thats all, after all I’m paying for it.

@virginmedia Did that and the service status check could not be completed. I’ve had no dial tone for a while now. There is a fault with the line and an engineer needs to come out. Why is it so hard to tell you that?

@virginmedia Done that & was told you don't guarantee wifi, only wired connection. Currently working from home & don't have time for any of this. Think my next move will be to call & cancel my Virignmedia contract rather than pay for the privilege of being directed to a public forum for help.
