  • ZakFarren Zak (@ZakFarren) reported from Bolton, England

@virginmedia as of about 2 days ago the latency on our internet has been awful (150ms in most online games) plus it seems the speed it's self has dropped significantly too, about half of what it used to be on all devices. Have restarted and factory reset and still broken

  • theleeharrison Lee Harrison (@theleeharrison) reported from Boothstown, England

@JakebwfcHurst @virginmedia Not virgins issue at that point. They might be able to provide you with some boosts but they will only take you so far.

  • Nicole_Baker Coley B (@Nicole_Baker) reported from Whittle-le-Woods, England

@virginmedia Already tried this & the people who answer the calls aren't authorised to deal with it and so I get another promised phonecall which is never made!!! What are you going to do to rectify the problem that's been ongoing since November 2020?!?!?! @MartinSLewis #poorcustomerservice

  • Nicole_Baker Coley B (@Nicole_Baker) reported from Whittle-le-Woods, England

@virginmedia As was promised (via, text, tweet and written correspondence!!) I have spent countless hours on hold to no resolve. I will await your promised call. Each day I don't receive said call/contact I will continue to demonstrate publicly how bad your customer services are..

  • Elle83 Michelle E (@Elle83) reported from Walton le Dale, England

@virginmedia why does my super hub 3 keep resetting my WiFi password. I’m having to change it through settings every other day because it keeps defaulting back to the security key, this is causing major issues

  • jeniandersonw Jen (@jeniandersonw) reported from Wigan, England

Just spoke to @virginmedia attempting to rectify broadband issues - their suggestion is to “sit closer to the hub” Brilliant wish I had thought of that..!

  • TeelingChris Chris Teeling (@TeelingChris) reported from Ormskirk, England

    @KeithJBolton @virginmedia dont take no **** m8💪

  • ZakFarren Zak (@ZakFarren) reported from Bolton, England

@virginmedia I don't have any direct wired connection but my TP link powerline connection seems to be working better now with speeds and gameplay. However, I imagine once high load resumes in the evening it will be terrible again. Feels like we're being heavily throttled during the evening

  • woodyoo5 Paul Woodward 💙 (@woodyoo5) reported from Walkden, England

@virginmedia Boosters have been lost in transit, waiting to find out if more will be sent. WiFi signal is terrible, hub 4 worse than hub 3. Extremely frustrated, paying a fortune for service not fit for purpose.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • stuartctaylor Spooky Taylor 🎃 🦇 💀 (@stuartctaylor) reported

@virginmedia Hello again. You're obviously under a lot of pressure considering the spelling and grammar issues, so I'll ask again - please may I have a direct number for second line support? You don't need any information to provide that - just copy and paste it from the support screen.

  • RMan70 rak_man (@RMan70) reported

@virginmedia Thank you but i still don't have any service I now have 2 flashing green arrows on the box !

  • Jasanipratik Pratik J. Jasani (@Jasanipratik) reported

@virginmedia Hi HS. I did a few times. At first had to wait for a long time and then the Internet worked for a couple of minutes and then went down. The second and the third time, the same happened. The 4th time, I was waiting to be connected to your IT dept when it started to work.

  • ialc2009 Andrew Long (@ialc2009) reported

@virginmedia Part of the problem is that whilst chat/automated responses account for 95% of problems, trying to sort out a non-standard problem like this is far too difficult. It's already helping me make my decision when the contract ends.

  • MaddieMayNot Maddie May 🥞🌮ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐷ🏠🥂 (@MaddieMayNot) reported

@stuartctaylor @virginmedia Right? And then when I try to contact the complaints procedure (which I did before I tweeted) of course there's only a robot at the other end. Feels like one very long, bad April Fool's Joke 😤

  • sarahinthestars Sarah ☆ (@sarahinthestars) reported

@virginmedia Hi, service is fine. The channel is till not working.

  • stubat_ stubat (@stubat_) reported

@virginmedia I did that and it says it's fine. No problems detected. But then the fact it keeps cutting off begs to differ. Like I said my friend on the other side of town is having the same problem so?

  • jjvvvvvv JV (@jjvvvvvv) reported

@virginmedia Yes, an engineer was scheduled for this morning. They have not shown up. We are attempting to set up a new broadband contract and therefore the service request was for that. Please let me know how to arrange the webchat and we will join.

  • standiscrackers Just Joe (@standiscrackers) reported

@virginmedia Hey can you please explain to me WHY i have been charged for using my home phone when it is NOT EVEN PLUGGED IN. This is now 5 times you have charged me for using my home phone yet i have never once used my home phone to call anyone in the 4/5 years I've had it.

  • Spike007Rite Kristofer Spikereit (@Spike007Rite) reported

@virginmedia I honestly don’t know what the forum is going to do if your outage continues in our area. I just wish as an organisation you would be truthful to your customers instead of deferring to different social channels in the hopes that we will give up and the problem will resolve itself
