@virginmedia I tell them to ring 999 or 0151 709 6010 if they want to report a crime. They hang up but they sound South Asian and their English is poor. I worry about other oaps being conned. Good luck chasing them.

@virginmedia The guy was the most arrogant person I've ever spoke to in CS, retentions is meant to be the end of the line, if it was my service and not my wife's 93 year old nan i'd have cancelled the contract. I asked to speak to a manager and was told "managers don't speak to customers"....

Absolute nightmare trying to watch @SkySportsF1 on my phone because of how poor @virginmedia are especially since merging with @o2, used to just put email and password in, now going around in circles with same message asking me to verify email link and switch, very poor practice.

  • RayWaring
Ray Waring (@RayWaring) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia Sorry I really don’t get it. A few hours ago I was told that your team would investigate etc. Now you’re telling you don’t have any access so I’m left to hang on with no one from VM being able to update me. Is that it?

@virginmedia Visit was fine replaced wifi. I was never out of Internet completely like it says only your compensation page, but it was equally as bad since my step daughter had online training to do which couldn't be done at all. My children also were not able to do homework.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • PariPassu_Rx
    Pari Passu Newsletter (@PariPassu_Rx) reported

Telefónica and Liberty Global are looking at ways to bring down the £22bn debt pile at Virgin Media O2, their UK joint venture, after a sharp sell-off in the company's bonds. A roughly $925mn unsecured note fell to as low as 57 cents on the dollar this week, down from about 78 at the start of July, and even the senior secured paper slipped. The measures under discussion include cutting the expected £200mn dividend, pulling back capex, and reducing headcount.

@virginmedia been locked out of webmail since 22 May. Supposedly repaired & reset but though I can now get into my account I STILL can't access webmail. Still showing Forbidden 403 despite my tech expert working on it several hrs today. 9 WEEKS! Paying £133.50/mth. HELP PLEASE!

  • Hayden_Willan
    hayden willan (@Hayden_Willan) reported

@virginmedia So what’s the point of the online renewal journey? Is the system designed to help customers, or just to annoy them?

  • ScouseBouncy
Scouse House Bouncy Music (@ScouseBouncy) reported

@virginmedia Not my account so I can speak you about it. What happens though is, you start a stream and then it corrupts, goes to a black screen and goes to a “Error code: COMPO” then closes. This is not network related, it’s not a box issue. It is an issue with authentication

  • CleanzineEditor
    Jan Hobbs (@CleanzineEditor) reported

@virginmedia I've just sent a message & X told me there was a problem & my message would be saved. I'm hoping you receive it soon.

  • victor50
    Kev (@victor50) reported

@virginmedia if Virgin paid me £5 for every time the wifi went down, I’d be a wealthy man. I am anyway, but not quite enough to sue under the trades description act for diabolical service. Absolutely awful. The new provider can’t get in our area quick enough.
