  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia I looked and that says it’s from the day I registered the total loss of service which was yesterday but really it should be from Friday afternoon when I did the online chat. If I DM you can you check?

  • Robertlfc_
Rob (@Robertlfc_) reported from Liverpool, England

  • SmithysMaud
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia 3 x engineer visits, each time telling me there’s a blockage. Why does nobody fix it? I can’t even get through to cancel my services and get a refund for the direct debits I’ve paid when I’ve had zero service.

  • SmithysMaud
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia I reported a total loss of service on 31/8. It was finally fixed this morning. After no shows, lies and weeks between visits. They have not even offered to cover the cost of my last 3 dd’s which I wish I hadn’t paid as I had no service whatsoever

  • DaveMbootlebuck
DM 🦌 (@DaveMbootlebuck) reported from Litherland, England

@virginmedia Mine has just gone down now. I can’t ring via the virgin phone because the phone is connected to the hub.

  • realjackoh187
Jack Kelly (@realjackoh187) reported from Widnes, England

@virginmedia Visit was fine replaced wifi. I was never out of Internet completely like it says only your compensation page, but it was equally as bad since my step daughter had online training to do which couldn't be done at all. My children also were not able to do homework.

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia See thread above, nothing changes except the time of the estimated fix. It must be very localised as not everyone in my area is affected. So if it is damaged cables, I haven’t seen anyone out repairing them over the weekend, it’s a joke

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia 2/2 who can I speak to as it was working fine on Friday until the issues that were nothing to do with me happened, so don’t see why I should now pay for a technician

  • TheWiganParky
Laser Lux, Wigan. (@TheWiganParky) reported from Haydock, England

@virginmedia It says there's no issues at the moment, but I'm only getting 13mbps.

  • RWBJ1997
Jonesy (@RWBJ1997) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia your customer service team is proper shite. Your router is in the bin outside ours

  • realjackoh187
Jack Kelly (@realjackoh187) reported from Widnes, England

@virginmedia Just wifi, the phones tablets tv all just going off randomly. I have now booked a technician but I have been doing the troubleshooting for 2 days and its saying the issue is being fixed. Its only today they have said to send a technician

  • Robertlfc_
Rob (@Robertlfc_) reported from Liverpool, England

  • ShanklyBob77
Ian Hawksey (@ShanklyBob77) reported from Aintree Village, England

Absolute nightmare trying to watch @SkySportsF1 on my phone because of how poor @virginmedia are especially since merging with @o2, used to just put email and password in, now going around in circles with same message asking me to verify email link and switch, very poor practice.

  • aralph50
Amanda Ralph (@aralph50) reported from Liverpool, England

Please sort this out. You charge enough, surely we are entitled to a service that actually works??@virginmedia #virginmedia

  • LindzDDub

  • SmithysMaud
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia can someone help me please? I’m about to lose my ****. Never ever known anything like this company. Now telling me lies on WhatsApp. Saying i logged an issue weeks after engineers had already been out to find the fault. Refusing compensation after 4 mths no service.

  • TimmyJ1972
Tim Jackson (@TimmyJ1972) reported from Garston, England

@virginmedia I’d love to hear from how I’m supposed to report an issue with my broadband. You can’t do it via live chat and seemingly not via the phone either as you’re “experiencing difficulties”

@virginmedia No you can’t log on in that way. I’ve tried it. And we shouldn’t have to when we’ve paid for the service. Very poor.

  • jimswanstonlive
    Jimmy Swanston (@jimswanstonlive) reported

@virginmedia @EllisMartin Hoping for refund on it everyday there seems to be a problem with my broadband or tv and pay enough money each month

  • robheneghan
    Rob Heneghan (@robheneghan) reported

@virginmedia @CliveR39 How is this even close to being an acceptable response @virginmedia. Mine doesn’t work either. And watching sky sports doesn’t help when what I want to watch is on the red button. 🤠🤠🤠🤠

  • utarg
    Mike Cook (@utarg) reported

@virginmedia @SkySports explain why I am paying for red button service to watch matches and the service is not working....

  • Ruislip33
    Johnny A (@Ruislip33) reported

@christofflennon If you download sky sports app and then select watch, then login with Virgin Media option at bottom of the page it works that way

  • RorgViking
    VikingRik (@RorgViking) reported

@IainSankey @virginmedia Virgin are awful, used to work for the Megastores. Brandon's a ****

  • anthodges
    Ant Hodges (@anthodges) reported

@virginmedia No inconvenience - I’m asking if I can charge you if your engineer cancels on me and wastes my time as you had to remind me many time that I would have to pay you of if I cancelled - I think it’s only fair that I can if you cancel.

  • Katuhstrophikz
    Katuhstrophikz (@Katuhstrophikz) reported

@elliviant See if you can get with virgin media they have a new customer discount as well

  • stevenjh1821
    Stevie (@stevenjh1821) reported

@colonbarbarian @virginmedia @SkyUK I got a deal of them via email a few years back. Gigabyte sports movies there hole package for £60. Then my bill came in around 190. They tired to get out of it by saying I never accept it. About 6 hours on the phone and they finally said they where.

  • SamReesO
    Sam Rees (@SamReesO) reported

@virginmedia @eirwenjulia Perhaps… refund the downtime and fix it? That would be super helpful..
