@virginmedia also run tests. All came back fine. Significantly below minimum guaranteed speed. Average 20mbps. Disappointed that I was promised a call and never got it. Been on hold too long. Appalling service.

@virginmedia hi really need to cancel my broadband account with yourselves but i cant get thru and been ringing for the past couple of days. My new bill has come out (which is extortionate) i was told i could cancel before this but its proving difficult

@virginmedia spoken to your “customer service”. Advised that promises for call back on live chat cannot be traced and nothing they could do. The call centre apparently has no record of live chat conversations. Advisor seemed to blame me! For a media company very poorly connected

@PeterBayliss @Ofcom Must be a local issue for you - I’ve been relying on @ThreeUK for broadband as my @virginmedia 100mbps fibre line has been epically slow even phone calls made on Wifi calling are bad, switch to mobile and it’s perfect 👌

@virginmedia Hi Ty 4 the reply. Very frustrating when I'm using data at home just to receive watsapp messages. i spoke to someone yesterday afternoon. Some settings were changed & was promised it would elevate the problem, but as I described to the chap on the phone this will not rectify it.

@virginmedia It’s not fixed yet @virginmedia still intermittently losing internet won the wired connection also on demand still not working without dropping out and encountering errors - get it fixed as we are sick of paying you top end broadband for nothing

@virginmedia I will know more later when champions league football is on, but after a while on 4k the box will crash and reboot its self , but just replaced the hdmi cables so I will see how it goes, but normally I cant fault your service

@virginmedia My internet and TV has been very spasmodic for a few weeks now which is annoying however it has and been down now for 24 hours. I am highly vulnerable and cannot leave the house no TV no internet this is not a service

@virginmedia reported slow speeds on Sunday. Promised a call back between 2 and 4 hours. Not received. Not getting the minimum guaranteed broadband speed yet paying in full. Proving difficult to speak to anybody. You appear not to care. #poorcustomerservice

@virginmedia 7 days with no service after a botched home move. 6 days of calls each ending telling us that we will have internet the next day. Now told that it will be another 4 days for internet and 11 days for TV. Not good enough and can't even speak to a manager. Shocking

@whippletom They are total charlatans. I phoned to cancel my contract on 7 September. @virginmedia ignored it. After 3 letter and countless phone calls and WhatsApp chats they have today sent me a bill for service ending 11 Nov. I disconnect it myself 14 Oct in the middle of this saga.
