  • agarnett Adam (@agarnett) reported from Wigan, England

@virginmedia Is there any way to tell if there are signal issues in your area? This says i should get 4g indoors and outdoors, i dont though i can barely access mobile internet from my house. Last 3 months have been awful

  • tuite_liz Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia See thread above, nothing changes except the time of the estimated fix. It must be very localised as not everyone in my area is affected. So if it is damaged cables, I haven’t seen anyone out repairing them over the weekend, it’s a joke

  • tuite_liz Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia I looked and that says it’s from the day I registered the total loss of service which was yesterday but really it should be from Friday afternoon when I did the online chat. If I DM you can you check?

  • MirLADas phil61efc (@MirLADas) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia what’s going on virgin no tv since Friday morning told 5th now 6th no messages nothing paying for nothing compensation rates garbage nothing should take this long with a company like virgin L4 area

  • _AdamGardiner Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia I also don’t need to monitor the quality of my broadband, I already know it’s awful. I don’t understand how that would help.

  • tuite_liz Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia Can you check that I will be receiving a credit on my next bill as it has been down since Friday afternoon and I don’t think it will be fixed by 12pm today, I think that time will get changed again.

  • SmithysMaud Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England

Day 42 of no service from @virginmedia. Engineer meant to be coming again today, think I’ve more chance of a unicorn showing up to be fair. 🦄

  • NatashaVic Capitã Nat (@NatashaVic) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia Can I speak to a human, please? It’s impossible to speak to anyone here. I paid for my bill via bank transfer more than a week ago and it hasn’t been registered. Phone service is not recognising my password and I can’t find a live chat.

  • gamepopper Gamepopper (@gamepopper) reported from Salford, England

@virginmedia Oh, my bad. Apparently the wiring outside my house has a fault, someone did come last Monday to work on it,and someone was supposed to work on it for Thursday, but it keeps being pushed back (order ref 55230469).

  • JohnnyDude1983 🦔🦊Johnny1983 🦝🐱 (Big Animal Lover🐕🐶🐁) (@JohnnyDude1983) reported from Bury, England

@bazza141 @virginhelp @virginmedia Join the club. I spent over 1hr 30 mins trying to get a issue resolved . I kept getting through to their over-seas call centres . It took almost 20 call re-tries to get through to a young lady over in Newcastle 😳😞. It's rediculous that they got call centres in 17 countries.

  • Radebreast Graeme Radebe (@Radebreast) reported from Ormskirk, England

@virginmedia Hi - Ive noticed alot of people are having the same issues. Its the Sky TV Go app on Playstation 4. Ive checked it on another internet and it works fine so it is definitely an error on your side. You need to sort the internet settings. It struggles to load “on Now” on the app.

  • realjackoh187 Jack Kelly (@realjackoh187) reported from Widnes, England

@virginmedia So I had loss of service but not complete even tho the service I had wasn't enough to even complete a 15 minute online training. Great. Even though you only have cold water, would you still get a bath? Nah don't think you would

  • DannyLannon dannyWAFClannon (@DannyLannon) reported from Wigan, England

@Louisewafc @virginmedia Nice of Stoke fans turn up to support us

  • Robertlfc_ Rob (@Robertlfc_) reported from Liverpool, England

@virginmedia just been took out of a game of fifa, that I was winning! Because of your awful internet. Get it fixed!!

  • realjackoh187 Jack Kelly (@realjackoh187) reported from Widnes, England

@virginmedia Visit was fine replaced wifi. I was never out of Internet completely like it says only your compensation page, but it was equally as bad since my step daughter had online training to do which couldn't be done at all. My children also were not able to do homework.

  • _AdamGardiner Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia Have you just stopped responding now? Having some system issues?

  • tuite_liz Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia I first informed Virgin Media that my internet was down via online chat on Friday afternoon. Will this have automatically been the time when my loss of service was registered as at the time the advisor said it would be fixed in 24 hours?

  • tuite_liz Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia my internet has been down since Friday afternoon. I was told it would be fixed in 24 hours, the time has since changed and is currently at 8pm this evening. I work from home so need my internet back up and running before Monday morning. This is disgraceful

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • mr_moosehead Mr Moosehead (@mr_moosehead) reported

@virginmedia how do I actually get to talk/communicate with your customer services? Waiting for over an hour on the phone is not viable customer service. I'm happy to communicate via chat etc, but you don't give that option.

  • waughzone Duncan Waugh (@waughzone) reported

@virginmedia My online account smugly says my order was delivered yesterday. Only partly true. I can’t spend another 2 hours on the phone trying to speak to a human. How do I resolve this? I can’t even cancel my contract without spending hours on the phone. Such awful customer relations.

  • AytoGary Gary Ayto (@AytoGary) reported

@virginmedia Wait people can play online with this garbage broadband #notfitforuse

  • adelwire graham littler (@adelwire) reported

  • stuartfolley stuart folley (@stuartfolley) reported

@virginmedia had a email yesterday saying how you’ve improved my WiFi and no need to do anything.. funny that because the last 2 months it’s been absolute garbage and it’s still crap after this email! What’s happened?!?!

  • waughzone Duncan Waugh (@waughzone) reported

@virginmedia I’ve done that. ‘Please allow 28 days to investigate’ - that’s no good to me. I have 14 days (11 now) to find out whether you can provide the service I am paying for. Is not not possible for someone to call or email instead of me shouting down a drainpipe hoping for a reply?

  • welshmarcia marcia....c.o.d aka xxMumwithaGunxx (@welshmarcia) reported

@virginmedia Hello.apparently there was but then I had a text to say it was fixed but the same issue occuring I've had for months .im really not happy now..ive been told I need a hub4 because we have alot of devices but nobody can seem to help me keep my tariff and change to the hub4.

  • SMullenHV Sascha Mullen 💙 (@SMullenHV) reported

@virginmedia Yes already done that. We have 2 issues, 1. The incoming speed is 119mbps (paying for 500) and 2. WiFi speeds are significantly reduced. Do I need to be considering @SkyUK??
