@virginmedia No, the picture still looks like I’m watching TV on a cheese grater. Looking at a few threads on your forum this isn’t a new issue either, customers have been experiencing this for well over a year. How’s about I stop paying for the TV part of the package until it’s sorted??

@virginmedia I need to cancel a engineer appointment for Wednesday. I’ve already been on the phone 40 minutes and I’m not waiting any longer especially after being told ‘we’ll prioritise you’. Please cancel it otherwise it’s a pointless trip for your engineer

@virginmedia Ok. Thanks for this suggestion. I have posted something on the ‘Community Forum’, but you’re my service provider. Why can’t you sort out my Broadband speed issue? I’m paying for something I’m not receiving. #baffled #gettingannoyednow

@virginmedia I had a problem a few weeks back and couldn’t get through to you because of the queues, I expect it’s the same now. I should learn my lesson and move to another provider I think.

@virginmedia It just says it looks like I can’t get on the internet and it recommends an engineer to come out. On the FOURTH OF JANUARY. During a pandemic when I’m working from home. I left @virginmedia because your service kept dropping, some things never change.

@virginmedia You are not listening. I understand it fluctuates. What I mean is why have I had an acceptable 300meg signal for 11 months & now it’s dropped to below half that? 4 phone calls & two technician visits can’t sort it???? I want what I had!

@virginmedia I was going to go to a better provider but was assured that the price was guaranteed until May 2021. You have broken the terms of the contract AGAIN. How many mature citizens who aren’t as computer savvy get ripped off by you? How is this being allowed to happen? Shame on you

@virginmedia are awful at dealing with internet issues. 2 months now of intermittent internet where I’ve had to use my phone data AT HOME because the internet is so bad, whilst also paying £62 for this crappy service?! Absolutely ridiculous

@virginmedia Hi, I’m unable to use the Reddit app when not on wifi. Only that, everything else is fine. Last time this happened it was due to newly added parental controls, but these are disabled so it shouldn’t be an issue. Any suggestions?

@virginmedia I have posted on the forums in the link above. Unfortunately the response times are awfully slow. But then your phone lines are even worse. I've got 3 days left of my 14 day cooling off period, and I'm seriously considering looking elsewhere!

Figured I’d give @virginmedia one last chance, and just asked them to match a new customer deal in the context of all the service issues we’ve had. No, “new customers only” is still a thing, apparently.

@virginmedia It’s the WiFi in your hub 4 that’s the issue, I get full speed from Ethernet. Had to plug in my old Vodafone router to get work done on WiFi it’s that bad.

Steve McCormack

@virginmedia OK. The app does show there's a problem, with an estimated fix time of 4pm tomorrow (24 March) which is pretty poor to fix a landline after several days with no service.
-
Clarky
(@ClarkySpurs) reported
@virginmedia You haven’t raised it. Your colleague confirmed when she looked it wasn’t raised and now all I’ve got is the say so that an email has been sent with no reference to match it to. It’s needs sorting. It’s your mess, you need to fix it.
