@virginmedia is there a way for me to find out if my phone number has been leaked or involved in any form of data breach as I've been getting daily phone calls from people pretending to be you? Never anyone else so just intrigued.
-
TheAspiLawStudent (@LawAspi) reported from Chorley, England
@virginmedia Yeah, I've done all that (I'm a techy) it's why it's in modem mode and replaced with a capable router. The issue isnt the equipment it's the connection. Without the hub3 I can run upto 900Mbps download and 240mbps upload.
-
Pete Best (Pil0t Pedr0) (@PIL0TPEDR0) reported from Bolton, England
@virginmedia Still having problems there is a fault in the area, supposed to be fixed by 16:25 today, over 24 hours without Internet is a joke
-
TheAspiLawStudent (@LawAspi) reported from Chorley, England
@virginmedia I have your smart hub 3, or as I like to call it the dumb dumb 3000. (It's struggles to broadcast a decent connection around a 2 bed flat, so it's been banished to modem mode. (Honestly, it's the worst router ive ever dealt with) 😳
-
TheAspiLawStudent (@LawAspi) reported from Chorley, England
@virginmedia LS, I have and do regularly when ever it seems slow. It varies from 12mbps download to a maximum of 110mbps. However the monthly average is under 60mbps. Which falls well short of my guaranteed speed.
-
Wightpie (@wightpie) reported from Blackburn, England
@virginmedia So why then a) does it specify postal and b) not provide a field for mobile number. At best it’s misleading and at worst incompetent
-
Baxy (@Baxy2001) reported from Wigan, England
@virginmedia please can you explain why I have been in a queue to speak to someone for over 35 minutes to try and cancel my contract? Absolute joke of a company, poor services and poor customer service.
-
owen southworth (@obpls1995) reported from Wigan, England

sevs66 (@mgsevs) reported from Kirkham, England
@MeNigeStew I'm with @virginmedia suffering for decent coverage in parts of the house & despite trying a pod (which has yet to work btw) wifi extenders (which fight with the main router) & 2 engineer visits I'm still suffering. Having full TV as well not sure how broadband price breaks down
-
sevs66 (@mgsevs) reported from Kirkham, England
@virginmedia @Piethagoram How about maintaining free roaming charges then seeing as you've hiked the cost of using your service
-
sevs66 (@mgsevs) reported from Kirkham, England
@virginmedia Tried them all over 18 months. Short of moving the router, which imo will shift the issue from one room to another, there's not a lot else open to me according to your representatives. We work from home and my wife uses all her mobile data every month as a wifi hotspot
-
Wightpie (@wightpie) reported from Blackburn, England
@virginmedia Also given that link is for postal marketing how exactly does that help with phone calls? As it stands your systems are non-compliant
-
sevs66 (@mgsevs) reported from Kirkham, England
@virginmedia This help page just walks me through what I've already done, it doesn't show me how to reset the pod
-
Susan Rigby (@terrificsue) reported from Wigan, England
@terrificsue everyone out there be careful when receiving telephone calls and if they say they are from Virgin Media please check and check. I have been scammed today out of a lot of money . I am the one who thought would never be scammed but I was. Oohh .
-
owen southworth (@obpls1995) reported from Wigan, England
@virginmedia question for you. If I enter a contract with you where you promise X service +items and I promise to pay X amount. If I don't pay X amount am I breaking the contract?
-
Stephen Murtagh (@TheRealRagtag) reported from Penwortham, England
@virginmedia No email access for 3 days now on the blueyonder access. All I get is "Oops, this page is broken." System says nothing is wrong. Terrible. I have done a check, and it says everything is working correctly on BBand/Telly. ??? Area 01.
-
Pete Best (Pil0t Pedr0) (@PIL0TPEDR0) reported from Bolton, England
@virginmedia Yet again an intermittent service in Area 20 BL1 2 this has now gone beyond a joke, paying for a service and not getting it
-
bay (@Baynesi83) reported from Mellor, England
@NadineDorries @virginmedia @O2 Here she is again that glam Nan spouting bollocks that is instantly shot down by ordinary people who seem to actually know facts. She really needs to shut up or just read factual information instead of coming across as an incompetent muppet.

Matt (@MattJB18) reported
@virginmedia I’ve already spoken to someone in technical that kept me on the phone for an hour, did nothing, then guaranteed I would get a call back about the issue, & never did. So are you actually going to refund me or have IT fix the issue? It won’t let me register with any email, 4 tried
-
Tim Potter (@ihateblades) reported
@virginmedia Yea it’s sorted now, I’ve had to cancel with you guys, Virgin has been no help whatsoever and your advisers just blame everyone else for my poor internet, even naming other companies that they believe are at fault. This is another customer that you will never get back😡
-
J E A S 💓 (@jessicaealmond) reported

@virginmedia An operator called me to talk about my issues on Monday and put me through. I was told to call back in 2 hours. I’ve been trying ever since. Your service is appalling at the moment.
-
rrobcook (@rrobcook) reported
@donk0802 @virginmedia Try turning on computer and next time when all hell breaks loose check see if pc can get online fine. If it can't, and it's same as WiFi, no internet, get onto virgin, don't take their **** and explain Synchronisation is being lost and it's their responsibility to investigate.
-
Matt (@MattJB18) reported
@virginmedia The issues should be dealt with immediately, not ignored and fobbed off until customers give up. The issue is on your end and all you’ve done is fail to follow through on things you’ve guaranteed twice.
-
Rob Valt (@trebortlav) reported
@virginmedia Everything remains as last described, the app says wi-if is great, download and upload speeds remain truly awful. I have given up trying to call customer services as it is always a terrible experience
-
Jo (@Joanne01998125) reported
@virginmedia Apparently we have a congestion issue but our connection issue has been going on 4 weeks. Not helpful when my partner is a teacher & I'm a website content creator. What's even better is u r going to increase ur prices yet have made no effort to increase the quality of it service!
-
Daniel English (@DanielmjEnglish) reported
@virginmedia Virgin Media internet & Tv spoke to an employee on the 02/02/2021 , 04/02/21 & the 09/02/2021 in regards to your error. I am a manager in customer service in and hands down your company is the worst I have ever dealt with. Apparently mangers take a week to call back?

george (@thedogger31) reported
