Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Runcorn and nearby locations:
-
Martin Travis (@lurkinhead) reported from Birkenhead, England@virginmedia Okay, but with respect, the problem is your call centre say different stuff every time, which inevitably bears no resemblance to reality. Later, VM deny those conversations ever took place and there is no written evidence to back up what was agreed. That's what I am after here?

-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England@virginmedia No, they just left. Rang your customer service they are now telling me the problem is internal. I’ve had no internet since July, no tv since August. It’s beyond a joke now. 5 visits I’ve had.
-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England@virginmedia I reported a total loss of service on 31/8. It was finally fixed this morning. After no shows, lies and weeks between visits. They have not even offered to cover the cost of my last 3 dd’s which I wish I hadn’t paid as I had no service whatsoever
-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England@virginmedia 3 x engineer visits, each time telling me there’s a blockage. Why does nobody fix it? I can’t even get through to cancel my services and get a refund for the direct debits I’ve paid when I’ve had zero service.

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
THE Rev. Quantum Bigfoot ♿️ #FLTG OG Anti-RGB OAP (@RevQntmBigfoot) reported@sephiroth17181 @virginmedia Current ISP only supplies Eero routers & they are terrible but have to keep one on hand in case external connection drops to optical box as they won’t even raise an issue unless their router connected (configured it so don’t have to change anything on the network if have to)
-
Seph (@sephiroth17181) reported@RevQntmBigfoot @virginmedia the worst part for me is i explained clearly at least 6 times, but each rep was like "lets check wifi" "oh you need a wifi extender" i get more sense talking to the brick wall behind my monitor than any rep from virgin
-
🌸🌻Owen🌻🌸 (@SmoothBrainOwen) reported@Simon_Whale @virginmedia Virgin media were diabolical when I was with them for telly and Internet. Charged an arm and a leg, nothing ever worked. They tried the same **** with kit plus early exit fees - even though I left at the end of the contract.
-
Dan🥷 (@_DanJbh) reported@Simon_Coates @Simon_Whale @virginmedia I think so, seeing as im an telecommunications engineer. Just stating my prices like everyone else never once mentioned your "Starlink"
-
Michael Anderson (@Michael45048695) reported@Simon_Whale @virginmedia Virgin are terrible to try and talk to about any problems, i got really lucky and ended up talking to a member of the board who corrected it for me despite another board member trying to reverse it.
-
Wistern1337 (@wistern1337) reportedSickening it's still hard for customers leave your service despite being fined by the UK government £28m I moved away from your service in March to a new provider. I have been charged over £300 for unused services. Refund refused. Never sign up to ripoff Virgin! @virginmedia
-
Matthew Illingworth (@MJIllingworth) reportedWhat compensation am I entitled to as every other day there is an outage in my area. I require constant connection to WiFi and this just isn't providing that service. It's too inconsistent and I'm looking to end my contract because of tgue @virginmedia
-
Murad (@Murxdkhxn) reported@virginmedia so I’ve had a total loss of connection. An engineer came to my property and said the issues are with the wires from the main leads which are on another street that leads to my property. How can this issue be resolved asap?
-
A S Murray 🦔 (@AsTrubludru) reported@ZDangermouse @virginmedia If you have a decent data plan, you can use your phone as a hot spot for your smart tv. I’ve done it for an Xbox a few times when my internet went out. Games are a little slow, but Netflix and other streaming services were good when I did it.
-
Smeagle The Beagle (@aking4) reported@DeviateDefiant @virginmedia @MoneySupermkt They are so bad, just been ripped off by Virgin but I’ll move soon!
