@virginmedia Yes I know! They are doing essential works but you say broadband outage and you get data on your phone. That is a breach of trading standards as apparently you don’t do that

@virginmedia Planned work which is fine but the advert in writing and on the tv makes it sound good that you get data on your Virgin mobile if your broadband ever goes down. Just finding the contact for trading standards

@virginmedia The team have booked an engineer but advised changes on router settings that have made it a bit better until the engineer can fix it properly

@virginmedia offer volt speeds of 350 paying for 200 getting 60ish it’s ridiculous I’ve spent hours sending them proof when jitter high they think resetting it all and spending more hours getting everything back up will work and I don’t it’s only been this bad this time since

@virginmedia It's worst on 601 BBC News where either part or all of the screen pixilates. But it happens on other channels to a lesser degree.

@virginmedia He swapped out the router said that solved a bit of the issue but speeds still not as expected then said he would have to book a longer appointment to figure out the issue so he went. Waiting for another appointment

@virginmedia Every time it fails I have never been asked to do a reset. The last time they checked their system and sent an engineer who put attenuation on it as the jitter was high and the system showed a fault their end

@virginmedia are useless fixing an area so they break your broadband then get you to do lots of useless tests that show the same thing then ask for a reset that will not fix anything

@virginmedia I need to make a complaint and submit my bill for time wasted with tests that show me what I already know….it’s faulty and has been on and off for a long time and each fix doesn’t fix it

@virginmedia It's saying that there does not seem to be any issues. This still does not explain having no service yesterday and the fact that the service is forever dropping day after day after day.

@virginmedia You couldn’t help over the phone and don’t understand why a sim provided as part of “a deal” couldn’t be cancelled directly through you when I didn’t sign a separate contract with o2

@virginmedia Yes I call daily and get the same answers. Openreach caused the issue externally, notified virgin immediately and that’s as the 18th of November. Appointments come and go - and as they are “external” I don’t get compensation for when they don’t show up. Very cheeky: “external”
