    @virginmedia Hi, done a few tests and reset router etc and it’s still the same. Speed drops on Ethernet and wireless. It’s very intermittent though. It can be fine for a couple of hours and then have a few minutes of really slow speeds.

    @virginmedia Ah so now you’ve acknowledged there’s an issue in the area with a fix ETA of nearly 3am. So no broadband all evening. This happened last week too. This isn’t acceptable service levels.

    @virginmedia And another issue. Must be that time of the year when I seem to have numerous problems in a short time span. Now it’s saying incorrect password when trying to join the WiFi network (password hasn’t changed), or it’ll say there’s a connection problem to internet and a red button.

    @virginmedia 5 sets of staff been to my property now (my broadband install date is today). 30 mins waiting on the phone and still no resolution. Now my pavements being dug up! I’ve lost faith already 🙈

    @virginmedia well come home from working away on Friday with a lot of emails to reply to. To discover my router is broken wife phoned up Friday afternoon customer service said they would send one out by Monday shocking service I’m out of contract so will look elsewhere 😡😡😡

    @virginmedia That’s not the point, I don’t want credit. I want a reliable service. And this isn’t reliable. My 4G service on my phone is more reliable than my home broadband. That’s not good.

    @virginmedia I don’t have a landline or a Virgin phone, I don’t want to rack up a huge phonebill calling you to sort out an issue on your side. I’ve now performed a factory reset and still not working. So I’ve ran the broadband test from my Virgin Media page and it says the equipment is off.

    @virginmedia It’s for mine and my daughters mobile. Been going on now for 2 days. Can’t make or receive calls. Been into Virgin store today and they gave me a new sim. But couldn’t help with checking to see if there were issues in my area.

    @bigevilboss @virginmedia I often encounter people who actively use the WiFi modem from their provider and then moan when it doesn’t work properly. Never use your provider’s WiFi, they are universally bad. Replace it with a dedicated router that has just one job. I speak as someone who has a mesh :)

    @virginmedia I’m confused about the amount I owe for a broadband package I only had for one month on a rolling contract. I made sure to cancel on time and was assured there would be no extra charges, however I have been billed on three separate occasions. Can you help with this?

    @virginmedia you are an absolute disgrace! Student daughter called to cancel contract on Saturday, was in effect lied to. Your so called customer service advisor just keeps repeating a script…and apparently I can’t speak with anyone more senior!

    @virginmedia Honestly, you have to wonder if virgin media know anything about consumer law. They think they are above following the law. With a response like that no wonder your customer service is one of the worst performing out there. But do you care ... no.

    @virginmedia Yes, which is @YodelOnline . But it is also the sender's responsibility to ensure it reaches the customers. Not the customer's responsibility to chase virgin media's suppliers. As @YodelOnline have confirmed, they cannot release any information to me as I'm not the sender.
