@virginmedia Still on the phone. Just found out the eng that was supposed to come today to fixed the frayed cables outside was a no show. Also all my smart lights have stopped working meaning the local network (not broadband) has gone down. Finally you’ve agreed to issue a deadlock letter.

@virginmedia I really don’t know how you can morally charge for the pitiful service you provide. You have the most consistently unreliable download speeds I have ever come across.

@virginmedia So it looks like the router resetting was the start of a bigger issue. Router appears to be having issues again. Your diag service thinks the router is switched off but it certainly isn’t.

@virginmedia We have been experiencing issues with our hub. We often lose connection and then the connection is not very strong at all when connected. This has been happening for a couple of weeks. Please advise further.

-
Liz Barrett
(@SilksAndTheCity) reported
@virginmedia Thanks - your service status page isn't massively helpful. Fix date keeps moving later, and your update service does not work. It'd be useful to know what the issue was and whether this is likely to be fixed quickly so I can plan accordingly. Do pay quite a large sum every month!

Hi @virginmedia. My broadband and TV have been down for most of the week. Current fix has moved to tomorrow at 12:00 - but I'm not getting updates despite registering. Can you give me more details on the area-wide issue and fix please? Internet has become an essential for WFH etc

@virginmedia I had an engineer out as I don’t get any WiFi signal upstairs since joining virgin. He confirmed I need extender pods (free of charge) as I don’t get signal, told me to call the faults team. I did they want £8 a month?? Your T and Cs say if you don’t get WiFi you get pods

@virginmedia Hi there, sadly this didn’t last as I have not had a single night’s worth of WiFi since upgrading my contract. 8pm every evening it just does not work. Please can you help me resolve this? I’m simply paying for a service that I’m not getting and high traffic is not an excuse.

@Danny_Blackburn @virginmedia It is. Don't think it's them though. Something going nuts on my internal network. Interfering with traffic and DHCP. Have unplugged everything and slowly building it back up.
