@virginmedia Hi RCG, I say hours, was just short of an hour! All sorted now. My gripe is there should be a cancel/leave option on the website saves ringing up and waiting when you are leaving no matter what.

@virginmedia your customer service is abysmal. I am fed up of chatting to a robot or someone in india repeatedly asking me the same questions and getting absolutely nowhere. 3 engineer visits, many phonecalls, online chats (some not even answered) and still got nowhere.

@SkyHelpTeam I’m on Facebook Messenger and three times I appear to have been passed around to another agent, three time’s being asked to provide my name and info. Then get told someone will be with me. This is really poor customer service. Come back @virginmedia, all is forgiven.

Moved from @virginmedia to @SkyUK but phone number hasn’t moved. @virginmedia say it’s possible to still port it and the response from @SkyUK - we don’t know how to do that, hang up and try to speak to someone else after 3 hours on the phone 🤬🤬🤬

@virginmedia IT says there's no issues in the area, the speed test was done wirelessly. I have the hub in the same place I have always had the modems, hubs in. This issue has been ongoing ever since I received the newest hub. All wires are in tightly so it's not that. I have a new phone too

@virginmedia So it's not the devices. As I say it's only since this new hub. All I get when I ring customer services is run these tests etc equipment working fine but there must be some underlying problem somewhere

Just had a call from @virginmedia asking me what I use my network for, how many devices I have on the network. Please mind your own business, answers to these questions can be used by OCGs to target my home and only call me if you really have to. Thanks

@virginmedia Hi. I’ve done this today and apparently nobody can tell me anything about it. They can only check current outtage and keep referring me to my account/help pages online which can’t help me yet. With so many people working from home I can see this being a problem going forward.

-
Mark Cameron
(@Mark_Cams) reported
@virginmedia Done through the website, the first 2 responded saying it wasn’t going to be resolved & I should complain to another company & the 3rd one I’ve had nothing. This isn’t the issue, the issue is the staff I speak to on the phone lying and not being capable of doing their job!
-
Gareth Lewis
(@GarethJamLewis) reported
@virginmedia Hi. It's the V6 box. We don't appear to have problems with any other devices.
-
Geoff Airey

@kieransofar @virginmedia I raised 2 complaints for terrible customer service and both were effectively ignored, despite a member of staff being very rude to me and the fact that I couldn’t get Technical Support for their broken network. Best choice to is change providers.
-
Mark Cameron
(@Mark_Cams) reported
@virginmedia Yes, I think you’re missing the whole point here though. Why should I, the customer spend more of my time complaining to another company while Virgin do nothing? All I’m asking for is someone to do their job and close an account after 12 months of asking.
-

@virginmedia yes i’ve tried 7 times - if you can’t remotely detect a fault then i can’t raise the complaint - it’s a really fun loop to be stuck in.

Talking to @virginmedia tech support at the moment. I think they should upgrade to a brick wall; at least then you aren't expecting a useful response! Automated bots with no relevant options and when you get a person they transfer you back to the bot!!!

Virgin Media upgraded or updated the network around my area. Since then it’s broken down twice. Guess the upgrade was to make it break down more regular.
