  • LeylandDavid David Gardner (@LeylandDavid) reported from Leyland, England

@virginmedia My landline phone has been down all afternoon in PR25 1UJ. Have any others complained about this issue, and if you're aware of the issue, do you have an estimated time for repair. Thanks in advance.

  • mgsevs sevs66 (@mgsevs) reported from Kirkham, England

@virginmedia @Piethagoram How about maintaining free roaming charges then seeing as you've hiked the cost of using your service

  • LawAspi TheAspiLawStudent (@LawAspi) reported from Chorley, England

@virginmedia LS, I have and do regularly when ever it seems slow. It varies from 12mbps download to a maximum of 110mbps. However the monthly average is under 60mbps. Which falls well short of my guaranteed speed.

  • LeylandDavid David Gardner (@LeylandDavid) reported from Leyland, England

@virginmedia Reported the problem yesterday after your response. Should have been fixed by 10am today apparently, but still nothing.

  • LawAspi TheAspiLawStudent (@LawAspi) reported from Chorley, England

@virginmedia I have your smart hub 3, or as I like to call it the dumb dumb 3000. (It's struggles to broadcast a decent connection around a 2 bed flat, so it's been banished to modem mode. (Honestly, it's the worst router ive ever dealt with) 😳

  • LawAspi TheAspiLawStudent (@LawAspi) reported from Chorley, England

@virginmedia @JTCHANGINGBIZ Whilst they provide a marginally better speeds than competitors their customer service is just non existent, until you say you're leaving..

  • LeylandDavid David Gardner (@LeylandDavid) reported from Leyland, England

@virginmedia How many more times, the landline is NOT working (no dial tone).

  • LawAspi TheAspiLawStudent (@LawAspi) reported from Chorley, England

@virginmedia Considering my router is a 1gbps it shouldn't be an issue. However even with wired it'll vary between 15mbps and 110mbps. However our average over a month is 53.6mbps, which is less than half the speed we pay for 😳.

  • Libra_Comms Ali Gudgeon 💙 (@Libra_Comms) reported from Preston, England

@virginmedia have come home from work to find my internet is down and remains down. Are there any issues in PR2 9TT?

  • SammyKnowlesX SJK (@SammyKnowlesX) reported from Banks, England

@virginmedia please provide a direct contact for complaints. Sick of the poor service and mistakes that I have had every month since joining you

  • Christerphurr Chris Mann (@Christerphurr) reported from Preston, England

@virginmedia Hi, my broadband has just gone off is there a known issue in my area or do I need to book an engineer ?

  • Davegas2 David Walton (@Davegas2) reported from Feniscowles, England

@virginmedia When are you going to sort out problem with red button on Sky sports, sometimes on, most times off, ongoing problem.

  • LawAspi TheAspiLawStudent (@LawAspi) reported from Chorley, England

@virginmedia Yeah, I've done all that (I'm a techy) it's why it's in modem mode and replaced with a capable router. The issue isnt the equipment it's the connection. Without the hub3 I can run upto 900Mbps download and 240mbps upload.

  • LeylandDavid David Gardner (@LeylandDavid) reported from Leyland, England

@virginmedia No updated fix time, as it shows all services as green, and can't detect a problem. It asks us to phone you on 151 to do a little more "digging", but the phone line is DOWN. Oh, and the chatbot doesn't deal with landline issues apparently. Now what???

@virginmedia Banking details . This was after they have reported issues to virgin about having issues with the internet. I don't know the specific date they reported the issue to virgin. But the call was yesterday afternoon. They then tried to take a substantial amount of money from the bank.

  • 2cakesdakes twocakesdakes (@2cakesdakes) reported

@virginmedia No tv service, have to pay £25 a month for a phone line that nobody uses and if I cancel phone you put the price of the broadband and TV up so it's still same overall price. Something wrong if you're allowed to do that.

  • zindagibassapni Nabaraj Pandey (@zindagibassapni) reported

@virginmedia I already called them, answer is that they can’t do anything, same story OUR T&C applies. Said Iam very sorry for it, it’s goes T&C applies. It’s doesn’t matter anybody… well now Iam customer of BT let’s see how they are to provide service. Till first month they are goody

  • afcb_r0b AFCB_Rob 🍒 (@afcb_r0b) reported

Dear @virginmedia Your COO just said on live tv “We have been able to roll our gigabit broadband quickly and at low cost.” So why is there a significant price increase on your already expensive service? Regards Rob
