@virginmedia Lastly, still waiting on a cheque from last year for services that I was charged for but didn’t use. Refund only available via cheque obvs because with it being 2018 you still hadn’t caught up with bank transfers. Thinking about, your entire offering is a crock of shit.

  • Mark29HT Mark Danylczuk (@Mark29HT) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia Delivery driver who came to drop off packaging to return your equipment was very rude indeed. Aggressively banged on my door with the packaging and so abrupt. Appalling.

  • Doublejayz72 James Jackson (@Doublejayz72) reported from Manchester, England

You know what I love about @virginmedia they are not content with being rubbish.....not at all. They are constantly thinking of ways to be worse, no Broadband for 3 days and do they care... nope. Hats off to them for breaking boundaries and proving crap just isn’t good enough

  • thereal_rookie Paul Rooke (@thereal_rookie) reported from Prescot, England

@virginmedia Rebooted, changed channels, sometimes get a bit of 5ghz, but really not high quality signal, stuttering video playback.

  • kam_afzal Kamran Afzal (@kam_afzal) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia Further to this, your customer service is terrible as is your pricing structure. The company that comes to ‘install’ the service are a bunch of cowboys and have compete disregard for a customers home. Wouldn’t use your service ever again.

  • Reidy_25 liam (@Reidy_25) reported from Prescot, England

@virginmedia your internet is terrible and you have the cheek to charge people a small fortune for the use of it

  • thereal_rookie Paul Rooke (@thereal_rookie) reported from Prescot, England

@virginmedia It was an account pretending to be yourselves, trying to phish for info. Reported it to Twitter. The account viriginmeida has been suspended. #regards my issue. Your black spot spotter is not great if a black spot is so black that I get no WiFi

  • toewad1 toewad1 (@toewad1) reported from Salford, England

@virginmedia Seriously you are a crap broadband, you might bragg about being "superfast" but for gaming you are seriously shite, how the hell can my gaming be so bad when you advertise a gaming broadband, oh my mistake you don't now do you, pathetic.

@virginmedia Apparently there is an issue in the area. It’s happened quite a few times and as I work from home a lot, losing a half day of work time is very frustrating.

  • toewad1 toewad1 (@toewad1) reported from Salford, England

@virginmedia So fed up with this lag, @virginmedia so glad to get rid of your hub3 soon how much would that router cost you £2.00 is it worth the mither you cheap scum. Just saying, I will be off soon, but don't like VM. Never ever again.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • minzibz1988 k games (@minzibz1988) reported

@virginmedia I agreed a new package price of 44 and got charged more. My Internet service was very bad and I got 350 Internet speed I got charged 163 for no reason I should have had 75 credit instead that went missing and I got charged over 3 times my bill.

  • _AnthonyByrne Anthony Byrne (@_AnthonyByrne) reported

@virginmedia The issue is that last Saturday Virgin Media went down. It took a good few days for the broadband to come back on but when I tried to do the tv box. It says that it couldn't load up so I just gave up.

  • carooftheavon CC (@carooftheavon) reported

@virginmedia Recorded message saying there's a 'complex' issue. No fix time given and never is. My point is that as this has been going on for over a month, I think it's high time your customers got a little more explanation than a vague recorded message.

  • Courtney_Star1 Courtney Draper 💝💋 (@Courtney_Star1) reported

@virginmedia I’ve just reset the rooter, but that’s the second time this week we’ve had to do it. My partner is paying nearly £50 a month for an average service being provided.

  • chris_oneill94 Chris O'Neill (@chris_oneill94) reported

@virginmedia I'm never off messages, calls with you. I very regularly have zero or intermittent WiFi. Surely at a certain point this is a breach of contract/service and I can walk away?

  • maureen2900 no nonsense (@maureen2900) reported

@virginmedia The thing is, this is a reoccurring problem which is getting stupid.

  • dr_usmananjum Usman Anjum (@dr_usmananjum) reported

@virginmedia Both parties agree on a specific contract, however for last 5 months I’m not receiving the full package despite full payment. You’re unable to resolve the problem and wasted my time on web, phone chats and technician visits. #CustomerService #virginmedia

  • Gem_Gem_Louise Gemma Louise Butler (@Gem_Gem_Louise) reported

@virginmedia collections agent stated "irrespective of that, you have to pay" Virgin Media What sort of customer service is that?!? Im in tears, my hubbys shaking with stress and rage that a massive company like Virgin Media won't honour the information from TWO separate agents.

  • carooftheavon CC (@carooftheavon) reported

@virginmedia It's impacted in that I have none. And your telephone helpline recorded message confirms this. It affects all your customer in the Sutton SM1 area as you can see from the numerous previous tweets has been going on for some time.

  • nicholasvane Nick Vane (@nicholasvane) reported

@virginmedia So no exact times as to when it will go down and only a rough time when it will be back. Last month it didn’t recover until late evening after we switched the box off (one of our neighbours suggested this). Nothing in your comms said we need to do this
