@virginmedia my internet has been down since Friday afternoon. I was told it would be fixed in 24 hours, the time has since changed and is currently at 8pm this evening. I work from home so need my internet back up and running before Monday morning. This is disgraceful

@bazza141 @virginhelp @virginmedia Join the club. I spent over 1hr 30 mins trying to get a issue resolved . I kept getting through to their over-seas call centres . It took almost 20 call re-tries to get through to a young lady over in Newcastle 😳😞. It's rediculous that they got call centres in 17 countries.

@virginmedia please sort out the issues with the WiFi, Internet, broadband or whatever the term us these days. It is constantly slow or not working. Having to use mobile data is not an effective substitute for the service I am paying for.

@virginmedia I first informed Virgin Media that my internet was down via online chat on Friday afternoon. Will this have automatically been the time when my loss of service was registered as at the time the advisor said it would be fixed in 24 hours?

@virginmedia Hi - Ive noticed alot of people are having the same issues. Its the Sky TV Go app on Playstation 4. Ive checked it on another internet and it works fine so it is definitely an error on your side. You need to sort the internet settings. It struggles to load “on Now” on the app.

@virginmedia I looked and that says it’s from the day I registered the total loss of service which was yesterday but really it should be from Friday afternoon when I did the online chat. If I DM you can you check?

@virginmedia See thread above, nothing changes except the time of the estimated fix. It must be very localised as not everyone in my area is affected. So if it is damaged cables, I haven’t seen anyone out repairing them over the weekend, it’s a joke

@virginmedia No as you person on 150 said you do not have a customer service that I could talk too. Your engineer said it was a fault at the box in street so I don’t know when it is fixed. But it’s not improve in the last month

Not very often I say good things about @virginmedia but todays service was excellent. Peter sorted out Wi-fi problem, wavered the set up fee, and arranged a new hub after lots of line tests. Thank you. (But will have no service for 6 days in all.🙄 Refund?)

@virginmedia I wasn’t able to book an engineer as I couldn’t find that option. All the online help section did was keep running tests and asking me what lights were on my hub. No option to book an engineer 😡

@Sarah_J_Fuller @virginmedia @MoneyTelegraph We have checked the hub, restarted and reset the hub, spoke to 4 people on the app who said it was a fault in our area/reset the hub/try using a cable. Since the new hub our WiFi speed has been terrible and not what a M100 contract should be

@virginmedia Twice I’ve tried and failed when call transferred to appropriate dept. The system has failed me, not the other way round. Why there can’t be a call return service rather than spending hours on hold and the call being cancelled before actually being answered.
