@moefitzpatrick I was expecting less support tbh, but the anomaly that is FFG 90 year old voters whose only source of info is Virgin Media and RTÉ will always upset perceived public opinion.

@virginmedia what in the world is up with the wifi in Bournemouth at the moment? No fix until April 15th? I'd very much like some kind of reasonable explanation for that please...

@ChrisWales61 @virginmedia I had similar, they promised me a free month when I complained, that never happened. I complained again and they said the offer had expired (huh?) I record all my calls take names and times with suppliers and on threat of ofcom/ombudsman I got my free month promised.

@IanSlaterPhoto1 @BrydonN2 Absurd. One of the reasons I’ve never left virgin media is that they were the only fibre to the door operator round here till recently.

@mobily_uk @virginmedia The whole point is to just get you locked into another deal. You threaten to switch and then they lower it and hope you fall for it...all while they try to upsell **** TV packages that nobody wants.

  • simmo1024
    Stanley Percival Simmonds (@simmo1024) reported

@Prosperity_Inst This is a question for parents, and parents should have the ability to enforce their decision. See Virgin Media, they have the ability to block social media. Government needs to force all ISPs, especially phone service providers, do provide the same, and turn it on by default. The bill-payer (e.g. the parents) then get to choose which sites to permit. What is not required is digital ID for everyone.
