Tim Cooke 🇺🇦 (@timmycooke) reported from Wigan, England@virginmedia Both wired and wireless. We've had 8 engineers out, a rewire, new hub and still endless drop outs. Was told finally it was an upload issue from the amp that supplied the box on the street. But still we're having issues. The 150 number is joke, make it simple!!!
-
Pete Best (Pil0t Pedr0) (@PIL0TPEDR0) reported from Bolton, England@virginmedia Yet again an intermittent service in Area 20 BL1 2 this has now gone beyond a joke, paying for a service and not getting it
-
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England@virginmedia my internet has been down since Friday afternoon. I was told it would be fixed in 24 hours, the time has since changed and is currently at 8pm this evening. I work from home so need my internet back up and running before Monday morning. This is disgraceful

rich cutts (@Cuttsrich) reported from Tyldesley, EnglandIn 10+ yrs of having #virginmedia this is only second time TV service has been down. The broadband meanwhile is up n down like a dog at the fair

TheAspiLawStudent (@LawAspi) reported from Chorley, England@virginmedia LS, I have and do regularly when ever it seems slow. It varies from 12mbps download to a maximum of 110mbps. However the monthly average is under 60mbps. Which falls well short of my guaranteed speed.
-
sevs66 (@mgsevs) reported from Kirkham, England@virginmedia Tried them all over 18 months. Short of moving the router, which imo will shift the issue from one room to another, there's not a lot else open to me according to your representatives. We work from home and my wife uses all her mobile data every month as a wifi hotspot
-
bay (@Baynesi83) reported from Mellor, England@NadineDorries @virginmedia @O2 Here she is again that glam Nan spouting bollocks that is instantly shot down by ordinary people who seem to actually know facts. She really needs to shut up or just read factual information instead of coming across as an incompetent muppet.
-
Chris (@houghtonc79) reported from Preston, England@virginmedia So after having pissed around since mid December refusing to send me a new router due to intermittent WiFi issues with some devices losing connection. Today it has been on and off over a dozen times. Now no connection at all, no Internet and no phone service 😡
-
dannyWAFClannon (@DannyLannon) reported from Wigan, England@Louisewafc @virginmedia Nice of Stoke fans turn up to support us
-
TheAspiLawStudent (@LawAspi) reported from Chorley, England@virginmedia I have your smart hub 3, or as I like to call it the dumb dumb 3000. (It's struggles to broadcast a decent connection around a 2 bed flat, so it's been banished to modem mode. (Honestly, it's the worst router ive ever dealt with) 😳
-
Christopher Fox (@ChrisFoxRacing) reported from Bolton, England@virginmedia Already reported the broadband issues, and it's an issue where estimated fix times keep getting pushed back. With regards to mobile issues, this has been around the same length of time. The only way I've been able to get any connection at all is by switching to 3G
-
🥔 A bean has no name 🥔 (@ylilxanoi) reported from Wigan, England@virginmedia Internet is down in our area since Monday. I keep getting multiple emails saying it'll be fixed by 12pm tomorrow, then 4pm Wednesday 12pm Thursday, 12pm Friday and now 4pm Friday. None of your call centre staff can help us we've spent hours on hold this week.
-

Carol Rowles (@CallyRaven) reported from Westhoughton, England@virginmedia I seem to be the first one to report them, still saying intermittent problems in my area. Can't get to speak to anyone on phone, I rely on the Internet.
-
strange little Flo (@FloButcher84) reported from Blackburn, England@virginmedia still no broadband in bb3 area since Thurs & update now says tomorrow for fix. Shocking customer service, why can't you tell your customers what is happening instead of saying an engineer is on the way on the updates, at least then we would know what to expect
-
Graeme Radebe (@Radebreast) reported from Ormskirk, England@virginmedia Hi - Ive noticed alot of people are having the same issues. Its the Sky TV Go app on Playstation 4. Ive checked it on another internet and it works fine so it is definitely an error on your side. You need to sort the internet settings. It struggles to load “on Now” on the app.

Dadaldo (@HRH_Duke_of_Url) reportedVirgin Media are the worst. They strong armed me into a ****** deal to take out an O2 sim for £5 a month just to get affordable broadband. Now when my broadband's down, which happens weekly, I check their online service checker and it bounces me to a virgin02 sign in page.
-
Craig (@Scrumpyjackfan) reportedAfter 25 years with @virginmedia it’s time to say 👋. Relocating your customer services to SE Asia a few years back was a stupid move, I have wasted hours waiting and talking to your reps. Even now I must do the leg work to find a better deal. You should be phoning me to keep me.
-
propper klopper (@gilesy10982) reported@miked36 @virginmedia No problem at all 👍🏻
-
Charles Forsyth (@charles_forsyth) reported@biggle1908 @SBarrettBar @zeninternet I have both Zen and Virgin Media (two fibres). Zen is symmetric but VM is not (here), despite Zen being half the price. Symmetry (or not) depends on the underlying infrastructure supplier. VM has been great over many years, fairly usual tech support; Zen has been excellent and the tech support is very techy. ("Symmetric" here means upload and download rate is the same; often upload is much slower.)
-
SHUTTY 🇬🇧 (@apshutt) reported@virginmedia I have not said there is a problem, so don't give me a stock answer, what do account managers do please?
-
Brown (@BrownyanYK) reported@littlemankay Hoping it can be gotten with virgin media too again (yes that's a real wifi network)
-
Naughty_But_Nice_Angel (@WomanWithAWomb) reported@Rugster_CDS @DianneProc24557 @Starlink I now pay £40, going to to £56. I'm with Virgin Media. I can't afford to be fussy as I have a very bad credit score 😭
-
Tommy Fitz (@blugun) reported@virginmedia down again, 2nd time in two days🙄🙄🙄
-
simon withers (@KalEl_WBS) reported@virginmedia I’m tired of repeating myself, I’ve sent multiple DMs to you and you never reply.
-
Pete Samuels (@PeteSamuels5) reported@DorzetRob @Artemisapphire Ditto here. We're between 3 towns. Sod all signal. Had to get 'wi-fi calling' on the mobile phones, to make mobile calls via the broadband. Smarty seems to work OK. Old copper land line now shut off by Virgin Media.
