Alan Dean (@alandean1878) reported from Roby, England

@virginmedia Everything struggles to stay connected to the Internet. Mobiles, laptops, the TV's. I'm not sure if the speed is an issue as I haven't checked it. (I'm not sure how to.)

  • ShanklyBob77
Ian Hawksey (@ShanklyBob77) reported from Aintree Village, England

Absolute nightmare trying to watch @SkySportsF1 on my phone because of how poor @virginmedia are especially since merging with @o2, used to just put email and password in, now going around in circles with same message asking me to verify email link and switch, very poor practice.

  • SmithysMaud
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia They’ve been today apparently to do the repull and nothing has changed. Still no service. I won’t be paying this month as I’m not paying for nothing.

  • BeanBolt
BeanBolt (@BeanBolt) reported from Southport, England

Tenth issue in FOUR months now with @virginmedia. They've seemed to have stopped replying to my direct messages now. @WeAreOpenreach @bt_uk how long until you're newly installed lines in my area are activated and ready?

  • les_murray71
Lesley Murray (@les_murray71) reported from Wallasey, England

@virginmedia @joshyw0shy Its the whole of the Wirral by the sound of it, no statement from Virgin, just telling hundreds of customers to check for an outage, only have to look at their twitter to see how many of us have been told the same thing

  • kevsauno
Kevin Saunderson* (@kevsauno) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia hello, issues with TV and WiFi in Liverpool L12 area this morning. No issues showing on the app. Tried all the usual stuff but still no connection.

  • lurkinhead
Martin Travis (@lurkinhead) reported from Birkenhead, England

@virginmedia There's no point raising a complaint is there, as you won't comprnsate? Other reputable oroviders offer a back-up 4 or 5g device to kick in if their main broadband goes down, to keep the service running. Not VM though - it's just all really poor customer service innit?

  • NdawanaY
Ndawana Youngson (@NdawanaY) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia Too many service drops. Engineer has been to properly to fix but this persists.

  • jgrailpics
James (@jgrailpics) reported from Liverpool, England

When will I be able to go just one single day without @virginmedia failing, cannot wait until next year when the contract is over, increase the bills but reduce the service to next to nothing?

  • LindzDDub
Lindz Devine (@LindzDDub) reported from Wigan, England

@virginmedia I also play Destiny 2. I thought it may have been their servers but my boyfriend doesn't have the issue.

  • SmithysMaud
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England

@jenwahkiddles @virginmedia Pity they didn’t do it for us, had no tv or broadband for over 3 months and can’t even get the compensation they owe us, plus the direct debits they took knowing we had total loss of service. Shambolic company.

  • Robertlfc_
Rob (@Robertlfc_) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia is honestly the worst company for WiFi

  • timmycooke
Tim Cooke 🇺🇦 (@timmycooke) reported from Wigan, England

@virginmedia Both wired and wireless. We've had 8 engineers out, a rewire, new hub and still endless drop outs. Was told finally it was an upload issue from the amp that supplied the box on the street. But still we're having issues. The 150 number is joke, make it simple!!!

  • SmithysMaud
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia I reported a total loss of service on 31/8. It was finally fixed this morning. After no shows, lies and weeks between visits. They have not even offered to cover the cost of my last 3 dd’s which I wish I hadn’t paid as I had no service whatsoever

  • DaveMbootlebuck
DM 🦌 (@DaveMbootlebuck) reported from Seaforth, England

@virginmedia Hi, I’m a new customer and have been with you for 3 weeks. First week was fine but for the past 2 weeks the connection has been diabolical, now showing red light and currently offline- please can you update us if broadband is down?

  • happymum2005
    Shauna Campbell (@happymum2005) reported

@PeteUK7 @LucyGoBag @virginmedia That’s appalling. Though for even their ‘apology response’ to get community noted is quite a spectacular fail!

  • meta_element
    Yogesh (@meta_element) reported

@virginmedia virgin media your customer support for broadband billing is such a pain to deal with. Shame on you.

  • 1kevin010
    Kevin (@1kevin010) reported

@virginmedia Things are fine now, but it was down for over 6hrs this morning. The thing that annoyed me and others was that virgin didn’t acknowledge any issue online to reassure its customers, something to remember in the future

  • markrmifsud
    markrmifsud (@markrmifsud) reported

@virginmedia it's been said that service should resume 16:00 tomorrow?

  • SteveyC9
    Stevey C 🇮🇪 (@SteveyC9) reported

@VodafoneIreland If there are webpages that I can access via Virgin Media or Three but not via your broadband service, then I think you have a problem.

  • revoraman
    Ric M. (@revoraman) reported

@Benleo Guess what, Ben. @Ofcom after making a complaint o them about @virginmedia inertia not to resolve a service paid for monthly, took the easy way out and copped out. 'Not in our ballpark'. Wonder who owns whom? A regulator not worth the paper it seems!

  • neilheppen
    Heppo (@neilheppen) reported

@virginmedia @GeoffJonners Why should that matter. An existing customers should be offered the same renewal deal whether online or by speaking to an agent. But of course that's not the case - and even the online renewal offer goes up or down every couple of days. Time the regulators got to grips with it.
