@virginmedia @virginhelp I've never had this much issue as I have had today. I'm plugged in on ethernet, I've reset my hub, and checked my area and there is no issue at all. My WiFi is working from my hub but yet its booting me out of Destiny 2 and not just that but the chat parties on PS5 itself

@virginmedia Both wired and wireless. We've had 8 engineers out, a rewire, new hub and still endless drop outs. Was told finally it was an upload issue from the amp that supplied the box on the street. But still we're having issues. The 150 number is joke, make it simple!!!

  • TimmyJ1972
Tim Jackson (@TimmyJ1972) reported from Garston, England

@virginmedia To be honest, the issue is an intermittent fault. My wife works from home and the broadband just drops out numerous times a day. Then comes back on. It’s only worthwhile doing a remote test if it’s when it drops out. Otherwise all will look fine

  • realjackoh187
Jack Kelly (@realjackoh187) reported from Widnes, England

@virginmedia another broadband outage in North Manchester?? At what point are we legally allowed to leave contract due to the amount of issues? Please advise

  • viewfromhk
    Robby Yung ⦿⦿⦿ (@viewfromhk) reported

@0xsachi I think "moat" is just a polite way of saying monopoly. First mover advantage builds a brand and customer stickiness, and I think this should be the goal, personally. But all these anti-competitive practices like making cancelling services ridiculously hard (hello @virginmedia ) or walling the garden once you get enough users (hello @facebook Open Graph) should be cracked down on, in my opinion.

  • weyland76
    m a t t (@weyland76) reported

.@virginmedia my TV box will not record anything. Every recording says "recording failed due to a technical issue" but I have no idea what that issue is?

Is @virginmedia in trouble?, as im trying to work out why i need 2 to 3 sales calls a day. I get a rubbish email once a week. Why not email something i might be interested in rather than constant phone calls im sure i never consented too.

@virginmedia maybe have the thickest staff known to man, my dad has issues from there end accessing his emails. They can send a complaint acknowledgment to his email he can’t access. May as well say you can’t be arsed to do your jobs! #clowns

  • Javier_Cold_
    Mr. Cold (@Javier_Cold_) reported

@Ofcom @virginmedia sucks. 2 hours going in circles to cancel my package. They get away with it by exhausting you, going around and around, stalling the conversation until you say yes.

  • WraggyTheGamer
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (@WraggyTheGamer) reported

@virginmedia reliability has dramatically dropped recently. In the 8 years of being with them we have never had any outages at all, However, the last 3 month, it's pretty much going down every single day I think I need to look at other internet providers

  • srmills90
    Steven Mills (@srmills90) reported

@elissetennis I’ll try again tomorrow. I’ve had problems trying to watch streams through Amazon Prime via TNT/HBO with my provider (Virgin Media.) It shouldn’t be this confusing! And I can’t even seem to sign up for TNT Sports through the app to watch on my smartphone anymore!
