@virginmedia ...when all she has is TV on an old box and a phone line. She's house bound and this is all she has. The 1st feller attitude was disgusting and said like it or lump it. Clearly doesn't enjoy his job at Virgin Media and customer service is not his game! Awaiting a manger today, ty

Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia I reported a total loss of service on 31/8. It was finally fixed this morning. After no shows, lies and weeks between visits. They have not even offered to cover the cost of my last 3 dd’s which I wish I hadn’t paid as I had no service whatsoever

@virginmedia Was Thursday or Friday but you never call me back when you say you will, so I'm not confident it will be completed unless I keep chasing it up.

  • alandean1878

@virginmedia The nightmare continues!!! Buffering is now a way of life for us. As is watching any programme on a streaming service in short two minute bites!

  • TimmyJ1972
Tim Jackson (@TimmyJ1972) reported from Garston, England

@Sarahlw_95 @virginmedia Sarah I wouldn’t bother with WhatsApp, I’ve been speaking to various people for over a month on there trying to sort my incorrect bill. They just tell you it’s resolved when it isn’t. Scandalous service.

@virginmedia Sorry I really don’t get it. A few hours ago I was told that your team would investigate etc. Now you’re telling you don’t have any access so I’m left to hang on with no one from VM being able to update me. Is that it?

Hi @virginmedia, my dear old mum has been on the phone for 20 minutes because her broadband has gone down. Your advisors keep saying to reset the hub and disconnecting before it's sorted. Any ideas? Still using the crap one you sent years ago despite her recontracting

  • Glawsloz
    Lawrence Landray (@Glawsloz) reported

So I now have to wait until Monday evening before @virginmedia will send an engineer out to sort our Hub4 issue. A weekend without the internet. So all our home devices and appliances that need internet connection are now unusable for weekend

  • markenello
    Mark Sutherland * (@markenello) reported

@BrianNicholso16 @virginmedia Their customer service is appalling, I've told them i am leaving and the date, which is my contract end date so they have sent me a bill for beyond that on out of contract fees

  • robert_cashin
    Robert Cashin (@robert_cashin) reported

@virginmedia Service desk closed for the evening, so logging this here. Broadband and television down in B24 8RB. TV shows a code CS2004. WiFi hub flashing red and TV box flashing a symbol with two arrows. Have rebooted WiFi, but this has made no difference.

  • MelinaKakoulid7
    Melina Kakoulidis (@MelinaKakoulid7) reported

I think the @virginmedia customer services agents are like computers rather than human beings they are unable to have any conversations and comprehend on what is being said to them by a human being. They are working from a script and are unable to deviate from a script.

  • Alissa_SarahLou
    Alissa (@Alissa_SarahLou) reported

@virginmedia When are you going to issue a formal statement on the nationwide outage. Cm16 area been out since last Thursday, but for others I can see it's been a lot longer. Do right by your customers and issue a statement.

  • Glawsloz
    Lawrence Landray (@Glawsloz) reported

How about you supply the service I’m paying you for instead @virginmedia I now can’t have an engineer until 1st June so no Internet until

  • CBTwizard
    Shelton (@CBTwizard) reported

@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia I was in a pretty similar boat, now they're chasing me for £500 early termination I was fed up with the poor reliability, then lost full connection, lost income (WFH), them pushing the fix dates over a month no service. Left to BRSK, never had an issue, far cheaper, far better.

  • FrazzzYT
    Frazzz (@FrazzzYT) reported

Virgin Media has got to have some of the worst systems in the UK. Demanding money (I kid you not putting a demand for £0.00 or they will cut service and apply late fees) spoke to complaints they sorted and wiped everything. Literally two mins ago a new email demanding money >.>

  • AlfiePupper
Alfie Pupper Esq 2 (@AlfiePupper) reported

Hey @virginmedia how come the only part of your service that works consistently is billing? Posting on here because I have more chance of handcuffing a ghost than speaking to a human employee for help. Funny, cos when you wanted to sell your service we couldn’t get rid of you!
