@virginmedia I reported a total loss of service on 31/8. It was finally fixed this morning. After no shows, lies and weeks between visits. They have not even offered to cover the cost of my last 3 dd’s which I wish I hadn’t paid as I had no service whatsoever

  • SmithysMaud
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia can someone help me please? I’m about to lose my ****. Never ever known anything like this company. Now telling me lies on WhatsApp. Saying i logged an issue weeks after engineers had already been out to find the fault. Refusing compensation after 4 mths no service.

  • sodiumlights
    Sodium (@sodiumlights) reported

So, my @virginmedia hub died on Thursday. Finally worked out how to call them yesterday. Today a guy comes out to fix it but can't. Just got a message saying they'll be here on TUESDAY. Until then, no internet or TV. And no changes to the heating. Or the cat flap...

  • j_henderson__
    JHenderson (@j_henderson__) reported

@virginmedia since 9.15pm yesterday we’ve been without tv & internet, now they’ve just text saying 2pm tomorrow to be fixed. Nearly 2 days to fix an issue is disgraceful customer service. Again we’ll be looking to switch to Sky or BT. Virgin Media are useless.

  • swlondonraised
    cari_lou (@swlondonraised) reported

@virginmedia Yes it was working then just cut out again this is a joke

  • RockerSBM
    Shaun (@RockerSBM) reported

@virginmedia Hi guys I decided to go back with you guys after 2 yearsafter I was with you for 16 years before that but I've had problems after problems the rep guy sold me that the connection was 2gig down and up to! It's not even sent the contract to the wrong email.

  • MakelyStudio
    Ali@Makely (@MakelyStudio) reported

10 years. 50M+ users. £11M+ revenue impact. Mercedes. Citibank. Sky. Virgin Media. NatWest. I spent a decade fixing conversion problems at some of the world's most recognised brands. what I learned: the same broken patterns show up everywhere - onboarding that loses people in the first 60 seconds, pricing pages that confuse instead of convert, signup flows with friction nobody ever fixed. Now I build the same systems for funded startups.

  • IanLewis299
    Ian Lewis (@IanLewis299) reported

@virginmedia Are your call centre staff incentivised to handle complaints? I've just had someone raise a complaint and resolve it, despite me telling them explicitly I did not want a complaint resolved. Seems sketchy.

  • oisoli
    Soli (@oisoli) reported

@virginmedia we are getting no internet and the app says it’s our kits connection but that is all good and still won’t work after following your steps? Any help or updates?

  • adrianatkins196
    adrian adrian (@adrianatkins196) reported

@BBCTomEdwards @virginmedia London at its best a transport network that dont want customers.

  • IanLewis299
    Ian Lewis (@IanLewis299) reported

@virginmedia Sorry, I've worded that badly. I meant I didn't even want to raise a complaint. I told them not to raise it, and they have done anyway, and resolved it. They also told me not to fill in the survey as my issue (not a complaint!) isn't yet resolved so it wouldn't look bad on them!

  • JohnOBrennan2
    John O’Brennan (@JohnOBrennan2) reported

@wattzez @ConorGallaghe_r @IrishTimes That is completely untrue. I was on Virgin Media TV Tuesday talking about the issue. Just before that programme RTE’s Prime Time did a segment. It is being very widely discussed.
