Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Warrington, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Warrington and nearby locations:

  • _AdamGardiner Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia Will they help if the Wi-Fi is working at the time I call? Because my issue is that when it is working, your advisors consider their work done despite telling them that it usually doesn’t last. And invariable, it doesn’t.

  • JohnMurphy9172 murf (@JohnMurphy9172) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia Just managed to get hold of someone, and apparently after over 10 years of no problems I now need WiFi boosters at an extra cost to myself all of a sudden, they couldn't tell me why just trying to squeeze more money out of me

  • _AdamGardiner Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia It’s everything connected via Wi-Fi. I don’t have the connect app. I check for service status on your website and it usually says there isn’t an issue, but that doesn’t reflect my service.

  • Gary_Kilroy Gary Kilroy (@Gary_Kilroy) reported from Liverpool, England

Having the choice of the awful customer service of @virginmedia or the @bt_uk network which in my area might as well be two tin cans tied together with string is great!

  • John_Kelly17 John Kelly (@John_Kelly17) reported from St Helens, England

@CruisingTheCut I’ve had very few issues with virgin media - depends if you need TV though. Otherwise I’ve heard very good things about over the air using the three network or EE.

  • _AdamGardiner Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia I have phoned you at least 10 times this week. I’ve had a visit from a technician. My Wi-Fi still doesn’t work. I rang up AGAIN in the last half an hour, after waiting for 30 mins to speak to someone, they said they had ‘system issues’ and hung up on me. (1/3)

  • martinmoscrop Martin Moscrop 🎺 (@martinmoscrop) reported from Salford, England

@LennieThevan @virginmedia That sounds terrible Lennie. If you want to change a plan and save money they go out of their way to be unhelpful. However, if you want to spend more their customers service Is better.

  • _AdamGardiner Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia It works intermittently. When I speak to an advisor they fix the issue at that moment. Then, the next day it’ll cut out again and the process repeats. It was working when the engineer left, but it didn’t last 24 hours. Intermittent isn’t good enough. I rely on you for work.

  • BootleFCBucks Bootle Bucks (@BootleFCBucks) reported from Liverpool, England

@JamesSymes8 Virgin Media. It keeps going really bad.

  • _AdamGardiner Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia I was also promised a call back from a manager within 24 hours on a phone call on Friday afternoon. I did not receive this phone call. This is absolutely disgusting and I expect something to be done. I rely on your service for my income as I work from home. (2/3)

  • realjackoh187 Jack Kelly (@realjackoh187) reported from Widnes, England

@virginmedia Just wifi, the phones tablets tv all just going off randomly. I have now booked a technician but I have been doing the troubleshooting for 2 days and its saying the issue is being fixed. Its only today they have said to send a technician

  • SandyLindsay Sandy Lindsay MBE 🐝 (@SandyLindsay) reported from Sale, England

Have @virginmedia gone down in South Manchester??? Been kicked off the wifi!

  • SmithysMaud Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia It’s to our address, we need a full repull and was told it would be done within 48hrs. This issue has been going on for months, they were just telling me to reboot the hub.

  • SmithysMaud Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia are an absolute joke. Was told to call back at half 6 and guess what? They’re shut! And again, no engineer visit. Getting cancelled 1st thing in the morning. Over a month of total loss of service, piss take. #avoid

  • realjackoh187 Jack Kelly (@realjackoh187) reported from Widnes, England

@virginmedia I'm checking online and it's saying there is an issue with the TV, but saying broadband is fine. I've had constant disconnections throughout the day for 2 weeks now. It works for a few minutes then goes off. What is going on?

  • michaelclark09 Michael Clark (@michaelclark09) reported from Sale, England

@Shredda @virginmedia Oh damn, that's peak. Might just be a coincidence then 🤔

  • SimpaticoGem Gemma ≅ (@SimpaticoGem) reported from Walkden, England

Tell me why with my @virginmedia wifi and my @O2 phone contract, MY WIFI CUTS OUT CONSTANTLY AND I HAVE NO SIGNAL ANYWHERE I GO?! Thought being a customer of you both was supposed to reap massive benefits for me?

  • SimpaticoGem Gemma ≅ (@SimpaticoGem) reported from Walkden, England

Tell me why with my @virginmedia wifi and my @O2 phone contract, MY WIFI CUTS OUT CONSTANTLY AND I HAVE NO SOGNAL ANYWHERE I GO?! Thought being a customer of you both was supposed to reap massive benefits for me?

  • _AdamGardiner Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia You’re not understanding. I do contact when the issue is happening, your advisor then fixes it, but it then happens again within 24 hours. I need a ‘once and for all’ fix. Not this whack a mole approach you’ve had so far.

  • ZachcloseYT zach close YT 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 (@ZachcloseYT) reported from St Helens, England

    @virginmedia your Internet sucks

@virginmedia now into day 4 of the great virgin broadband SW19 outage. No internets as far as the eye can see, just patchy mobile data. But at least I'm still paying for the privilege.

  • RupalSutar Rupal Sutar (@RupalSutar) reported

@virginmedia my internet has been out since last night. I've tried all the troubleshooting suggestions but still no luck. Please help. I need the internet urgently today.

  • Ghost_A316 Ghost (@Ghost_A316) reported

@virginmedia Yeah it’s now updated. Thank you, sorry if I was off with you it’s very frustrating when we have one working from home relying on your service and having to take a day off due to the issues which is resulting in loss of pay

  • ryanbhambra67 Ryan Bhambra (@ryanbhambra67) reported

@virginmedia Called virgin to book for a phone socket to be moved 5ft, told it’s £99. Outrage as I was a paying client ( bt don’t charge). Put thorough to another dept, put the phone down, called again, explained again, i wanted to leave, was told to bugger off at the end.

  • MissS__NQT Miss S (@MissS__NQT) reported

@virginmedia The service status has not shown any issues in my area and the Internet speeds have been getting progressively worse for a number of weeks now unfortunately.

  • TheGreenDevil20 The Green Devil ⏱ (@TheGreenDevil20) reported

  • joseletemuniz Jose Muñiz (@joseletemuniz) reported

@virginmedia @CherylHoleQueen Of course your service is a disgrace. This is what you spend your time and resources on.

  • Ghost_A316 Ghost (@Ghost_A316) reported

@virginmedia It’s not that but speaking to the neighbours this morning they are having the same issues however your saying their is no fault in the area but clearly their is… not being funny but you should be sending someone out to the area when their is an issue

  • dannyvalzTTV Danny V (@dannyvalzTTV) reported

@virginmedia I'm happy to do that. Is there a direct dial for second/third line support? I've dealt with first line too many times and done all the usual troubleshooting steps.
