When you cancel a direct debit pending an overpayment query, an extortionate figure is taken by them, you get charged £7.50 for late payment, you are on hold for 45 minutes and then they say the direct debit wasn’t cancelled 👀NEVER CHOOSE VIRGIN @virginmedia @SCOAF_UK

@virginmedia Today so far so good but this has been happening every day for the past 2 weeks but I can never get through on the phone on hold for an hour at a time only to be cut off!! Went off again twice last night trying work from home is impossible

@virginmedia Yes keeps shutting down then going through the start up routine on the modem green light etc sometimes it’s off for 10 mins sometimes longer but can happen up to 7/8 time a day

@virginmedia We pay for 500+mbps and at times, usually on an evening receive either nothing or around 50kbps and you’re telling me speeds aren’t the issue? The piss poor quality of virgin overall is an issue. The router is that ********* one with white light on it, I don’t know the name.

@virginmedia It been restored. My point being an SMS or email to business clients would have saved me a call. Why not proactively alert, than point people to status. (Who ironically might not be able to access). "Our service is down but we are on it. Will update with eta or resolution." Easy.
