@virginmedia 15% increase, don't think so mate. I'll be in touch via phone shortly with a cancellation notice. So much for long serving customer loyalty

@virginmedia I have a booster. It was sent to me last Spring because of previous problems with TV in this room.

@virginmedia Thanks. Very frustrating and time consuming. Spent whole afternoon trying to sort it. Twitter not really the best way to resolve issues especially with an 82 year old.

@les_murray71 @virginmedia Still saying 12.05 on the app Lesley .... have they put that new estimated fix time out elsewhere? 😱

@virginmedia Hi, will this continued investment mean finally getting signal in my area? It’s a central area and the signal is awful. Thanks

@BlaggerBly @virginmedia Seems to be Wirral wide at least, and I think Liverpool is affected too. VM should be massively compensating their affected customers for this, but they hide behind their terms and conditions where they only deem it reasonable to compensate if the outage last more than 3 days!

@virginmedia To be honest, the issue is an intermittent fault. My wife works from home and the broadband just drops out numerous times a day. Then comes back on. It’s only worthwhile doing a remote test if it’s when it drops out. Otherwise all will look fine

@virginmedia I’d love to hear from how I’m supposed to report an issue with my broadband. You can’t do it via live chat and seemingly not via the phone either as you’re “experiencing difficulties”

@virginmedia No I’m not an idiot it was during covid I’ll go back and find it . The chief execs office rang me personally as I’m disabled

@virginmedia I'm not sure this is the 3rd box. It's the one with the router in same room. Re advice remotely got message saying problem could not be solved.

@virginmedia No. Can’t get through. I’ve just submitted a complaint
-

@virginmedia There's no point raising a complaint is there, as you won't comprnsate? Other reputable oroviders offer a back-up 4 or 5g device to kick in if their main broadband goes down, to keep the service running. Not VM though - it's just all really poor customer service innit?
-
Martin Travis

@virginmedia Okay, but with respect, the problem is your call centre say different stuff every time, which inevitably bears no resemblance to reality. Later, VM deny those conversations ever took place and there is no written evidence to back up what was agreed. That's what I am after here?

@virginmedia I think so yes there's definitely a issue of some description as it keeps happening all the time

@virginmedia I have been without broadband all day, a day after you sent me a letter about price increases, an increase for what, even poorer service!!!!

Even when @virginmedia are wrong they just wear you down with incompetency that you end up paying just to make it end. Great work guys.
-
Emma Webb

@virginmedia @MaxAnth24400982 No service updates. Says everything is fine, when it clearly is not working at all. All avenues to fix it have been explored our end. This is really unacceptable.
-
MeddazzaDuranie

@virginmedia I’m trying now - this is appalling service for a new customer. I’m tempted to cancel and go with a different provider if you can’t even deliver my hub when requested
-
carl

@virginmedia your phone lines are busy. You chat says your too busy and too phone up in a circle of wasting my time. Your webpage complaint system deleted my complaint. All I want to do now is quit and try a company that might not be so terrible.

just had a thrilling live webchat with @virginmedia and they told me that this ongoing problem with signal to noise is MAGICALLY going to be fixed TODAY! what are the chances?!?!?! they then signed off and I can't ask them any more questions. you guys are actual clowns

@virginmedia Well can you help or not?? This isn’t good enough - I selected sat 29th for delivery, got an email apology that it was moved to today and now I’ve had no information. So what do i do??
-
John Wilmans Photography
(@Johnwilmans) reported
@virginmedia I have been. 2 letters. And 2 lots of 45 minute + phone calls to your service centre. No help what so ever. I’ll just pay the money I don’t owe you to make it all stop. So I’m basically paying for 12 months + of crap service and the incompetence of you not reading your mail.
-
David Byatt
(@davidbyatt) reported
@virginmedia Nope. Just tells there is a problem and to check back in 24 hours!!!! But this has been going on for months. Had nothing but an unreliable service from virgin since I opened my account in 2018! It’s shocking. But no other providers in our area for fibre. So stuck with jt.
