  • JRTwrites James R Turner (@JRTwrites) reported

@virginmedia Inconvenience? Just spent 35 minutes on the phone getting nowhere. Luckily the 3rd (!!!) colleague I had to explain everything to had some common sense and had now logged a complaint. This doesn't really help with my installation delay.

  • cirrius_tech Graham Gold 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 #StayHome #StaySafe (@cirrius_tech) reported

@0Bfkx @danjconn @virginmedia Don’t doubt it - one time they wanted me to disconnect my HiveHub before they would help because “we don’t support 3rd routers”. It’s a bloody heating control unit. Nowadays I have their hub in modem mode and use my own WiFi gear - first thing they do is back to router mode.

@bethanyusher lol his outrage at £1.50 p/a I know some people are really struggling but few will miss an additional £1.50 He should see how much Virgin media slap on MONTHLY prices every now and again. But of course such people never really balk when private/privatised companies raise prices.
