@virginmedia I only worked as a network Ops mgr for nearly 10 years, so I guess I wouldn't understand network issues and connectivity, really. Or service level agreements. Or teaching my grandmother how to suck eggs.

@virginmedia Both wired and wireless. We've had 8 engineers out, a rewire, new hub and still endless drop outs. Was told finally it was an upload issue from the amp that supplied the box on the street. But still we're having issues. The 150 number is joke, make it simple!!!

@virginmedia @joshyw0shy Its the whole of the Wirral by the sound of it, no statement from Virgin, just telling hundreds of customers to check for an outage, only have to look at their twitter to see how many of us have been told the same thing

@virginmedia Okay, but with respect, the problem is your call centre say different stuff every time, which inevitably bears no resemblance to reality. Later, VM deny those conversations ever took place and there is no written evidence to back up what was agreed. That's what I am after here?

No service in CH44 for 2 days last week, back on for 2, then off again today. No text updates but service status says a fix by 20.00. Won't happen though will it? @virginmedia

@virginmedia There's no point raising a complaint is there, as you won't comprnsate? Other reputable oroviders offer a back-up 4 or 5g device to kick in if their main broadband goes down, to keep the service running. Not VM though - it's just all really poor customer service innit?

@virginmedia Thats just an update to say they are dealing with the issue, people want to know what the issue was and why it is taking so long to repair, there is a continuous extension to repair time and your customers at least deserve detailed information

@virginmedia I am out of contract. I've had your team repeatedly try to phone me in response to a written complaint about the fact you keep trying to phone me. It's comically appalling. Like, how stupid are your staff?

@virginmedia Hi can anyone tell me how to access online chat support from Virgin? I have never known a less helpful site than Virgin for not allowing access to what people need.
-
Jody Medland

@virginmedia I mean, as it stands right now, our TV box is broken, so we haven't been able to watch any TV channels through Virgin for days. Yet even when I contact the faults team, having a broken box isn't an option. So how the hell am I supposed to get it replaced?
-
Shitehawk (GU11) and still European
(@Whitlean) reported
@virginmedia Right, let me just explain again. The 0345 number has an automated response, no one is available. The chatbot isn't able to solve the issue. So the best you can suggest is I just keep trying and trying over again until someone picks up the phone? And all because you owe me money!
-
P/T

@virginmedia No laptops on wired. Yes comes back on eventually. When gaming it seems to go slow then speeds up too. There’s something up. It’s not right at all.
-

@virginmedia my virgin broadband going up by £3.50 from £33 to £36.50! I'll be cancelling so go **** yourselves. So we can cancel free of charge too. ******* expensive as it is! Right only 2.6% which would. That would be 85p more than £33. Yours is more than 10% increase!!
-
LFC_Dirk
(@LFC_Dirk_YNWA) reported
@McGeezer87 @virginmedia I renewed mine last month. Pretty much the same situation as yourself. When they wouldn’t match my existing price I asked to be put through to the retentions team to cancel. Once I got through with in a couple of minutes the guy gave me a better deal than I original had.
-
Jody Medland
(@jodymedland) reported
@virginmedia Well I was told on Twitter to send them a screenshot, so that's the only reason I did that. Now your phone line just outright says "we're too busy," and cuts off. I mean, come on, what do I do here? I'm paying for a service that isn't working, and with zero support to fix it!

Psychology Charlotte

@virginmedia Can I get an explanation as to why I'm only now being told it's going to take 6-8 weeks to install wifi at my house? I signed up a month ago and have twice had the installation delayed. Just waited an hour on hold to talk to someone only for them to hang up on me.
