@virginmedia I rebooted it yesterday and a number of times previously. I’m now in receipt of a Cat. 6 Ethernet cable which has improved wired speeds - I’d suggest these should come as standard - but wireless speeds are still slow and unreliable.

@Loddonbrewery @virginmedia That’s because YODEL’s contract is with the sender, Virgin. They’ll tell the customer (you) to contact the sender. Virgin keeps telling customers to contact YODEL. They know that’s wrong, yet keep doing it.

@virginmedia No reported issues. Used the guide before - it’s why I moved the router. Poor signal is because I moved the PS4 5ft across the room. But it’s less than 5m away from the router in a straight line - obscured only by the floor and the tv is sits next to.

@virginmedia New hub was tried ages ago. We had issues with it and my wife contacted Virgin about it. We were told to unplug it and just use the old one. Old hub has been okay but not perfect. Just recently it's been a bit more inconsistent with the speeds and not as reliable

@virginmedia That’s really not good enough EC, don’t have time. This happens multiple times every week, sometimes it’s just fluctuating, others down for hours or even days. The issue is the local box on our street, for the love of god pls send an engineer. Fix it. We’re being robbed😬😡

Honestly @virginmedia must be the worst ever. Their twitter wont give customer service email address, which their online advised they would send me (after 3 hours), they reply to a complaint email (with DNR email) asking me to call them to get the email address. WTA! People work!
