AWFUL SERVICE. Wrote to @virginmedia about my mobile; no response so rang 789 who cut me off 3 times as they couldn't put me through to that office in Swansea. Direct number online was wrong. On 4th call logged complaint; they to ring me back in 3 days. Not holding my breath.

  • RedElectro Red Electro (@RedElectro) reported from Warrington, England

Well, @richardbranson @virginmedia - been a customer since the Telewest days, but the broadband service is almost unusable now. I don’t know what’s going wrong, but you’re going to start losing customers rapidly, if you don’t get this sorted.

  • Billzy79 Billzy (@Billzy79) reported from Liverpool, England

@rteifler @virginmedia We have been a loyal customer for many years 👍😎

  • LiamFitzy9 Liam Fitzpatrick (@LiamFitzy9) reported from Liverpool, England

  • Sam_Cook_1986 Samuel Cook (@Sam_Cook_1986) reported from Warrington, England

@virginmedia disappointed to say the least. Customer for 5 years, out of contract, bill is £120 a month, Phone up to renew and negotiate, no offers. Despite Amazon being a new competitor for sports and the mobile experience being infinitely better with them. Package cancelled.

  • DagsJT Darren Thomas (@DagsJT) reported from Warrington, England

@virginmedia Adding a character and then removing that character worked. By pasting the password in, it wasn’t accepting the password regardless. It needed a character to be manually added. I’ve never seen that before on any password fields on any other site, seems like an API issue maybe.

  • thecraigthomas Craig Thomas (@thecraigthomas) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia you are just awful at customer service and fault management. I am utterly appalled

  • DagsJT Darren Thomas (@DagsJT) reported from Warrington, England

@virginmedia Nope. I have username already selected to my email address, password filled in on both fields, security question drop down selected and answer given in the field, and date of birth drop downs all selected. There’s nothing else I can select or that hadn’t been filled in now.

  • gordonturner71 Gordon Turner (@gordonturner71) reported from Warrington, England

@virginmedia Your customer service is shit and thankyou for destroying my driveway, Iam sorry I took out my broadband with you now. Cant wait till it finishes.

  • stu_the_supply Stuart (@stu_the_supply) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia I need some technical help as my equipment is faulty. Tried all the resets and followed advise but box keeps going into standby. Also not been loading any tv planner or what’s up next for weeks. The box is over 7 years old. Think a technician would be helpful

  • Daniel2Curtis Dan (@Daniel2Curtis) reported

@virginmedia Me and girlfriend have been trying to cancel our broadband and tv account with you for 24 hours now but everytime we try the request gets ignored and the chat then gets closed down! We're on our 5th attempt. Sort it out!

  • HaggisPaddy Paddy Gillen - Podcast Dad (@HaggisPaddy) reported

For context, as someone who has their own internal network run off a virgin media router, and I can see exactly how many times it goes on and off over the past week? This is HOURS before VM texts to say "oh hey, we're having issues, soz".

  • StarLightsGirlx Sam Norris (@StarLightsGirlx) reported

@virginmedia I’ll tell him but your crap and **** Customer Service needs sorting out

  • realBenPrebble Ben Prebble (@realBenPrebble) reported

@virginmedia @TheBHF @O2 Currently been waiting 2 days on whatsapp- you keep asking me if I’m still there and requiring input to stay in the queue whilst never being there yourselves. What an absolute joke.

  • ImproperFooty Eddy James (@ImproperFooty) reported

@virginmedia I'm telling you, you have some kind of security issue. There is no other way they could have gotten the details they did. And then the cyber attack in Ireland yesterday? Too much of a coincidence, you must have shared services with Irish operations

  • P12Moony Moony (@P12Moony) reported

@virginmedia And calculating increases via a 'formula' is not consideration/balance of any issues...it is a formula using the highest of inflation figures and still more on top. Wages are not set by this highest figure, are they? Greed...darned greed!

  • realBenPrebble Ben Prebble (@realBenPrebble) reported

@virginmedia @HISTORYUK Currently been waiting 2 days on whatsapp- you keep asking me if I’m still there and requiring input to stay in the queue whilst never being there yourselves. What an absolute joke.

  • ImproperFooty Eddy James (@ImproperFooty) reported

@virginmedia There is no possible way they could have gotten this combination of credentials from anywhere other than you. You either have not revealed you've been hacked as it's a PR issue or you don't know. Either way, it's very, very concerning

  • ___GJS___ G R A H A M (@___GJS___) reported

@virginmedia No point, you’ll all wash your yards of it as per the 5 people I have spoken to in the past 48h. Oh hang on, you might be able to help, you got a number for @skytv?

  • nptweetings Dan Ludlow (@nptweetings) reported

@pipmadeley If you re-contract, rather than just continuing past your current one, the price increase is less steep. But, as you're not getting a good broadband service, I can't fault you wanting to switch supplier. Is Virgin media available in your area (if the phone line is buggered)?
