@virginmedia I looked and that says it’s from the day I registered the total loss of service which was yesterday but really it should be from Friday afternoon when I did the online chat. If I DM you can you check?

@virginmedia I first informed Virgin Media that my internet was down via online chat on Friday afternoon. Will this have automatically been the time when my loss of service was registered as at the time the advisor said it would be fixed in 24 hours?

@virginmedia Visit was fine replaced wifi. I was never out of Internet completely like it says only your compensation page, but it was equally as bad since my step daughter had online training to do which couldn't be done at all. My children also were not able to do homework.

@virginmedia my internet has been down since Friday afternoon. I was told it would be fixed in 24 hours, the time has since changed and is currently at 8pm this evening. I work from home so need my internet back up and running before Monday morning. This is disgraceful

@virginmedia See thread above, nothing changes except the time of the estimated fix. It must be very localised as not everyone in my area is affected. So if it is damaged cables, I haven’t seen anyone out repairing them over the weekend, it’s a joke

@virginmedia Just wifi, the phones tablets tv all just going off randomly. I have now booked a technician but I have been doing the troubleshooting for 2 days and its saying the issue is being fixed. Its only today they have said to send a technician

@gin_leighton @virginmedia My dad had an old Sky router and the signal wasn’t all that great. To be fair, that’s partly the shape of the house. We hoped Virgin’s router would be stronger but we had to install range extenders anyway. But they call a loose trailing wire in the front garden an “installation!”

Too lazy to do the job, then tell you they’ll come back the next day, but you never see them. So the bloke that came to set up today couldn’t do it. His managers didn’t even answer his calls!

If you’re moving phone, broadband or TV, then don’t be tempted by @virginmedia. Their installation teams are full of liars. And their promises of a manager calling you back are just as fake, leaving you in a long queue just to cancel the whole damn order. Absolute charlatans.

@virginmedia Having issues with the picture on Virgin TV, keeps breaking up like losing signal, tried everything that has been advised & called 5 times in 4 weeks to have it reset & it reverts to breaking up. This is on behalf of my grandad who is an OAP. He can't isolate without a working TV
