@virginmedia I have to say your Internet connection is ridiculous... for months on end, it's been shocking. I'm sick and tired of resetting my hub, I shouldn't be having this issue. Never had so much issue for the years I've had you and now, the past 6 months, I'm paying monies…

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia Could the problems in the area have caused damage to the equipment? As it was working fine before. Do I get compensation for all this time as the earliest appointment is Friday 14th?

  • EmsydilemsyL
Emma Latham (@EmsydilemsyL) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia advice please! I’ve been a customer for over ten years and am also an o2 customer and my account is now going up by another £12 per month on a pretty basic package! Phoned twice and been told that someone will get back to me with a new price package - still nothing

  • SmithysMaud
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia 38 days after the repull should’ve been done? You think that’s good customer service?

  • IanRobEfc1878
IanRob79💙 (@IanRobEfc1878) reported from Wigan, England

@virginmedia your red button service is absolute dogshit you either get the wrong commentary or it doesn’t even come on! 🤯🤬

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia I first informed Virgin Media that my internet was down via online chat on Friday afternoon. Will this have automatically been the time when my loss of service was registered as at the time the advisor said it would be fixed in 24 hours?

  • realjackoh187
Jack Kelly (@realjackoh187) reported from Widnes, England

@virginmedia Visit was fine replaced wifi. I was never out of Internet completely like it says only your compensation page, but it was equally as bad since my step daughter had online training to do which couldn't be done at all. My children also were not able to do homework.

  • JohnMurphy9172
murf (@JohnMurphy9172) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia Just managed to get hold of someone, and apparently after over 10 years of no problems I now need WiFi boosters at an extra cost to myself all of a sudden, they couldn't tell me why just trying to squeeze more money out of me

  • DaveMbootlebuck

  • NdawanaY

  • lurkinhead
Martin Travis (@lurkinhead) reported from Birkenhead, England

@virginmedia There's no point raising a complaint is there, as you won't comprnsate? Other reputable oroviders offer a back-up 4 or 5g device to kick in if their main broadband goes down, to keep the service running. Not VM though - it's just all really poor customer service innit?

  • TheWiganParky
Laser Lux, Wigan. (@TheWiganParky) reported from Haydock, England

@virginmedia It says there's no issues at the moment, but I'm only getting 13mbps.

  • LindzDDub
Lindz Devine (@LindzDDub) reported from Wigan, England

@virginmedia @virginhelp I've never had this much issue as I have had today. I'm plugged in on ethernet, I've reset my hub, and checked my area and there is no issue at all. My WiFi is working from my hub but yet its booting me out of Destiny 2 and not just that but the chat parties on PS5 itself

  • RayWaring
Ray Waring (@RayWaring) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia Sorry I really don’t get it. A few hours ago I was told that your team would investigate etc. Now you’re telling you don’t have any access so I’m left to hang on with no one from VM being able to update me. Is that it?

  • John_L_Bird
    John Bird (@John_L_Bird) reported

@virginmedia This is not an acceptable solution having to crowd around an ipad when customers have paid to watch it on their TVs. Seems it was the same last week for the league cup games? Given all the problems Virgin had with the red button in the past this is really poor.

  • VirginMediaNews

@Lindstar24 Look up Databank, all the big 3 do it , goes back to 2021 when Virgin Media O2 initiated it via the Good Things Foundation, but Vodaphone , 3 , also via community hubs , food banks , charities. EE BT do similar to help data poverty .

@virginmedia Well, your support line have now told me that you won’t be fixing the line until 24th September, and even then they can’t guarantee it. I’m calling tomorrow to cancel everything

  • Cruffers
    Cruffers (@Cruffers) reported

@virginmedia No you can’t log on in that way. I’ve tried it. And we shouldn’t have to when we’ve paid for the service. Very poor.

  • 154PinkChairs

  • lizzyfmant
    Liz Vine (@lizzyfmant) reported

@virginmedia can you please update when you plan to solve the intermittent service issue in the ME8 area. Really fed up of my internet cutting out daily. Engineer yesterday says it’s an open issue however it’s been going on weeks. Surely you should have resolved this by now?

  • CaswellAdrian
    Adrian Caswell (@CaswellAdrian) reported

@bmstewart2004 The same with Virgin Media a few months ago. If they hadn’t been so greedy they would still have a customer. I’ll never go back to a big corporation if there’s an alternative.

    Kathy Miller (@KathyMi25429227) reported

You say online service back at 7.08pm but on automated phone says 0.08pm....shocking @virginmedia
