@virginmedia Yes I know! They are doing essential works but you say broadband outage and you get data on your phone. That is a breach of trading standards as apparently you don’t do that
-
IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England
@virginmedia Looks like your engineer told me he would book a follow up appointment then didn’t bother. Your customer service lately and ability to provide a service are very lacking
-
Alan Dean (@alandean1878) reported from Roby, England
@virginmedia Still a problem. Programmes we recorded Thurs & Friday are unwatchable (& not available on Catch Up for some reason)
-
Alan Dean (@alandean1878) reported from Roby, England
@virginmedia Hi, I've been on to the Service Status line, no issues. Used My Virgin Media app no issues raised with Broadband or TV provision. Still picture break-ups on some channels.
-
IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England
@virginmedia Planned work which is fine but the advert in writing and on the tv makes it sound good that you get data on your Virgin mobile if your broadband ever goes down. Just finding the contact for trading standards
-
IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England
@virginmedia offer volt speeds of 350 paying for 200 getting 60ish it’s ridiculous I’ve spent hours sending them proof when jitter high they think resetting it all and spending more hours getting everything back up will work and I don’t it’s only been this bad this time since
-
IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England
@virginmedia He swapped out the router said that solved a bit of the issue but speeds still not as expected then said he would have to book a longer appointment to figure out the issue so he went. Waiting for another appointment

Maureen StewartJones (@supergran22) reported from Eccleston, England
Problem with @virginmedia in my area. Unable to watch @jamie_murray & @BrunoSoares82 To say I'm miffed is an understatement. 😠😠
-
Alan Dean (@alandean1878) reported from Roby, England
@virginmedia It's worst on 601 BBC News where either part or all of the screen pixilates. But it happens on other channels to a lesser degree.
-
IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England
@virginmedia They’ve sent a signal to it which they say will fix it but it’s even worse now
-
IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England
@virginmedia Every time it fails I have never been asked to do a reset. The last time they checked their system and sent an engineer who put attenuation on it as the jitter was high and the system showed a fault their end
-
The Mad Hatter (@R_to_the_D) reported from Hindley, England
@virginmedia any news on where you’re expanding your network? I’ve been trying for years to get you to cable our estate and still nothing despite the main road being cabled up
-
IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England
@virginmedia just found out as I’m an oomph customer on volt I should get broadband of 350 but getting 53 jitter is beyond a joke too. What happened?
-
IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England
@virginmedia I don’t want to talk to an Indian call centre going off a script I want a reasonable human who doesn’t work from a script and can help me
-
IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England
@virginmedia The team have booked an engineer but advised changes on router settings that have made it a bit better until the engineer can fix it properly
-
IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England
@virginmedia I need to make a complaint and submit my bill for time wasted with tests that show me what I already know….it’s faulty and has been on and off for a long time and each fix doesn’t fix it
-
Chris molyneux (@MOL_FSG) reported from Warrington, England
@CISASUK yet again you have closed my case without adjudication being completed??? I am starting to think you play a part WITH Virgin media now Extremely poor
-
IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England
@virginmedia are totally crap and lie. No broadband we will put it on your phone like! Call for 30 minutes beginning for help all I get is I understand
-
IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England
@virginmedia I already spent ages on the phone on Friday when I needed internet but you were doing essential works. I study, work and have a young daughter I don’t have time for long phone calls for a service that should work.
-
IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England
@virginmedia are useless fixing an area so they break your broadband then get you to do lots of useless tests that show the same thing then ask for a reset that will not fix anything

AVOID @virginmedia AT ANY COST! Royal Mail have now lost my phone and VM are refusing to honor the £128 trade in quote, instead are offering me £28 for the lost device, how does Virgin continue to scam and mislead customers at every step. This is an issue between VM & RM, not me
-
Justin C (@supasaffa) reported
@virginmedia Whats the point of this, you are wasting my time once again. I have gone through this and been on calls, nothing gets recorded against my account. I am tired of the terrible service provided by your organisation
-
Justin C (@supasaffa) reported
@virginmedia @BBCNews @BBCWatchdog ... I called multiple times and they just hang up on you. If you read the tweets they are so sorry for everything but then just send you to their site to sit in a chat Window. ...
-
Ashleigh (@AshleighStewy) reported
Never using Virgin Media again. Absolutely shocking customer service, takes hours to get through on the phone so I tried the web chat and it’s currently unavailable? How am I supposed to discuss my account if I can’t get through? All they care about is money
-
supergooner (@aaronsu72974941) reported
@virginmedia internet down, and service to test hub also down any help ???
-
🌺 Leah Price 🌺 (@LeahPrice_x) reported
@virginmedia I was just told there was a fault in my area and they are working on it. But when I do a service check in my area it just says the TV is down, not the broadband.
-
bunny (@bunnymaid) reported
@virginmedia Nice try. This does not state if you have 1 IP address with 2 NATs, 1 for the hotspot and 1 for the customer. Which is what I am trying to clarify. That FAQ is for users, not engineers (in the wrong country trying to troubleshoot something.)

A.Flamingo (@alisonedwards78) reported
@virginmedia @VirginMedia_TV I’ve spent days on the phone & online chat & getting nowhere!! I’m getting extremely frustrated. As if moving home not stressful enough now I have to waste hours/days trying to get someone to help!!

@virginmedia Thanks, I've been registering the outages as they have been happening. Ideally, I'd like to terminate my contract as this is now ongoing every couple of days, could you please let me have a contact number where I can do this. Cheers.
