@virginmedia Mentioned but not offered as I think they know the problem isn’t in our home . The problem that’s been supposedly fixed is ongoing since 26th Jan . Our minimum download speed is supposed to hardwired at 181 . New router and we are lucky if we get 80 on a good day. Never mind 😞

@virginmedia Yes formal complaint ..... the problem is at your end I believe and we aren’t the only customers in the area affected . It’s just frustrating to be sent messages to say the problem is fixed when it’s clearly not . Enough stress in life without all of this . Leaving contract it is

@virginmedia We are never off the phone to your team for a month now . It’s been escalated to the top apparently on our last call a couple of nights ago . Then we receive a message to say all is well when it’s clearly not . New router and everything . Looking to come out of contract now .

@virginmedia Thanks for the info, leaving due to 6 weeks of problems and very many hours on the phone to yourselves trying to rectify . Told problems sorted when they clearly are not . Causing personal stress to me every time I make another long futile phone call to 150 ( waited 3hrs once)

@AllenWeso6 @1878shadow @virginmedia Just binned them off to go back to Sky. Been paying for the all singing and dancing fibre broadband and it’s slower then my work mobile router! TV picture is dog rough and my Virgin Mobile sim won’t take calls from anyone on the EE network when I’m connected to the WiFi! See ya!

@virginmedia Hi. I've just read your prices will be increasing next week and I still have no communication (email/letter) regarding my price increase. Why? Are yous doing this on purpose so you can charge customers fees as I should have enough time to decide if I want to cancel.

@virginmedia Why is there some bloke opening the BT manhole covers on our estate? I'd don't want your service or have our roads dug up to look like crap, as I've seen the workmanship you have done to where my parents live

@virginmedia Sorry 3rd message just to add - Also when refurbished routers that don't always work & even rattle(!) are being used to replace dodgy routers, so are clearly already faulty themselves so extra engineer appointments are needed so more stress & inconvenience to customer! Not fair!
-
Emily
(@digitalemilyy) reported
@virginmedia They are just told each time that it’ll be fixed by X time, which it never is, and that engineers are working on it, but they rarely see them out there. The entire street is experiencing the same I believe. It’s SP27
