    Nearly a week after signing up to a new contract with @virginmedia they’ve still not upgraded my speed to what we agreed to. Their Twitter support refuses to acknowledge the issue and my complaint hasn’t been picked up yet. I guess they don’t care once a contract is agreed.

    Not just me then? Twitter tells me everything I need to know @virginmedia your broadband is unreliable, has been unreliable for weeks & I feel like i’m wasting money. No this isn’t an isolated issue you just need to pull your finger out & stop ruining my evenings its 2020 ffs!

    @virginmedia I get the same result hard wired with Ethernet too. It’s not a wifi issue. Also I’m not sure how wifi would decide to ignore an increase in speed and decide to limit itself to the old speed coincidentally. Someone on your end hasn’t enabled the faster speed to my property.

    @AidyDews @ALANMYERSMEDIA @virginmedia That’s exactly what happened to me. Upgraded to 500mg and the speed/coverage got worse. They ended up giving me 1 Gig for the price of 500mg & a hub4 because they couldn’t fix it. Took me about 10 hours & years off my life to sort out. Nightmare.

    @virginmedia why is your internet so rubbish? We get a bit of rain and wind and the whole TV goes off with no connectivity its woeful. We have sat here for a few hours now with no tv at all and were paying £49 a month for wifi that doesnt work!!!

    Need to cancel my @virginmedia contract as the price is going up but the only way to cancel is by phone, with up to an hour queue time. Brilliant.

    @ALANMYERSMEDIA @virginmedia Absolutely incompetent. Takes an hour to speak to someone, they then tell you you’re through to the wrong dept and pass you back in the queue. Took me 2 months to sort my internet out recently. Awful service.

    @virginmedia The text messaging team that says it aims to respond within 4 hours but hasn’t responded to me since 11am yesterday? Basically I have no option now but to sit on hold in a queue for 30+ mins to fix a problem you’ve created by not upgrading me. Your customer service is awful.

    @virginmedia There’s no known issues. I shouldn’t have to spend 30 mins on hold trying to get through to you to have an issue corrected that hasn’t been done as part of my contract agreement. Shouldn’t you be able to call customers when you have an agent free who can make outgoing calls?

    @SkyHelpTeam We haven’t been booked in. Following some quick and informative enquiries, @virginmedia can install a new service in 3days; yet, a @SkyUK engineer can’t come out to us for over a week? When we pay a monthly small fortune, this all feels like terrible customer service

    @virginmedia Hi @virginmedia I already called 0345454111 option 1, 2 then 4 and waited for more than 1h and you hung up on me several times. At the moment I've been waiting for more than 3 hours in the 07533051809 @WhatsApp chat and it's just a bot. Terrible!

    @virginmedia You owe us about £50 now, and we keep counting. We tried to call (was on the phone for two 2hours, was connected to literally every person in the bloody building and then just disconnected, this happened multiple times and you never called back)

    @virginmedia HONEST TO GOD!!! You guys have by far the WORST service there is. Since 1 1/2 months we are trying to switch our WIFI to our new property and you are just blood INCAPABLE!!! However, you are happy to just take our money, for a service we cannot use.

    @virginmedia Nothing so not bothered anymore, I’m very disappointed to say the least , had the same issue last time so went through all the stress and confirm tge cancellation only 2 days later received a call explaining how valuable I am

    @virginmedia We need to discuss your poor retention offers for existing (indeed, longstanding) Virgin customers -- but how can we if we can't get thru on the phone? My partner has tried your website but evidently that's malfunctioning too.
