  • SmithysMaud

@virginmedia Nobody can help me, they just keep asking for patience. They’ve had since august to fix it. It’s unacceptable.

  • 1AnneMcCormack
Anne McCormack (@1AnneMcCormack) reported from Billinge Chapel End, England

@virginmedia I tell them to ring 999 or 0151 709 6010 if they want to report a crime. They hang up but they sound South Asian and their English is poor. I worry about other oaps being conned. Good luck chasing them.

@virginmedia Or put me through to a manager or try to be remotely helpful in keeping me as a customer, im trying to sign an 18 month contract to give you money every month which I could just give to someone else I will not let this lie till i have my money back!

  • LindzDDub
Lindz Devine (@LindzDDub) reported from Wigan, England

@virginmedia I have to say your Internet connection is ridiculous... for months on end, it's been shocking. I'm sick and tired of resetting my hub, I shouldn't be having this issue. Never had so much issue for the years I've had you and now, the past 6 months, I'm paying monies…

  • SmithysMaud
Mrs Smith (@SmithysMaud) reported from St Helens, England

@virginmedia 3 x engineer visits, each time telling me there’s a blockage. Why does nobody fix it? I can’t even get through to cancel my services and get a refund for the direct debits I’ve paid when I’ve had zero service.

  • Lerounxi
Reece Jordan Doonan, RN (@Lerounxi) reported from Salford, England

  • mark001282
Mark Armstrong (@mark001282) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia I spoke to your customer service team on 2nd January who advised all issues had been resolved and my sim card was being sent out by royal mail delivery. Even with any postal delays out of your control it seems odd that it hasn't arrived.

  • SiManM20

  • johnsonhomes2
johnsonhomes (@johnsonhomes2) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia The guy I spoke to at VM yesterday said that she wouldn’t be eligible for a “disabled” phone line to be installed because it wasn’t claimed when they dug the front garden up 18 months ago. We were never given this as an option at the time, if we had we would have insisted on it.

  • SandyLindsay

@stered75 @virginmedia Turn off at the switch on the back of the box; then on the front of the box hold down both the power button and the minus button at the same time. Then turn on the box again whilst keeping hold of those buttons for a further 30 seconds

  • shyeahmed

@virginmedia I have been trying to contact VM since Thursday to sort out contract. Waited on the phone 2+ hours and got disconnected. Then spoke to someone saying they have technical issues. Now my bill has been issued at a higher price because I cant get through to you 😡

  • AndySut63307161

@virginmedia Having problems accessing email on multiple devices, how do i resolve. Cannot find answers, BOT is useless. Do you employ humans with whom i may converse to resolve issues? Regards Andy

  • chris_knibb
    Christopher Knibb (@chris_knibb) reported

Do not use @virginmedia Twitter - they are scammers. Spoke on the phone to VM call centre who said VM would never ask the questions this X account and the WhatsApp account they connect you with would ask. AVOID!!!!

  • chris_knibb
    Christopher Knibb (@chris_knibb) reported

Could @virginmedia be the worst company to get in touch with? Trying to cancel my contract. Website isn’t working, chat facility is glitching and after two hours no one has answered the phone. Gone slightly crazy listening to the same jazz song over and over again!

  • Emer49034181
    Emerfly66 @CLLIreland @LCovidirl. #Free Palestine (@Emer49034181) reported

Not only that but they said they’d call me to discuss next steps . What next steps @VirginMediaIE ?!! What could I possibly contribute to solving the issue. This isn’t good enough @virginmedia. I have friends also experiencing problems with VM .

  • Razor1967
    Simon White (@Razor1967) reported

@virginmedia just a quick question, are your phones down today , been trying to get through for 90 mins only for you to hang up on me.

  • nickytrickster
    nicky kaleniuk (@nickytrickster) reported

@virginmedia urgently trying to get through to customer services as my emails have gone down and was on hold with the most annoying music, and then was cut off dead at exactly 2 hours.

  • rolandhesz
    Roland Hesz 🎸⛩️🏳️‍🌈 (@rolandhesz) reported

Hey @virginmedia, is it correct that I am not allowed to read the contract before I sign up but I still have to tick the "I have read it..." checkbox to sign up? That's what your customer service agent is telling me now. I thought it was a broken link but I'm told otherwise.
