-
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England@virginmedia Can you check that I will be receiving a credit on my next bill as it has been down since Friday afternoon and I don’t think it will be fixed by 12pm today, I think that time will get changed again.
-
jimmy (@jimmysteamboat) reported from Manchester, England@virginmedia Can you confirm if service is down in the M4 Manchester postcode? Us and Neighbours wifi not working when we are WFH!
-
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England@virginmedia You’re not understanding. I do contact when the issue is happening, your advisor then fixes it, but it then happens again within 24 hours. I need a ‘once and for all’ fix. Not this whack a mole approach you’ve had so far.
-
Carol Rowles (@CallyRaven) reported from Westhoughton, England@virginmedia I seem to be the first one to report them, still saying intermittent problems in my area. Can't get to speak to anyone on phone, I rely on the Internet.
-
Laser Lux, Wigan. (@TheWiganParky) reported from Haydock, England@virginmedia If my bill went down with my speed, I wouldn't mind.
-
Jack Kelly (@realjackoh187) reported from Widnes, England@virginmedia Visit was fine replaced wifi. I was never out of Internet completely like it says only your compensation page, but it was equally as bad since my step daughter had online training to do which couldn't be done at all. My children also were not able to do homework.
-
🦔🦊Johnny1983 🦝🐱 (Big Animal Lover🐕🐶🐁) (@JohnnyDude1983) reported from Bury, England@bazza141 @virginhelp @virginmedia Join the club. I spent over 1hr 30 mins trying to get a issue resolved . I kept getting through to their over-seas call centres . It took almost 20 call re-tries to get through to a young lady over in Newcastle 😳😞. It's rediculous that they got call centres in 17 countries.
-
Mark Armstrong (@mark001282) reported from Manchester, England@virginmedia Don't give me your copy and pasted waffle. You have done nothing to help. You have been an absolute thorn in my side! "I'm so sorry you feel this way" is such an outdated and terrible response from a marketing point of view btw.
-
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England@virginmedia They’ve been today apparently to do the repull and nothing has changed. Still no service. I won’t be paying this month as I’m not paying for nothing.
-
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England@virginmedia Will they help if the Wi-Fi is working at the time I call? Because my issue is that when it is working, your advisors consider their work done despite telling them that it usually doesn’t last. And invariable, it doesn’t.
-
kevin.james (@pillbo01) reported from Bolton, EnglandI have virgin media but they don’t have a Customer service that you can speak to. Or email I’ve had a problem for over a month since an engineer messed about in the box in the street. Picture on tv keeps pixilated.
-
Paul Regent (@PaulRegent1) reported from Bolton, England@virginmedia no internet available in Bolton - must be an outage as, although coverage is very poor, it isn’t usually this poor!!
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
(Re)Search & Destroy (@TruthAsylum121) reportedTHREAD 8 — THE DEVICES Connectivity is only useful if people have something to connect. This takes us to Solidaritech in Bradford. The organisation was established in 2017 to refurbish unwanted technology and provide it to refugees and asylum seekers. It works with laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphones. The cumulative figure is now more than 5,000 devices since 2017. But that isn’t simply historical. Solidaritech is still operating. In 2025, Bechtle partnered with Solidaritech to repurpose 857 devices, including phones, laptops, PCs and tablets, which were donated to asylum seekers and refugees. Then there is Migrant Help. Through Community Calling, smartphones and free data have been provided specifically for asylum seekers and survivors of trafficking and modern slavery. Virgin Media O2 reported that Migrant Help had received 1,250 devices and free data, with a further 5,000 devices planned. Screen Share UK also received funding to provide devices, connectivity and repair training to refugees and asylum seekers. Its trainees then repaired and redistributed devices to other refugees. The device itself has therefore become part of an ongoing system. Technology is collected. It is refurbished. It is connected. It is distributed. And sometimes the recipient is taught how to repair the next device.

CallMeMo (@CallMeMoMow) reported@virginmedia You are aware of how absolutely dogshit your Hub 5 is for anything other than brand new tech devices aren't you? I'd like compensation for the piss poor performance please and thank you
-
tracey johnson (@traceyjohnson44) reported@virginmedia It was very frustrating and the caller kept saying my mum had to talk. But my mum gets confused. I was getting stressed as my mum relies on it. But it should say on my mum's account that she is elderly and has emergency calling attached to her phone.

Dr Shama Junejo (@ShamaJunejo) reportedThere is no WiFi service since yesterday in South Croydon @virginmedia and no one is providing information that when it will be restored. You are the worst broadband provider in the area with pathetic customer service.
-
Alex DM || ⭐ || (@Xoman08) reported@PitRucker99 @Starlink The UK is not that bad. Spain is much worse. People pay €49 / month for internet. The problem in the UK is lack of "physical options" but it is getting better: 1. Virgin Media (cable) 2. BT - Telephone lines - ADSL - Fiber optic 3. Three - 5G modem 4. Starlink
