  • agarnett Adam (@agarnett) reported from Wigan, England

@virginmedia Is there any way to tell if there are signal issues in your area? This says i should get 4g indoors and outdoors, i dont though i can barely access mobile internet from my house. Last 3 months have been awful

  • Elisabet0490 🪷Elisabet🪷 (@Elisabet0490) reported from Blackburn, England

@virginmedia my internet has been suffering drop outs all day, now I have no working TV or internet. Being told it's my equipment when it never is, it's getting old that excuse. I will apparently have to wait 3 days for "an engineer to come out" - I can't I have to go to work 😤

  • Radebreast Graeme Radebe (@Radebreast) reported from Ormskirk, England

@virginmedia Hi - Ive noticed alot of people are having the same issues. Its the Sky TV Go app on Playstation 4. Ive checked it on another internet and it works fine so it is definitely an error on your side. You need to sort the internet settings. It struggles to load “on Now” on the app.

  • pillbo01 kevin.james (@pillbo01) reported from Bolton, England

@virginmedia That number is a automated response not a customer service agent and an utter waste of time

  • pillbo01 kevin.james (@pillbo01) reported from Bolton, England

I have virgin media but they don’t have a Customer service that you can speak to. Or email I’ve had a problem for over a month since an engineer messed about in the box in the street. Picture on tv keeps pixilated.

  • geordiegal97 Amy 🌼 (@geordiegal97) reported from Preston, England

@virginmedia broadband is down. WiFi light is solid green whilst the bar is flashing green. Help!

  • pillbo01 kevin.james (@pillbo01) reported from Bolton, England

@virginmedia No as you person on 150 said you do not have a customer service that I could talk too. Your engineer said it was a fault at the box in street so I don’t know when it is fixed. But it’s not improve in the last month

  • DannyLannon dannyWAFClannon (@DannyLannon) reported from Wigan, England

@Louisewafc @virginmedia Nice of Stoke fans turn up to support us

  • TheRealRagtag Stephen Murtagh (@TheRealRagtag) reported from Penwortham, England

Not very often I say good things about @virginmedia but todays service was excellent. Peter sorted out Wi-fi problem, wavered the set up fee, and arranged a new hub after lots of line tests. Thank you. (But will have no service for 6 days in all.🙄 Refund?)

  • pstock62 Paul Stockton (@pstock62) reported from Horwich, England

    @virginmedia Internet down in BL6 5RN, any idea's

  • BooCavapoo BooCavapoo 🐶 (@BooCavapoo) reported from Penwortham, England

@virginmedia No, that's not possible as the yoga device does not have wired port. The WiFi just needs sorting out. Its been terrible for weeks @virginmedia

  • FloButcher84 strange little Flo (@FloButcher84) reported from Blackburn, England

@virginmedia still no broadband in bb3 area since Thurs & update now says tomorrow for fix. Shocking customer service, why can't you tell your customers what is happening instead of saying an engineer is on the way on the updates, at least then we would know what to expect

  • ChrisFoxRacing Christopher Fox (@ChrisFoxRacing) reported from Bolton, England

@virginmedia Already reported the broadband issues, and it's an issue where estimated fix times keep getting pushed back. With regards to mobile issues, this has been around the same length of time. The only way I've been able to get any connection at all is by switching to 3G

  • fos100 Richard Foster (@fos100) reported from New Longton, England

@virginmedia It’s an ongoing issue and an engineer is due out on Thursday but today the internet decided it didn’t want to work on my laptop

  • Radebreast Graeme Radebe (@Radebreast) reported from Ormskirk, England

@virginmedia what have you done to the Sky TV app - its constantly buffering and showing error messages. Just awful service. Please can you get this sorted ASAP please.

  • BeanBolt BeanBolt (@BeanBolt) reported from Southport, England

@virginmedia It says no issue in the area, then when I click "still having issues" the local scan shows intermittent outages in the area, been like this for 24hrs+

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Mark30304067 Mark (@Mark30304067) reported

@virginmedia It's high utilisation, has been for 5 years, every single time I speak to your team I'm told it'll be fixed "next month" never is. Thankfully I spoke to a very helpful lady who told me you're in constant breach of contract.

  • BluegrassHippie David Rozzell (@BluegrassHippie) reported

@virginmedia Thank you, but preparing for a gig and no time to sit on the phone waiting. If it's not back tomorrow I'll call, it's a shame the website help is so completely pointless, it fails to help at all

  • Kelly37535474 Kelly (@Kelly37535474) reported

@virginmedia My parents have no phone line in RM16 but your service status says no issues!!! Please advise urgently.

  • ShuttleworthE Eddy Shuttleworth (@ShuttleworthE) reported

@virginmedia You might want to tell your customer service team about that because they told me the exact opposite thing on Wednesday when I spoke to them...

  • Themooreuk Nick Moore (@Themooreuk) reported

If you’re thinking of getting @virginmedia dont bother it’ll never get installed. I was promised by a “manager” that it would be installed today 6weeks after my original install date. Had a text it’ll be installed in 4 weeks time so 10weeks since my order I mate get my services?

  • Deano44118023 Deano (@Deano44118023) reported

@virginmedia No landline - no dial tone. Service status says everything is OK! So how long before you acknowledge a problem, couple of years ago it was 16 days and an ombudsmen case to boot.

  • naturalsystah Careless Wispa (@naturalsystah) reported

Well @virginmedia said my broadband and TV would be working later tonight...it was up and running again about 2 hours ago, well ahead of time. Can't complain considering the bad weather

  • GamePlayerDave GPD (@GamePlayerDave) reported

@virginmedia That tells me there is an issue, so my next question is, when will it be fixed?

  • Graeme_Horsfall Graeme Horsfall (@Graeme_Horsfall) reported

@virginmedia Nothing on the checker - have booked an engineer. A number of people are out of service in this post code. Very rarely the status checker accurately reflects the actual service level.

  • UnitedMagic7 Jord. (@UnitedMagic7) reported

@boneyjoe69 @virginmedia Yeah I left them mate tried charging me £150 a month so I went sky instead, got everything sports movies for only £78 a month plus the customer service is a joke at virgin media good luck with your search mate
