  • AndyMcK1982 Andy McKeown (@AndyMcK1982) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia The technician came on Wednesday & did a wired connection test. We are only getting 180meg which is terrible considering we are paying for 300meg! My children can’t get a signal at all whereas they were fine before! Two visits and still not resolved!

  • Shinpad11 Mackie 🇪🇺🌹☘️🇸🇱 (@Shinpad11) reported from Wigan, England

@virginmedia yet another day blighted with intermittent connection. What on earth is happening with your broadband service? Woeful. #Wigan

@virginmedia Morning. If you’re still here for me, Broadband speed still only (max) 120mbs. Still paying for 350mbs & I’ve factory reset my hub twice. Can you help please? Thanks.

  • Scraggmeister Mark Spencer-Scragg (@Scraggmeister) reported from Seaforth, England

@virginmedia Ok. Thanks for this suggestion. I have posted something on the ‘Community Forum’, but you’re my service provider. Why can’t you sort out my Broadband speed issue? I’m paying for something I’m not receiving. #baffled #gettingannoyednow

  • PammyVegas21 Pamela Lavell (@PammyVegas21) reported from Warrington, England

@virginmedia I was going to go to a better provider but was assured that the price was guaranteed until May 2021. You have broken the terms of the contract AGAIN. How many mature citizens who aren’t as computer savvy get ripped off by you? How is this being allowed to happen? Shame on you

@virginmedia I had a problem a few weeks back and couldn’t get through to you because of the queues, I expect it’s the same now. I should learn my lesson and move to another provider I think.

  • DagsJT Darren Thomas (@DagsJT) reported from Warrington, England

@virginmedia It just says it looks like I can’t get on the internet and it recommends an engineer to come out. On the FOURTH OF JANUARY. During a pandemic when I’m working from home. I left @virginmedia because your service kept dropping, some things never change.

  • AndyMcK1982 Andy McKeown (@AndyMcK1982) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia You are not listening. I understand it fluctuates. What I mean is why have I had an acceptable 300meg signal for 11 months & now it’s dropped to below half that? 4 phone calls & two technician visits can’t sort it???? I want what I had!

  • josie_allan Jo Mclaughlin (@josie_allan) reported from Horwich, England

  • mallen_87 Matt Allen 🔶 (@mallen_87) reported from Horwich, England

@virginmedia I would like to cancel my services with you. When I go online to do this I’m directed to call in. When I call in the IVR directs me online. Can you help?

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • SeyiSoremekun Shay Soremekun (@SeyiSoremekun) reported

@virginmedia I'd be really grateful if you could at least acknowledge my above message even if uncomfortable for you. It's incredibly difficult to work/function for 3 days without Internet, and a holding page where the fix estimate time is just pushed later with no explanation.

  • _junze Baba (@_junze) reported

@virginmedia Yes, the team has been advising me from the last 4 weeks that the issue will get fixed soon. A widespread network fault which is on going for a month in this age doesn't make sense. I can't work from home using unreliable internet connection.I would rather switch to a new ISP.

  • dougsfeline Steve Rhodes (@dougsfeline) reported

@virginmedia The last time I tried that was in June 2020, still waiting for a response. That's taking 'not instant' to extremes. How about you get somebody to ring me (the customer)?

  • VspecAlan VspecAlan (@VspecAlan) reported

@virginmedia when are you going to fix the total blackout in west london. No broadband TV or phone. Thus is now the 3rd day without anything. Disgusting service from such a major company

  • ak67_khan anikhanx (@ak67_khan) reported

Can @virginmedia fix their internet. Trying to do an online lesson and apparently I sound like a robot👍

  • scottwright941 scottwright94 (@scottwright941) reported

@virginmedia Hi, no they haven’t. I’m sat right next to the router and neither my phone or laptop can hold a connection. We pay over 40£ a month for 200mb and it’s never really at that speed

  • liquidmynx LiquidMynx (@liquidmynx) reported

Internet gone again whilst I was on a team meeting, thank you @virginmedia, very reliable. Please can you cancel my contract? You haven’t kept your end by providing me with a service #virginmediadown #sillycompany

  • Rossey44201829 Rossey (@Rossey44201829) reported

@virginmedia My complaints were made last month I understand there is a pandemic but you still want your money on time and all I want is the service I pay for I have boosters they make no difference I've called been cut off 5 times now live chat says ring you say ring I ring they cut off
