  • CharlieIDIC IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England

@virginmedia The team have booked an engineer but advised changes on router settings that have made it a bit better until the engineer can fix it properly

  • CharlieIDIC IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England

@virginmedia He swapped out the router said that solved a bit of the issue but speeds still not as expected then said he would have to book a longer appointment to figure out the issue so he went. Waiting for another appointment

  • CharlieIDIC IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England

@virginmedia I already spent ages on the phone on Friday when I needed internet but you were doing essential works. I study, work and have a young daughter I don’t have time for long phone calls for a service that should work.

  • CharlieIDIC IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England

@virginmedia offer volt speeds of 350 paying for 200 getting 60ish it’s ridiculous I’ve spent hours sending them proof when jitter high they think resetting it all and spending more hours getting everything back up will work and I don’t it’s only been this bad this time since

  • CharlieIDIC IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England

@virginmedia Every time it fails I have never been asked to do a reset. The last time they checked their system and sent an engineer who put attenuation on it as the jitter was high and the system showed a fault their end

  • CharlieIDIC IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England

@virginmedia just found out as I’m an oomph customer on volt I should get broadband of 350 but getting 53 jitter is beyond a joke too. What happened?

  • CharlieIDIC IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England

@virginmedia I don’t want to talk to an Indian call centre going off a script I want a reasonable human who doesn’t work from a script and can help me

  • Krys_yogi Ada Yoga🧘🏾‍♀️ (@Krys_yogi) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia you guys are really ***************. What's with the network outage?? Please fix this!

  • CharlieIDIC IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England

@virginmedia I need to make a complaint and submit my bill for time wasted with tests that show me what I already know….it’s faulty and has been on and off for a long time and each fix doesn’t fix it

  • CharlieIDIC IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England

@virginmedia can you remind me the link for customer complaints please. Engineer lied, lost working time now still not right and I refuse to keep paying when I’m not getting a steady working internet let alone at the volt speeds as advertised

  • alandean1878 Alan Dean (@alandean1878) reported from Roby, England

@virginmedia Still a problem. Programmes we recorded Thurs & Friday are unwatchable (& not available on Catch Up for some reason)

  • supergran22 Maureen StewartJones (@supergran22) reported from Eccleston, England

@virginmedia Connection problem with Apps. Phone & told to give no. underneath box. Difficult 2 bend down, hold box & phone. How can there b a problem when the TV in other room is working? Sick of having a text to do it myself or ask 4 tech help from someone who can't help.

  • AndyDaley Andy Daley (@AndyDaley) reported from Roby, England

@eddie_corrigan @virginmedia Is it skipper? It's absolutely garbage. Thank god its only twice a year

  • supergran22 Maureen StewartJones (@supergran22) reported from Eccleston, England

@virginmedia @primevideosport told me my TV not connected to Internet which it is. Was working and then wasn't. Now working but really sick of reoccurring problems when my @primevideosport goes off & told it's an Internet problem. If Internet problem wouldn't I lose everything?

  • Phil_Donoghue1 Phil Donoghue (@Phil_Donoghue1) reported from Leigh, England

@virginmedia Shameful… latest update, we hope to resolve the issue by 4pm tomorrow! That’ll be over 24 hours down and you’ll still expect your money! Awesome service 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

  • Krys_yogi Ada Yoga🧘🏾‍♀️ (@Krys_yogi) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia Just seen an update that there's an issue in the area. How long is this gon take to fix? Some of us have work and need to be online. This is rather frustrating

  • Phil_Donoghue1 Phil Donoghue (@Phil_Donoghue1) reported from Leigh, England

@virginmedia you literally must be THE most unreliable failing ISP in all the land… Yet another outage which you laughably call “improving our network” and you’ve never provided even half the speed we pay for. About time OFCOM held this company to book!

  • CharlieIDIC IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England

@virginmedia are useless fixing an area so they break your broadband then get you to do lots of useless tests that show the same thing then ask for a reset that will not fix anything

  • CharlieIDIC IDIC (@CharlieIDIC) reported from Kirkby, England

@virginmedia Looks like your engineer told me he would book a follow up appointment then didn’t bother. Your customer service lately and ability to provide a service are very lacking

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • CarolineVillier Caroline Villiers (@CarolineVillier) reported

@virginmedia I always explained to your representative that it was due to the service, not the price. Unfortunately, previously there was never any response when the broadband went down and I attempted to contact you.

  • nofksgiven81 The man (@nofksgiven81) reported

@ham4tw @virginmedia I just switched to bt, I’m zone 4, so far so good, after my awful experience with Virgin, the most important thing for me now is the customer service, I couldn’t stand speaking to someone over and over who doesn’t speak English

  • graveneycl Adrian Mack 💙 (@graveneycl) reported

@virginmedia Still the same - I can get the complaint bot but not a specific webchat

  • Kelz_dc_cfc Kelz (@Kelz_dc_cfc) reported

@virginmedia I'll write a complaint to your company when I get the chance. Last year it took 6 months to get billing sorted. This year I've already contacted on 2 months this will now be 3rd so it's getting stupid.

  • itsezc Chiru (@itsezc) reported

@virginmedia Yes, they've cancelled and arranged for a disconnection. I was expected to have my VM router delivered tomorrow, but not sure that'll be possible now and I'll be without Wifi indefinitely until my issues resolved.

  • drewsterB Drew Bell (@drewsterB) reported

@virginmedia how do I get help with a Virgin media email account that is “not Available at the moment “ and has been like that for 48 hours? Website just sends me round in circles.

  • graveneycl Adrian Mack 💙 (@graveneycl) reported

@virginmedia No I have tried this on two chrome profiles. As I say I can get pop ups for feedback and the complaint chat but nothing relating to the link supplied. Need to get back to work unless you have another option. Or I can send you a google meet link as a DM.

  • graveneycl Adrian Mack 💙 (@graveneycl) reported

@virginmedia But of course that is the exact reason we are having this exchange. On the last call the agent kept changing the rules, denying that I was entitled to compensation, claiming that I had to call to register the loss of service when the website says differently and so on...

  • retro1Rob Rob (@retro1Rob) reported

@virginmedia Hi, I had an engineer booked for tommorow as having issues with hub. You sent a message saying this has been cancelled as issue has been resolved. The issue has not been resolved, I cannot get through on your helpline. I want my engineer booked back in tomorrow

  • mikejhemsley mike (@mikejhemsley) reported

@virginmedia The hotspots in the link are different mobile providers. Are you advising me to change my mobile phone contract? If not, please do let me know how I'm supposed to access another company's TfL wifi service.
