Day 42 of no service from @virginmedia. Engineer meant to be coming again today, think I’ve more chance of a unicorn showing up to be fair. 🦄

  • Gary_Kilroy
Gary Kilroy (@Gary_Kilroy) reported from Liverpool, England

Having the choice of the awful customer service of @virginmedia or the @bt_uk network which in my area might as well be two tin cans tied together with string is great!

  • laineypb2109
Elaine Brown (@laineypb2109) reported from Birkenhead, England

@virginmedia 15% increase, don't think so mate. I'll be in touch via phone shortly with a cancellation notice. So much for long serving customer loyalty

  • 92Tevs
Thomas Evans (@92Tevs) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia do you want the prize for the shittiest broadband ever or would you like to fix my internet service?

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia I looked and that says it’s from the day I registered the total loss of service which was yesterday but really it should be from Friday afternoon when I did the online chat. If I DM you can you check?

  • 1AnneMcCormack
Anne McCormack (@1AnneMcCormack) reported from Billinge Chapel End, England

@virginmedia I tell them to ring 999 or 0151 709 6010 if they want to report a crime. They hang up but they sound South Asian and their English is poor. I worry about other oaps being conned. Good luck chasing them.

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia See thread above, nothing changes except the time of the estimated fix. It must be very localised as not everyone in my area is affected. So if it is damaged cables, I haven’t seen anyone out repairing them over the weekend, it’s a joke

  • elisabethhilto4
Elisabeth Hilton (@elisabethhilto4) reported from Lowton, England

@virginmedia Trying to make a complaint - signed up to a deal I clearly asked not to be. Your website doesn’t work and can’t get through on the phone. Can someone please dm me with a way to speak to someone urgently

  • DoctorRood
DRood 🏳️‍🌈🎗 (@DoctorRood) reported from Chester, England

@virginmedia I never expected any engineer, because I'm aware it's an outage that affects a lot of people. But your CS responses could be a lot better.

  • Parleyyyyyy
Josh (@Parleyyyyyy) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia I’ve just done that. If you watch the video though you’ll see it doesn’t even let me get to the login page. As soon as I click on virgin media customer it tries to take me to a website & then closes down

  • SmithysMaud
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia 38 days after the repull should’ve been done? You think that’s good customer service?

  • SmithysMaud
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia It’s to our address, we need a full repull and was told it would be done within 48hrs. This issue has been going on for months, they were just telling me to reboot the hub.

  • SmithysMaud
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia Nobody can help me, they just keep asking for patience. They’ve had since august to fix it. It’s unacceptable.

  • ChrisWAzure
Chris Wright (@ChrisWAzure) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia The guy was the most arrogant person I've ever spoke to in CS, retentions is meant to be the end of the line, if it was my service and not my wife's 93 year old nan i'd have cancelled the contract. I asked to speak to a manager and was told "managers don't speak to customers"....

  • SmithysMaud
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia are an absolute joke. Was told to call back at half 6 and guess what? They’re shut! And again, no engineer visit. Getting cancelled 1st thing in the morning. Over a month of total loss of service, piss take. #avoid

  • supergran22
Maureen StewartJones (@supergran22) reported from Eccleston, England

@VirginMedia Received message. Now not accepting my email address. I have one only. My problem is with the remote control which is activated by pressing 2 buttons when they light up. Have had nothing but trouble with one remote for one TV. Your communication us not helpful.

  • GaryBan47314801
Gary Banks (@GaryBan47314801) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia This is not the first time. The service the last 12 months has been shocking And now you're asking for the over the top increase in monthly payments 😡😡😡

  • Robertlfc_
Rob (@Robertlfc_) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia is honestly the worst company for WiFi

  • RayWaring
Ray Waring (@RayWaring) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia Sorry I really don’t get it. A few hours ago I was told that your team would investigate etc. Now you’re telling you don’t have any access so I’m left to hang on with no one from VM being able to update me. Is that it?

  • tomrushton88
Tom Rushton (@tomrushton88) reported from Haydock, England

@virginmedia Don't use this company its disgusting and disappointing the way they treat customers. Been trying to sort my contract out for 3 months now while they rob my money, create contracts that I've not agreed to and cancel complaints that I've raised.

@virginmedia And it’s gone down. Again. Are you actually kidding me. What is this lunch time and virgin stops supplying broadband. How hard is this. Get it sorted. I’ve done all the trouble shooting and I’ve paid my bills. Jesus wept. I pay enough. Sort it out.

If anyone’s @virginmedia red button plus channels aren’t working for the football the best thing to do is login to the sky sports app/website. Click login with virgin media. Once logged in you can watch the games. 👌🏼 #virginmedia #skysports

@virginmedia How does this help when u want to watch on tv ????

  • colonbarbarian
    Captain Howdy (@colonbarbarian) reported

@denchaser @virginmedia I love my VM broadband, but dealing with their "customer service" team is like banging head against a brick wall. I just renewed my contract, still being charged twice as much as a new customer. Offered me £55 a month then went up to £59 as soon as I went to accept it.
